Pros: Was nice and tidy and the fresh towels brought by on the second day was lovely. Kids loved the heated pool too. Weather was quite bad (very strong winds with rain and hail) but other than the noise from the hail, the building was nice and sturdy and had no drafts in the room at all.

Cons: Had little to no TV reception all stay (3 nights, varying weather conditions). May need something on the stairs for when the rain is bad to prevent slipping also.

Cons: The rooms are very old and full of smells. I booked through booking.com and from the photos I saw there was totally different. When I slept on the bed, I felt some insects was bitten me which caused me cannot sleep much. Hopefully they can refurbish the room and change all the old carpets and pest control.

Pros: Wow I was so surprised by this motel! The staff were awesome, the bed was sooooo comfortable, the shower was fantastic, pillows were great and the food lovely at fantastic prices. These are all the things that make for a great stay and we loved it! They were also accommodating when we were running late for check out. 10/10 for me, if I’m back in Mt Gambier again I will definitely be staying here.

Cons: Bathroom was not the cleanest. When you shower the water runs out of the shower stall and all over the bathroom floor. Shower head leaks. Bathroom faucet is loose and turns when you move the valve from hot to cold.

Cons: I would have appreciated a truthful answer to the question about the 24 hour fuel station next door. I was told it would go quiet after 10pm. Not true! However, to be fair, the truck stop was far enough away not to be a real bother and I slept well the second night, and a light sleep the first night was probably my fault. My wife slept well both nights. I forgot to mention to the cleaner that although the floor tiles were cleaned, they were sticky. Next door had a sticking door which was banged in the night to get it to shut. I encouraged him to report it but he thought to put it in the review instead. I recommend a double power point or power board on the bench for the appliances; a single is totally inadequate. Overall these 3 things can be easily fixed and would enhance value for money.
