Pros: Super nice staff, wonderful room, excellent breakfast!
Pros: We had just checked out at 11 AM, the weather outside was dreadful, it had been raining cats and dogs relentlessly since the previous evening. We were ready to get soaked in the rain and to get drenched walking the muddy streets of the medina to reach the nearest petit taxi, when Hassan, our host, brings two umbrellas. He tells me and my wife to take them, while he grabs both our heavy suitcases and hurries up the medina in the storm until he finds a taxi, loads the luggage, tells the driver where to go and not to rip us off and waves us goodbye completely wet from the rain, while we sit comfortably in the taxi. The day before, Hassan found Yazid, a super nice driver who drove us to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss, who was patient enough to allow some four hours to visit both places and come back. I mean, this is what it means to go the extra mile. What can you ask more? Ah yes, the riad is beautiful, the area is very central but not in the middle of the chaos of Meknes' souks. Walking distance from all major attractions, you can enjoy a fantastic view from the terrace. The room was nice, with heaters to fight the chilly December temperatures, with hot water in the bathroom. Excellent breakfast and great dinner too, if you want to eat at the riad in the evening. Overall, we were really pleased, far above our expectations and at a very reasonable price.
Cons: Essentially, we liked everything. The street leading to the entrance is a bit of a bumpy, dusty road that can be a little intimidating if visitors are not used to being in a medina (in case, don't worry, it's all fine). The faucet was covered in verdigris and detached from the base of the sink.
Pros: Very beautifully decorated with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Everything was as advertised.
Pros: Hassan was very friendly professional helpful and knowledgeable He is a great host
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Quiet spot where you get to experience local life. Hassan was most helpful and made our stay outstanding.
Cons: Room highly decorated
Pros: The breakfast was fabulous on the terrace upstairs. The staff were wonderful. Dinner was excellent. The responsiveness was fantastic as well. We had a lovely stay!
Cons: Getting receipts took a long time, and some of the room facilities could use a bit of a refresh. But overall, it was wonderful! Thank you!
Pros: We had a great stay here - lovely room, wonderful roof terrace and delicious breakfasts. We ate dinners here too - perfectly cooked traditional food. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. We loved this beautiful Riad - the best we stayed in on our trip.
Pros: The Riad was clean, comfy and nothing was to much to ask for. Our room was large and accommodated our family of 4 easily. Would happily stay here again when in Meknes.
Pros: The riad is at the edge of the Medina, so easy to find. The rooms are very well appointed and attractive, and the bed was very comfortable. The terrace on the roof of the riad is very nice, a great place to relax and have breakfast and dinner. The food was very good at the The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Because the riad is at the edge of the Medina, it is a short walk to all the main attractions.

Pros: The riad itself is stunning. A beautiful and large building - more like a small palace - exquisitely decorated. Really interesting trying to find our way back to our room! It was a proper little adventure! The roof terrace! Wow! Amazing place to chill, sunbathe, drink tea, read and watch the sunset. Fantastic views over Meknes. The pool looked lovely, and was kept topped up and clean, but a bit cold for us in December! The place is kept very clean. Room serviced and towels changed daily. Great shower - Loads of hot water and good toiletries provided. Comfy bed with extra blanket. Super breakfast. All the staff were kind, courteous and helpful, especially Khalid, who is an absolute sweetheart! Speaks good English too. Top host! Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: The riad was rather cold, throughout. We put our jackets on to come indoors! But I guess that's the nature of riads. We did have adequate heating in our room and plenty of blankets. Could've done with a rail and clothes hangers in the cupboard as it wasn't a lot of use.
Pros: very beautiful Riad and very spacious. The staffs are very friendly and always willing to help. We got even upgrade from standard double room to a suite for free, thank you very much! There are plenty of varieties for breakfast. The highlight is the terrace, it has a great view, and enough places to have a good break/nap there.
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful they are going to do everything they can to satisfy your needs, good breakfast
Cons: In January The room was quite cold and the water of the shower not so warm
Pros: The room was great, well designed, and spaciousnes. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious
Cons: The stay was exceptionally good, but if I had to name one negative thing it would be that the water in the shower did not get very hot, perhaps because we visited on a cloudy day.
Pros: Excellent breakfast and service. The riad is so big and spacious with a huge multi-area terrace. Just stunning! Everyone was very friendly and helpfull. A special thanks to Khaled, Mustapha, Leila and all the others.
Pros: Our room had a private terrace with wonderful views! The room itself had gorgeous carved gypsum on the walls and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent; easily one of the best I've had at any riad in Morocco. The spicy fried egg was really delicious; I only wish they would offer at least one egg per person rather than for two to share! The coffee was far superior to the usual Riad fare!
Cons: Unfortunately the water heater in our bathroom wasn't working properly but this should be easily remedied.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: It’s very close the Bab Mansour. The location is closet the public parking. It’s very safety . The parking have staff watching 24hr.
Pros: Amazing meal both nights in their restaurant, good location and lovely roof top balcony.
Pros: A beautiful Riad, well located, with comfortable bedrooms, nice public areas and providing good food served by friendly staff.
Pros: I loved this Riad. ALL of the staff were friendly and helpful. Achraf helped me arrange rides and guides to Fez and Casablanca which really made my travels so much easier and enjoyable. The people he lined up for me were great! I highly recommend this Riad. It's in a great location as well. Thank you to all the people at Riad Yacout!
Pros: The location and the nice room.
Cons: The people were a little bit closed in conversation and they only communicated on French.
Cons: Breakfast insufficiente
Pros: We arrived in low season and were offered a free upgrade, as well as later check out after the trip to Volubilis which we arranged through the riad. The location is amazing and the rooftop terrace very nice too!
Cons: Water in the shower takes long to warm up, dining area is quite dark, breakfast was a notch more basic than what we had elsewhere in Morocco
Pros: Located in the heart of the Medina, yacout has provided me and my parents with a wonderful time each time I have stayed there. The service provided by mr. Nourdine is wonderful, and there are always friendly faces. I was able to get a wonderful sleep in a very comfortable bed when I stayed there, and I woke up to a wonderful breakfast. The staff are also very amicable and speak several languages.

Pros: Very elegant maison in a perfect traditional style. The location is exceptional - easy to find, only 3 min from Bab Mansur. The staff is very professional and also very kind. it has been very touching to see the pictures of the restoration of the place. They testify that the owners kept original features of the Riad.
Pros: Riad has pretty decor and they helped arrange taxi to volubolis.
Cons: It's very noisy location! Did not get any sleep while there. I would not recommend this place if wanting to sleep. The noise from the nearby medina is just too much. Dtaff is nice and room visually nice but again, just too noisy of a place.
Pros: So much character to the place. I think we had the best rooms which were spacious and stylish - but we poked our heads round the doors of the smaller rooms and they were still large. We stayed in one night, bought in snacks and played games in the lounge area of our room - the staff saw we had bought wine and gin, so brought us some glasses and ice. We had a good time in Meknes and I'm sure a large part of that was having a lovely place to stay.
Cons: Not much! I guess the locks on the bedroom doors are a little tricky as they looked like the original doors - but easy enough to operate once you mastered them.
Pros: This is recommended in Lonely Planets - the riad was very sweet and felt extremely authentic. Having stayed in other Riads this felt as if you where staying in someone's home; tea offered during check-in, lady working there was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and fresh - even juiced fresh oranges in the morning! Sign posted from Main Street which is helpful to know which turn to go down!
Cons: Lonely planets guidebook suggests little turtles can be found - but none found on our visit!
Pros: Fantastic hosts. Very attentive and even did some laundry for us. Beautiful decor. Very close to the Place el-Hedim where we ate most of the time and enjoyed the entertainment. Would highly recommend this riad.
Cons: Not a complaint but just a suggestion - a bedside lamp would have been greatly appreciated
Pros: Great location, friendly host and fantastic bathroom. Meknes is a great town to visit.
Pros: The staff is amazing, the breakfast is great, and the riad is faboulouse..
Pros: Hosts were very kind and helpful. Nice breakfast and large room. Nice rooftop with a view on the animated square.

Pros: The staff were very hospitable Even though they had no English it was a fun time and they looked after us a treat Breakfast was good Let us use the washing machine and the view from the terrace was very scenic
Pros: The Riad has a perfect location and is very peaceful. We also liked the breakfast.
Pros: The staff were lovely. A very relaxing place and had heating in the bathroom
Pros: Very friendly and helpful owners and staff, obviously have put a lot of work into this nice old place. Full of character, nice views off the terrace. Catered to special dietary needs at breakfast.
Pros: The owner was not there when we arrived due to a sudden death in the family. Very understandable. The person standing in at reception only spoke Arabic. Thankfully another guest was able to show us to our room. The breakfast was basic but OK. What makes this great value for money is the location. Right on the edge of the Medina, close to taxis and easy to find.
Cons: Poor security. Room lock was a joke and wouldn't keep out the cat let alone a thief. No front door key and to gain entry you needed slim fingers and a pen. Thieves could figure that out as well. The electric heater had a sensitive thermostat and would turn off every few seconds, annoying and noisy. No soap or toilet paper in the room. The owner didn't want people to pay by credit card and insisted we pay by cash but she used a bad exchange rate for MAD. She added 10% to the posted exchange rate that day but I refused and offered the going rate. She accepted.
Pros: Beautiful loft room on ground floor. We were worried about noise from reception and breakfast area but it turned out that it was deadly quiet in the morning! Great breakfast - we love the local flat bread!
Cons: It was a little dark in the room.
Pros: Location was fantastic.
Pros: Old riad in which the owners have put a lot of work into. It is not modern and is just what i expected. The women are friendly and helpful, although there is no english spoken. Broken french was adequate.

Pros: The riad is very nicely laid out with a large terrace and decorations throughout. The staff is very quick and aims to answer all of your questions.
Cons: It was difficult to get the hot water. You have to let it run for a while, and even then it might not warm up much.
Pros: Friendly staff, location was very nice
Cons: the air conditioner was not working, the internet was not working, it was cold.
Pros: The location was alright, close to the medina.
Pros: Wonderful old riad in the town center. Good value for money. Very friendly staff.
Pros: Good value for money in a great location. Very clean and great service from the hosts. Exactly what we were looking for.
Pros: It was clean, good breakfast and the helpfull staff
Pros: The riad is simply amazing. Beautiful building and a good room. Breakfast is good as you have much choice.
Cons: Unfortunately the pool was closed but this is normal in winter
Pros: Only two things I would mention It’s far from the car parking spots so you have to carry your stuff 1/2 mile The room was not warm enough Temperature outside was 37F

Pros: Location was ideal for us as it was between old and new town, easy to walk to either. We had a quiet room at the back, overlooking the pool, so no traffic noise. Friendly receptionist sorted us a taxi to go to Volubilis.
Cons: No hairdryer and only one towel each. No safe.

Pros: Nice terrace. The woman who worked here was kind but she speaks just french.
Cons: They didn’t speak English. The blanket was dirty.
Pros: - Good value for money (about 28€ on january) - Location - Nice
Cons: - Difficult to find - Poor breakfast, no egg or orange juice - Room too cramped
Pros: Very beautiful and apsolutely amazing riad! It’s very clean and comfortable with terrase with a beautiful view. Design and art in this riad is big plus! Also is good location and quiet. Staff is very kind and helpful! I recomend !!!
Pros: Accomodation was acceptable and clean.
Cons: Regarding service, only one persone could speak English. I don´t recommend to book the excursions or transfer services offered bz the riad.

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very clean, great location, spacious rooms and calm.
Cons: Called ahead of making booking to ask for quiet room in the Moroccan wing on ground floor. On check in we were given the complete opposite on the first floor and were woken up by the sounds of the nightclub till early hours of the morning. Also no viable WiFi in the rooms. Have to go to lobby. For the price you pay WiFi is a minimum. We had booked a week and checked out early after 2 nights. Terrible hotel and unhelpful staff.
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent. It was built in the 1920s so we were not expecting it to be uber luxurious, the staff were extremely friendly, after the first day at breakfast our waiter memorized how everyone in our group liked their eggs / breakfast!
Cons: You can see that the hotel obviously has an issue with their maintenance team. I mean I hope there is no maintenance team because if there is one they aren't doing great. We booked 4 rooms and each one had a small problem like the electronic safe wasnt working, the mini-fridge wasnt working, the shower was leaky etc. The good thing was that these problems seemed to be distributed evenly among the rooms. Overall we were very happy with our stay!
Pros: This is a grand old lady of a hotel, situated in magnificent gardens and beautifully decorated inside in Moroccan style mosaics and lounges. There is a very pleasant bistro in the grounds which, despite being abysmally lit, has excellent food and staff
Cons: Little things annoyed without distracting from the opulence - no directory in the room (impossible to call room service) unpredictable equipment (meknes is chilly at night and the heating was random) confusion over when or if the restaurant was open at night

Pros: Location, well mannered staff, cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast wasn't good for the money charged
Pros: Staff were friendly. Hearty breakfast. Good wifi. Location is next to a major street with some restaurants and shops around.
Cons: Interior was a bit dated. AC did not work properly and the room took long time to get warm /winter time/.
Pros: Well located near the railway station. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpfull staff.
Pros: The location is excellent, about 5 minutes walk from the train station. However, the facilities are outdated and the bed was not comfortable. The shower room is small and uncleaned. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We felt it’s ok to stay one night as transitional spot as we can practically walk to the station easily.
Cons: Interior decor, shower room and bed comfort.
Pros: Everything was good
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful, they even printed out our boarding passes at the reception.
Cons: The view was terrible and the pool was out of order.
Pros: Nice spacious rooms. Staff are nice and friendly & helpful
Cons: Staff tried their best but we couldn't get a taxi to the city which meant staying in for the night.
When you stay at Riad Meknès in Meknes, you'll be in the historical district, within a 10-minute walk of Bou Inania Medersa and Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice room - spacious and comfortable. Bathroom ok, not too clean, but really nice hot shower with colorful tiles. Heating in room was a plus.
Cons: Swimming pool was empty, they should have mentioned this on their site, very poor wifi - only in the big cold room downstairs, reception partly friendly (fresh tea served) partly not. It was all very quiet and dark.
Pros: For this price, nothing.
Cons: Our room was propably never used by other costumers because there were NO WINDOWS, it smells unfresh, the toilet was not working, the shower was working only sometimes, the WiFi was working only near the kitchen (far away from our room and far away from che common areas). The second night we went to sleep outiside, in the garden, because the bed was full of BED BUGS! And nobody cares about it. The morning after i had more that 100 BITES and i had to go to a farmacy! The owner was not friendly and helpfull at all! For 50€ a night is unacceptable.
Pros: The riad is big and pittoresque, the rooms are big and beautiful You can eat a full meal , lunch or dinner and the food is really good !
Cons: It was September and it looked like we were the only ones in the riad at this time .. maybe it was just the « off season » relief , but sometimes it felt like we were kind of not welcomed.. the riad was not well presented , like everything was on « break mode » . It’s somehow not fair for the ones who decide to travel after the tourists rush in summer time. However, I believe that this riad is a great place to stay ! The breakfast was the best I had in Morocco and the garden and deco was really enjoyable !
Pros: Wonderful location and wonderful building. A perfect place to relax in Meknes if the welcome had been more welcoming.
Cons: The whole experience was marred by the rather unpleasant nature of one member of staff. Supper was really minimal and left us hungry after a day's travel. Breakfast was planned for 8h15 - 8h30 and was not ready until 8h55.
Pros: I loved in particular the decor of the ancient building. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the good food and the friendly staff.
With a stay at Ryad Bahia in Meknes, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Bou Inania Medersa and Dar Jamai Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Good breakfast
Pros: We initially had a room on the roof that was private and secluded. On the second night we were upgraded to an exceptional room on the first level. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Internet was good throughout the Riad. Good laundry service. Parking was nearby so no problems moving bags to and from.
Cons: No negatives for the property. Would however include a word of caution for guests about cafe Mig Mag near the main gate. Both my partner and I were struck with gastro after eating there.
Pros: Staff very attentive
Cons: All good
Pros: Gorgeous riad in an excellent location near the main square in Meknes. Welcoming and friendly staff answered every question we had. Wonderful communal spaces, including lots of outside spots, with chairs and small nooks scattered around the riad.
Cons: Mattresses were rock hard - this is the main reason I was glad that we only stayed one night, as I found it almost impossible to sleep. The rooms aren't as comfortable as the communal areas, so it would be nice to give the rooms a bit more love.
Pros: Ryad Bahia was a great place to stay; with a surprising amount of green-space tastefully incorporated into its decor and throughout its three main levels, the riad seemed more like an oasis, a place to get away from the blazing sun and relax. The staff and food were excellent and I felt right at home. If you can get a room on the top floor terrace go for it.
Pros: Friendliness, cleanliness, amenities, luxury. A walkable, green roof landscape = oasis. Absolutely legendary!
Pros: So beautiful!
Cons: Don’t have key to front door so if you stay out late you must call them to open. But we didn’t have a phone with service in Morocco to call so come back to the room earlier than we planned

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Nice view from room looking down into the swimming pool. Hotel easy to locate close to highway.
Cons: Beds are small, only twin size fits one person, somehow I was into assumption it was a queen size when I did the reservation. Shower head has clogged holes. no iron is available inside the rooms, and I was surprised to see no one receiving guests at the door or help with luggage for a four stars hotel.
Cons: Dirty. Also the staff are not friendly at all. Sometimes not even polite
