This B&B has a great energy! The couple who runs it are incredible and really want you to enjoy your trip as much as possible! Very central and a close to many fun bars. This area is a bit more French, but as English speakers we were able to make due in every situation
The B&B, rooms and bathrooms are beautifully furnished with quirky art and furniture and everything is very clean and comfortable! There is a fully equipped kitchenette with free tea, coffee, juice and snacks which is a lovely touch. Breakfast was outstanding. A choice of 8 different cooked breakfasts as well as yogurt, cereals, different breads, a beautiful plate of fruit, cheeses, jams etc. It’s a wonderful start to the day. Yo-yo and her husband are so amazing, they are so helpful and accommodating. They helped us find free parking in the street behind the B&B both days we stayed. My husband had also just done an Ironman so we had the bicycle in the car which they helped us store safely in the house. I would highly recommend this stay. We could not fault anything, it was a truly wonderful experience and made our visit in Montreal even better. Thank you so much we loved it.
The host were great and very attentive. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The location was a 20 minute walk to Old Montreal. The art on the walls was interesting. The outside terrace was quaint.
The rooms were dirty, the room in the basement had no natural light, very humid and no possibility of opening a window. The hallway was stinky because everyone was asked to remove their shoes. We had to choose our breakfast every night for the next day. On the last morning, They made a mistake and gave our breakfast to someone else. They didn’t have enough to make the breakfast we asked for. We had to ask repeatedly for more coffee in the morning. They never made enough. They asked us to pay the minute we arrived for the 3 days we were there. Something is definitely not right about the owners and I would never stay there again. It does not live up to its rating.
Returned to new owners, just as good, great breakfast, so helpful with parking! Yoyo & Yen are excellent hosts.
