Pros: Good location, just off the road into Cavtat from the airport so easy to find. At the top of the hill and close to a lovely countryside walk to Cilipi. Owners lovely; very accommodating and willing to give advice. Room spacious with a good private balcony area; the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Adria!!! The best thing was the staff, we had such a warm welcome and we felt like a part of the family! They were so kind and helpful and made us feel like home away from home. Our room was spacious and spotless clean, and the best part was a balcony which was very big and is perfect for morning coffees and dinner outside. There is a kitchenette which was fully equipped and spotless clean, too. Location is very good, you can reach the town in less than 10 minutes. There is a market, small restaurant and a bus station right across the street. Cavtat is an adorable city. Hvala na svemu!
Cons: The fact that we couldn't stay longer :)
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location (up a slight hill but a lot of Cavtat accommodation is). Shared kitchen was useful, and private bathroom and fridge a bonus. The hosts were really friendly, advising us on our driving route to Sarajevo. Terrace was really sweet!
Cons: No toiletries in the bathroom, the hallway is big and quite echoey so any late night or early morning coming and going might wake light sleepers - but generally quiet.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, relaxed accommodating hosts. Good area (if you prepared to tackle the famous 'hill' to & from Cavtat centre! Lovely large terrace off bedroom. Each room had terrace or balcony. Nice shared kitchen area - I discussed 'kettles' with the owner - he may now consider putting one in each room which would be a bonus. Supermarket 'Pemu' 3-4 minute walk away.
Cons: The one small slow kettle in kitchen but owner may replace that now and consider providing one per room..... Cash only payment although Euros accepted.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Was chill
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It has a great terrace. The room is good, but the bathroom is a little small. The location is great. The host is also helpful.
Cons: The bathroom is a little small. No soap and shampoo.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was the second time for us in Croatia. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The livingroom, the bathroom and the kitchen was tidy and were cleaned up every day. The balcony was great. We both felt us very welcome and appreciate it very much. Two thumbs up.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, air-conditioning, balcony, super market within walking distance, Just two minutes away and open till 2200. Within walking distance of Cavtat sea side prominade. Very quiet area. Room had double glazing thus minimising noise. Ten minutes away from the airport. Owner is a very nice person and welcomed us with a bottle of wine from his vineyards. Kitchen although a bit small is equipped with all that one needs.
Cons: Would have welcomed some shower gel and shampoo as we arrived very late at night and had to wait till morning to buy some.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Welcome, friendly cHELPFUL hosts.
Cons: Steep hill to village.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Apart from being very clean and close to everything, the shared kitchen is a bonus.
Cons: All excellent.
6,3 Good
Pros: Very helpful staff. Spacious apartment perfectly suitable for self catering.
7,3 Good
Pros: The apartment is an excellent location, only 5 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes walk to the centre of Cavtat. The owner took us to the airport the next day at no extra charge.
Cons: A little bit of aircraft noise but nothing that really bothered us
6,3 Good
Pros: Friendliness of the owner and his help in arranging transport and allowing bag storage.
Cons: No
5,3 Okay
Pros: Location was very good only 6 minutes from the airport
4,3 Okay
Pros: Some of the available facilities: internet, access to a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning. Position closed to dbv Airport, thus being the main reason for us to book.
Cons: Our room (no.1) was very noisy, facing the main road to Cavtat (vs." beautifully set in quiet and relaxing lush surroundings"); very small and without chairs, desk, space for luggage, etc (vs. "offering completely furnished and equipped rooms"), outdated bathroom (vs. pictures on the booking.com); breakfast not included in rate (vs. "Start your day with a good complimentary breakfast"), in short....deceiving!!! (Quotes are from booking.com)
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very welcoming and helpful, the room was big and had a fridge, free WIFI and a balcony, all of which are important to us. It was a 10-15 min walk to the lovely waterfront and town centre and the property is only a 10 minute drive to the airport. We had a very early departure so didn't experience breakfast but it was a good place to rest up before a flight. There was a supermarket close by too (2 min walk) which was very handy. Would recommmend this guest house to anyone and thought it was excellent value for money.
Cons: No
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The owners were very helpfull and also provide a lift back to the airport.
Cons: The dining room was a converted garage without windows, just metal shutters and an up and over door. Cleanliness of the rooms could certainly be improved.
7,2 Good
Pros: Was very nice breakfast. Very good owner and his family!
Cons:
4,0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: bad coffee during breakfast!
2,8 Mediocre
Pros: It was close to the bus stop to get to Dubrovnik.
Cons: Our room was not particularly clean on arrival and was not cleaned in the 3 days we stayed there - even the bins were not emptied. The room where we had beakfast looked like the front part of a shop and had no windows, just pull down shutters. There was building work going on in the next room too. It was the most unwelcoming dining room imaginable! Also, in the description of the hotel it said it was in a quiet part of town. It is actually right on the main road into Cavtat and was very noisy. It is acout a 10 minute walk into the main town and coming back it is all up a very steep hill!

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome, picked up and dropped off at the airport, great staff , very helpful, spotlessly clean accommodation, spectacular views (rooms 31and 33) . Great choice for breakfast . A great place to meet fellow travelers. Christina and Dean are extremely helpful and informative. All in all I would highly recommend anyone to stay here .
Cons: The hill back up from Cavtat centre is very steep , but there is a bus service (one stop only ,that drops you 2 minute walk to hotel) or a taxi that costs 50 kuna
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the friendly owners, great rooms, great atmosphere. Wish we stayed longer.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Castelletto really is a delightful place to stay!It is away from the busy town centre but close enough for the beach, harbour, restaurants etc to be reached within a short uphill walk. We did it twice a day and welcomed the opportunity to walk off the extra calories we’d consumed! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by Dean, Kristina and their lovely staff and they were always on hand with advice to help us to make the most of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and it seemed genuinely important to them that we had everything we needed to make our holiday enjoyable. The hotel itself has many different areas dotted around where you can go for a change of scenery including sun beds by the pool, shaded seating areas, sun terraces, balconies and a tv lounge. None of these areas were ever crowded or noisy and offered an oasis of peace and quiet which was just perfect. Our room was comfortable and clean with a fabulous view of the bay. The buffet breakfast was always an enjoyable experience with lots of available food options and attentive staff who ensured everything was topped up and dishes were promptly cleared. We found this a great time to chat to other guests and pick up tips for the day ahead. Should we return to Cavtat, we would not hesitate to book again into this lovely, friendly, comfortable hotel whose staff really do go the extra mile. We really did have a perfect time - thank you Dean and Kristina!

Pros: The air conditioning wasn’t working in our room which meant we hardly managed to get any sleep. So hot and humid. The lady at reception was apologetic though and offered a carafe of wine to say sorry. We only stayed for one night before flying back to the Uk. The location for Dubrovnik airport is great. The hotel is situated right in the town which was lovely, but very noisy from our room as it was closest to all the restaurants and bars.

Pros: The staff. Mikayla especially, so friendly and helpful. ✨✨✨✨✨
Cons: It could do with some TLC. Eg showerhead loose, curtains off hooks etc. But still very lovely
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great room with balcony and easy access on foot to everything as it’s so central. The staff were very helpful and friendly and tended to us well when one of our children was sick. Good breakfast.
Cons: No parking, so we had to trawl suitcases quite a way and then up the flights of stairs as there’s no lift. The door onto our balcony was broken, and couldn’t be locked, which was a concern for safety for a family room. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location and very nice and helpful staff. We had a nice room with balcony and sea view towards the main place.
Cons: Unfortunately it was not mentioned that the parking is a public parking which costs extra - discount for hotel guests is applied. Given the room towards the main place it was noisy at night. The wooden bed makes some noise when you move.

Remisens Hotel Albatros - Cavtat - Building
7
8,2 Excellent (1 050 reviews)
R1 862+
Overview Reviews
The Remisens Hotel Albatros (4*) is located right by the sea in the fantastic surroundings of the town of Cavtat. This four-star hotel, completely renovated in 2018, is the ideal choice for a quiet and fun family holiday by the sea. The newly refurbished rooms have been decorated with special attention to detail to guarantee a pleasant stay for guests. Some rooms offer an undisturbed view of the sea, others are located on the side of the building, and all offer the peace and quiet that you need. In addition to refurbished rooms, from 2018 the hotel also features communal areas that have been renovated, as have the restaurant, wellness centre, and indoor pool.
6,7 Good
Cons: Small rooms Lunch and dinner very poor selection Especially if you do not eat pork then you have to eat fish every day
7,9 Good
Pros: Location was excellent, staff very pleasant and helpful, room was clean.
Cons: The food. Lack of air conditioning in gym. People not adhering to dress code for dinner and it not being upheld by the hotel.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: It was open.
Cons: It hasn't been updated since the Soviet era. The room wasn't particularly clean. The bathroom was atrocious. The amenities left us wanting. I wouldn't stay here again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Food, staff, location, pool, air conditioning, proximity to airport.
Cons: I understand that this is a family hotel so expected kids evening entertainment. However the evening adult entertainment from about 9pm to 11pm was more like a 2 or 3 star Butlins experience and was truly awful. So much so we left hotel every evening during that time. Ideas of sitting on our balcony in night time disappeared. Shame because everything else was great. Food was lovely but you needed to schedule early meals or get crushed in the crowd.
7,1 Good
Pros: Comfortable hotel in an excellent location near a small beach. An enjoyable walk into the town of Cavtat.
Cons: Generally very noisy. During the day various workouts and games played in the pool, but worst was the infantile so called entertainment til 11.00 at night. Food, worse than mediocre there was not a hint of local dalmatian dishes, pickled veg has never been part of dalmatian cuisine. At least you would expect the chef to know what fish he was serving. On arrival it should be essential to provide a bottle of water in the fridge. It is clear that someone is cashing in on a great location offering very little quality.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Rooms were clean but overall choice of food was limited- could only get food at certain times. Others I had stayed at had snacks available throughout day.
Cons: Staff didn’t seem to know what to do in certain situations. Snacks only available for couple of hours through day and they ran out! All seemed to be about money and making sure they were charging you for everything possible! Got my booking wrong - said I should have checked out day earlier when I had confirmed booking. There are definitely better places to stay than this! Would not recommend at all!
7,1 Good
Pros: Small hotel with a quiet environment, close to Cavtat. Direct boats to islands and dubrovnik. Hotel renewed recently and confortable.
Cons: Food is good but could be slightly better. Snacks during the day are limited and could be more diversed (especially for children). The outside of restaurant is very nice but inside is more like a canteen. A bit of refurbishment would make it much better
5,1 Okay
Cons: The reseption lady was rude.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: The price of 270,00 for 1 night....
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The cleaner for our room smiled and was excellent.
Cons: Other than our cleaner, no other member of the hotel staff ever smiled, none ever seemed happy, neither were they ever helpful or accommodating. All staff from reception to the pool security were frequently confrontational to all guests
6,7 Good
Pros: Hotel was good. A big variety of food. Food was really good and hot!
Cons: It doesn't look that room was renovated in 2018. It looks much worse... and paintings done are really bad quality. Even i could paint walls much better :) sometimes it was a bad smell in a bathroom because of drenage. Furthermore, coffee was awful!!!! We had all inclusive but bartender made coffee not with coffee machine but instant coffee. Every time he went to other room and brought coffee. Proper coffee machine was by the bar but he never made good coffee. Taste was really bad. Hotel has a gym but no air condition. No curtains on windows. And the sun was shinning straight to my face when I did sport. Snack bar is open from 10 am but actually no snacks. Only ice cream and apples. Also I missed more variety of fruits during breakfast lunch or dinner. Mostly apples, oranges and kiwi.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Execellent location - beachfront. Stony beach but that’s what we expected. 10minute walk into Cavtat. Boat to Dubrovnik just outside hotel. Entertainment team excellent - lots to do and staff great. Food - plenty of choice. Lots of pork dishes but lots of choices at all meals.
Cons: No cocktails in all inclusive package.

Pros: Super nice staff! Good location close to the airport if you have an early flight or if you arrive late at night
Cons: Seems like the room hadn't been cleaned, there were stains and hairs both in the bed and in the bathroom
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are brand new at the upper floors and spot clean. The owners are very friendly and so helpful. Would recommend the place for his qualityy/price. Also a local bus stops a few 100 meters from the place brings you directly to Dubrovnik old Town number 10 or 16 by the way. The airport is a 35 minutes walk way it you can even take an Uber for 40Kn or local bus.
Cons: Nothing!
2,9 Mediocre
Cons: I was really unhappy about my room. The window was broken and people could easily enter the property. There was a lack of towels for showering, only small towels for hands. Nobody offered us any breakfast in the morning. The television was not working. My family and I were really disappointed.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Refurbished room everything new and very clean, also very quiet and close to airport which was good for us as we arrived on a late flight. Bus stop just down the road for visiting Cavtat and Dubrovnik
Cons: No toilet paper or towels in room, my partner had to get them out of laundry room himself, the toilet paper we took from the room next door which was empty also no soap in dispenser in bathroom, we told the owner and he was very apologetic, also sheets not tucked under mattress so all crumpled up every time you turned over. Shame about these little things but do annoying
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the owner is the most kind and smiling person in all Croatia and his wife cooks delicious home made food with vegetables from their garden. They are so helpful and easy going, i definitely recommend to stay here rather then in dubrovnik.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great view from the room in a peaceful neighborhood close to hiking trails and close to the bus station to go to Cavtat and Dubrovnik. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The window in the bathroom could not be opened. There was no kettle in the room for some hot water for tea or coffee.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, spacious, clean and the bathroom was a great size and very clean. Host was very friendly and unfortunately we were unable to eat during our stay here however, the host had an open kitchen and the local cuisine looked and smelled great.
Cons: There was nothing that we were unsatisfied with.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location. It's close to the airport, convenient for late arrivals. Period.
Cons: We chose Country House Pansion for its location (which is good, a 5-minute drive from Čilipi airport in Dubrovnik) and its late check-in, but we never met the staff: keys were on a desk in reception when we got there, with a handwritten note with our name and room number in the top floor. The next day, we left the keys back there, because no one was around. I don't know if they are undergoing renovations, but rooms look unfinished, like half built (windows without frame, materials hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, etc.). For some reason, there was a wooden crib in our room (?). Functional place, just to sleep a few hours and keep going.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location 2 km’s from airport and was decent value at $30 EU. Aside from this very basic 2 star facility at best. I had a double room which was 2 singles side by side with extremely basic/limited furnishings; kinda sketchy in appearance actually and I stay in hostels routinely. Needed a place to crash before flying out early a.m. so served its purpose as a solo dude.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The proximity to the airport was perfect for us. A short 5 minutes ride.
Cons: Very basic rooms

9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice stay. I wish it was easier to get a bed at the beach. It was near impossible before 6pm. It might not be the best place for a solo traveler such as myself. However, Dubrovnik and Cavtat are just gorgeous, so they have an excellent location.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was handy for a motorcycle trip- can avoid the restricted town centre but outside the hotel could be better cared for, the car park was a bit of a mess. Walk into Cavtat is nice. Room was comfortable but the sea view balcony I paid extra for was rendered pointless by eye-height frosted perspex blocking the view when you sit down!
Cons: This is primarily a package holiday hotel, it's very busy and the reception is almost permanently packed with people on an all-inclusive deal hanging around the bar. The organised activities outside have really loud and intrusive music and tannoy, pointless as there were about 10 people stood a few feet from the entertainers. This can be heard all over the hotel complex and ruins the peace. The staff seemed utterly fed up and disinterested, couldn't raise a smile between them. I half don't blame them but.. Breakfast was busy but not bad, like a very busy canteen, lots of people pushing to get to the serving areas. People smoking in rooms and corridors even in No Smoking areas.
7,9 Good
Pros: A wonderful location right by the sea and within easy reach of the airport and the little town of Cavtat. The room and beds were extremely comfortable and clean but the bathroom was on the small side.. Food was generally good with plenty of choice. (We were not fully inclusive)
Cons: You couldn't see over the balcony or through the panels. when sitting down

Pros: On the beach hotel with sun beds included. Beautiful view od the sea from the restaurant terrace.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Good Location. Lovely balcony. Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness could have been better (particularly bathroom - long hairs on the floor over the whole stay). Not enough seating in the main bar area (this is because it also serves as a lobby). Staff were not overly friendly or happy. Lots of large groups which made seating for couples difficult. Everything is centered around the lobby bar which is too bright with no atmosphere.

Pros: Close to airport Close to town
Cons: Tons of people, not much staff Food was HORRIBLE!! this place caters to large tours.
7,1 Good
Pros: landscape, the beach and the property itself .
Cons: Lack services close to the beach, like waitress serving us (we were even willing to pay for it).
7,5 Good
Pros: great seafront location, basket of fruit in our room, really lovely room - very spacious
Cons: Mealtimes were very disappointing, far too busy and disorganised. We were given no details of the local area, hotel or activities when we checked in.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautifully located on the seafront a short but lovely walk away from Cavtat centre. We experienced glorious sunsets every night from our balcony and from the restaurant. The evening buffet and breakfast were very good indeed, with lots of choice and with lots of the food prepared by the chefs in front of you. The swimming in the sea in front of the hotel was enjoyed greatly by my partner. Very close to the taxi boat to Dubrovnik
Cons: The room was small particularly the bathroom . It did seem a bit crowded at times, I probably wouldn't want to stay in the height of the summer.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location and the view
Cons: The staff was not friendly and welcoming, especially the young lady DORA in the reception she was offensive and very rude. The payment must be in local currency and it that means you have to pay more than what is in booking due to the exchange rates. For accessing to the rooms we had to carry the luggage’s because the elevators are far, they’re also very small
