Very airy, beautiful riad with the signature palm tree. Good location - short walk to the medina but not so in the middle of it that it gets confusing or dark/dangerous at night. Amazing breakfast - excellent coffee, good pastries, fresh orange juice, yoghurt. We got early check-in too! Much recommended for a couples retreat and other stays.
While the French owner and all other staff were amazingly nice and accommodating, the one senior staff member (male) came across rather abrasive. When asked for directions to the main square he asked "do you know the way?" to which we said "well we wouldn't be asking you...". But this is rather minor. The wifi only reaches the central area but works very well.
The Riad it's very quiet and the staff was fantastic, very friendly, very kind always smiling and nothing was too much for them, big Thank you to Rasheed he helped us to book excursions and transfers he was amazing!
Great location and a beautiful Riad. Very close to everything and also quiet to relax from the busy Medina.
Breakfast is rather sweet (typical for Morocco) and only served in a room rather than on the rooftop terrace.
The location was excellent, as I was already aware, really really close to the Badi Palace. The Riad was very comfortable with that typical Moroccan decoration that I truly love. We loved the shower. The staff very welcoming and helpful.
The breakfast could have been better. I would have loved for example some explanations regarding the different moroccan breads or the jams that were part of the breakfast and I would have really appreciated if they changed for example 1 product everyday, to get a bit more of variety. I would have also loved a special welcoming with moroccan tea, for example, as I experienced on another Riad that I have been before.
Immediate cash payment required for 'welcoming tea'. We never experienced this in other riads...
With a stay at Riad Palmier, you'll be centrally located in Marrakech, just a 3-minute walk from El Badi Palace and 8 minutes by foot from Dar Si Said Museum. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
