Hosts are amazing! Very hospitable and welcoming. It’s hard to find with the alleys but I believe that’s most of the places there because of the way their streets are set up. The dinner is delicious and you can pick for a selection and it’s home made by the owner. We had an issue with our card being used in Africa and she was very patient and open to all solutions without experiencing any frustrations. Great suggestions for tours and other offers.
She arranges transfers from the airport - a real bonus in the Medina. Of any evening you can relax in the Riad with a beer or glass of wine which was quite unexpected in a Muslim country. We were made so welcome.
Nothing ! We had an absolutely delightful week at the Riad La Perle.
Finding this place was rediculously hard. there is no sign on the hatch doorway in a darkened very low and narrow laneway. Needed to pay local guide to find who was threatening when 100 euro was not offered for ten minutes help. Parking was impossible to find and seemed very unsafe for our hire car..open air dusty area with cars getting pushed around to access other cars. Booking.com needs to explain the arrangements and difficulty of staying in Marrakech mesina.
No sign on door. No advice on where to park. No support from owner when guides were threatening for vastly excessive payment.
I can not think of a single positive thing to say about this location.
After extreme difficulty finding this riad I decided I did not feel safe staying here. When I called to ask for help to find it the owner could not or would not assist. We were forced to pay a kid to show us after he said he worked for the riad (he did not). After I checked in and left my bag I decided I had to find a better situation due to the location, poor lighting and the constant harrassment by local teens. I received a lukewarm reception from the owner. She could not assist in finding her place other than to say she would open the door a bit so I might see it when I got close. It was in a tunnel area with no lighting. There was no signage for this riad (even at the door) while a dozen other riads in the immediate vincinity had signage. I had to assume this was an "off the books" operation. The courtyard was cluttered and they patching and painting walls. The soaker tub in the photos is in the courtyard... 10 ft from where you eat and are received. I was shown to my room but given no key. No info about wifi. I felt totally uncomfortable and was sure I would get lost if I left!!. I moved into Road Chams with a friend and the reception was totally different. Gracious, served tea immediately, assisted with booking tours and travel to airport, and other activities. Provided help with luggage, was well signed. Provided laundry service etc. This may sound like I am a high maintenance traveler but not true. I am an independent middle aged woman who frequently travels solo. I understand customer service because I am a Airbnb super host who hosts people in my home.
Nice authentic place to stay with an amazing owner who made us feel so welcome help with and catered to all our needs, we had the 4 person room which was comfy and clean with balcony overlooking the court yard. Also had a delicious breakfast every morning would definitely stay here again.
