Cons: Sofa bed for couch. A bit noisy at night given shuttle service offered. Reception not ‘manned’ when delivering or picking up from airport - sign goes up to say back in 20 mins. No-one at reception when we checked in or out. Otherwise basic as expected.

Cons: Room was smaller and much less than advertised. Was a bath in photos and description, no bath in the room. TV barely worked. Took a deposit that was worth more than the stay. Took 2 days for money to get back into my account.

Cons: The reception staff need to be really re-trained. It was the most peculiar situation I have come across. The bus person is also the receptionist. So you call for the bus and the receptionist has to drop everything and run to the bus and pick you up. I arrived at 9 at night the person had no interpersonal skills whatever. Next morning same thing, the receptionist had to drop everything to run to the airport with people so that people who had questions lining up at the desk had to wait for him to return from his trip... very odd. They are out to make money without the warm friendliness of the NZ people. A bit hard to take just of the flight from Australia. Out in the sticks no place to by any food at all..

Cons: I checked in the room, looked around and immediately decided to leave the hotel without worrying about the money I paid for the night. Experience was horrifying. Terrible bedding, super old creepy furnitures & wide open windows looking up trash!

Cons: Stairs - having to carry 25kgs up and down the stairs was not great. Window was broken so could not leave it open. Fridge was noisy and the seats dirty and in need of a clean. Upon arrival I was told I had to leave a $100 deposit. As I told them there was nothing to this effect on the website and did not pay it. Menu in the restaurant is burgers and chips, I was expecting a better menu selection.
