I was expecting a nicer hotel for the money. It was more of 3 /4 star at a 5 star price. Having said that the room, bed and bathroom for the executive room was very nice. Very motel style lobby.
Not that I didn't like it, it was just expensive for what it was. Breakfast was average.

It was not a five star experience. We were not picked up although I communicated for more than 1 month with the manager. I used the spa and there were cocroaches there.

Hotel Jen Male Maldives formally Traders Hotel was rebranded by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in January 2015 as part of Shangri-La initiative to introduce a new style of services to today’s traveler.
