I am very disappointed in the value for my money
The view is wonderful and hotel was clean and cozy
I didn't like the fact that we were charged 100$ for a massage in an awful spa! False advertising as a 5star when they are a three star hotel maximum! Our massages we later found out were given by the gardener and the housekeeper! I'd like to file a complaint as when I said we were unsatisfied, the front desk manager just shrugged her shoulders and offered us nothing.
The staff was excellent! They were courteous, professional, and very prompt. We were made very welcome immediately and the service remained until they dropped us off at the train station to leave. The location is perfect for visiting Machu Picchu and is conveniently located close enough to the town to sight see but far enough out not to be overly crowded. The food in the restaurant was amazing in taste, quantity, and display. The concierge was very helpful whether it was getting tickets for Machu Picchu or booking the cooking class. Every member of the staff treated my wife and I as if we were the only guests in the hotel. It was that kind of personal service where they even took the time to learn our names prior to talking with us.
I really can't think of anything bad to say about or stay at the hotel.
