If you are ok with risking your vehicle getting damaged on this property with absolutely no recourse from the hotel, this is the place for you. It’s unfortunate we’re required to give a star at all to post a review because our experience definitely yields zero stars but nonetheless, here is a recap of our stay. Few weeks ago we were in town to go to a concert and rather than drive home late, we decided to stay somewhere close to the Greek theater. We opted for this place since it wasn’t too expensive and rather close to the venue. About 30-mins after checking-in, we find out a homeless guy walked into the unsecured parking lot and broke windows on 3 different vehicles. Mine was one of them. After speaking to various agents at the hotel, they advised that the individual was “known to the staff, he would visit the staff frequently, seemed nice, and even brought them snacks, so they’re surprised he acted in this manner this time”. The police were called, reports filled, and no issues there. By now it’s pretty late Saturday night so there aren’t any window repair places open so we ask for garbage bags and tape to at least cover up the hole on my brand new car, at which point they hand us very small and thin trash can liners (used for the small waste basket in hotel rooms) and scotch tape…… you would think when the damage was done on their property to three different cars, they would at least go grab some actual trash bags and sturdy tape but I guess that’s asking too much customer service from this crew. We ask to speak to the owner to see what can be done for the damages and were advised they’re out of town but we can email them. Sent the email right away and waited a few days to hear back but no reply, so called the hotel. The owner was still out of town so chatted with the general manager who said “they have a sign posted in the garage they’re not responsible for any damages”. I advised the GM that since the person responsible for the damages was known to the staff,
Nice hotel, clean. It’s right near the metro (tube) stop so was so easy to get to Hollywood blvd and other places, plus it’s only $1.75 for any distance journey!
Breakfast time is a bit crazy as there’s hardly any tables and there wasn’t much food left each day when we went down (didn’t go down super late). It’s a small room so appears really busy even if there is just 14 people in there. Other than that it’s a really good hotel!
The location is great for anyone looking to use the metro as the station is just next to the hotel. There is also a big supermarket and diner close by. Rooms were nice and modern with comfortable beds. Staff were helpful and accommodating.
Can hear the rooms next door or above on occasions when being loud, the breakfast was not the best, some oats and water/hot water would be great additions. Had to ensure we were up early to try and get any of the hot breakfast as would run out quickly and not a lot of seating for the amount of people the hotel accommodates.
Leo is very good person and friendly Thx
The hotel was great, clean, nice and new, the bed and shower were wonderful, the staff was excellent, however, breakfast was adequate. Off street parking was nice, overall an excellent experience. I recommend it.
The surrounding neighborhood was extremely edgy with homeless laying around, dirty sidewalks and weird people.
