The location and staff.
The room was not up to par and did not meet our expectation.
It is well situated and well appointed
The management. The best measure of a hotel is when things go wrong not when everything is going well. During my stay the water supply was cut off. Despite the management knowing of the cut they did not tell their guests (computer letter under the door would have done). I had to wash down in the sink with water heated in a kettle. I complained 4 times. At no stage did management approach me to apologise. No discount was offered (other than a 60p bottle of coke). They could have claimed from the people who had caused the water issue and discounted their inconvenienced guest, but no. Management is reactive not proactive and actually don’t care about their guests issues It is a basic requirement to have hot running water when you are paying circa £400 a night. I don’t recommend this hotel and will never stay again I am a spire ambassador member of IHG and a lifetime gold card member of Bonvoy (Marriott ) so I know how good hotels should be run.
It was a calm and nice atmosphere
Is that when j arrived I didn’t have any drinking complimentary water
Perfect blend of classic charm and modern dynamism run by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
Location size and friendly
Our suite room 75 was right over the underground and from 6 in the morning and up to midnight there was train every 3 mins so not very restful ! ! !
