Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, especially for access to the cathedral and castle, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast received high marks for variety and quality. However, many reviews noted that the hotel and rooms are dated, with frequent mentions of tired decor, worn carpets, and bathrooms in need of refurbishment. Cleanliness issues were raised in several reviews, particularly regarding carpets and bathrooms. Despite these drawbacks, the overall atmosphere and service left a positive impression for most guests.
