9,6 Excellent
Pros: Efficient welcoming, with clear instruction gave with a smile, and little extra advices really helpful (what to see, where to eat,...). Very clean and comfortable room. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, a must when you travel as a couple. Very well located, walking distance to the historic centre.
Cons: Located on a busy street, with free parking on the road but don't expect to find a place. The hotel has 4 parking spot in their garage for 10€ (I recommend to book it in advance), but it's pretty tight and tricky to park there...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly, offered me sweets (it was Halloween), the place was spotlessly clean and well appointed with a large comfortable room and an excellent breakfast.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Room adequate. Electric shutters a plus. Bathroom good. Parking fine excellent for short stairway to reception Area at night uncomfortable to walk around. Fairly quiet with unsavory characters in the streets
Cons: Had to carry bags up stairs to reception. There is a lift to the rooms but doesn’t connect to the parking Only CNN channel in English Breakfast although basic misses certain cereals and fruits. Few choices to put on bread
8,3 Excellent
Pros: We were given an upgraded room and it was excellent. The sauna-style shower was spacious and effective, once you learned which control was which.
Cons: Only CNN as an English language TV channel.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean Hotel helpful staff
Cons: No Restaurant
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and tidy nice continental breakfast great and polite front of house staff. Clean spotless rooms
Cons: Rooms too warm and air con too noisy no parking unless you’ve not reserved it in advance. A little too far from the centre of village.

There, you'll find comfort and friendliness in an elegant setting. Near Limoges station, this hotel offers 29 rooms and a private, pay-to-use garage on site. Its lovely outdoor terrace is a chance to make the most of your stay in Limoges.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly attentive staff
Cons: A longer walk than expected to town Centre
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the hotel were fine, polite and helpful. We had (very) limited french and so were grateful for the staff's ability to converse in english. On a rainy evening when we were going out a staff member even went down to the garage area to get us an umbrella to loan. The hotel decor has a modern feel and is nicely done. Without doubt the best thing was the cleanliness of the property - it's spotless, never seen such a clean hotel, even the sink drains are highly polished chrome! We would be happy to stay here again if we return to this area of France.
Cons: We found the location a little away from most of the bars, restaurants...having said that they could be reached in about 20 mins walk. There were one or two closer than that. Also found the streets around by a little 'dark' and quiet but this may have been more to do with the time of year (Oct/November). The hotel is in a fairly residential area. The hotel didn't have a restaurant or a bar though could provide bottled drinks in the evening by request. Car parking is available but at an additional cost - all the info is available on the website though so you know before booking. As stated above though, we would be happy to return here.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely welcome from Christophe. He gave us info about the local area. Great underground secure parking. There was on road parking available. Lovely (purple themed room) and super bathroom with bath. Plenty of TV channels in English. Comfy bed. Quiet surroundings. Excellent choices for breakfast. Close to a great shopping centre.
Cons: All good. No view but no necessary.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Room excellent. We requested a walk in shower and got one. Large bed and very comfortable. Shutters on the window for a darkened room for sleeping. Staff all very charming and helpful. Very good continental breakfast.
Cons: The handrails on the stairs had been removed. There was a lift so that wasn't a problem, although we do like to use the stairs when possible.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast Excellent room Parking available
Cons: Located in a slightly run down area of Limoges
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, helpful hotelier. Excellent tea selection at breakfast. Glad to have choice of bed coverings. Very comfortable bed even if narrow single.

Pros: The lighting in the room was beautiful and i just loved the picture above the bed, I would love one of them.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent being only 10 minutes from the autoroute. The family room was superb offering excellent floor space and comfortable beds with lots of storage space for cases etc. The restaurant has now changed from a Buffalo Grill to an independent called Le Willys. Similar good tasty fare but perhaps a little less variety.
Cons: Access to the foyer would be difficult for disabled clients and the lift was faulty.
7,5 Good

Pros: Pleasant peaceful location adjoining the golf course, easily found from the motorway. Staff very helpful in helping with an emergency for which we were most grateful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every year I have been going here twice for the last 5 years and it never disappoints. Rooms are clean, shower/bath are good, staff is friendly, breakfast has all the necessities (croissants, jam, cereals, milk, orange juice, etc...), excellent coffee and the parking is ideal for travellers since it is right outside your room. Situated next to a golf court, any statements about noise are superfluous. Definitely recommend it to everyone!
Cons: It could have been for free ;p

Overview Reviews
See hotel page Close to major roads, The Originals City, Hotel Arion, North Limoges offers a choice location for both pleasure and work. Brigitte and Bernard Brissaud make every effort to give you a good night's sleep. The comfort of their fully equipped rooms, private car park, elevator and seminar room awaits you, not to mention the gourmet breakfast featuring local products.
7,0 Good
Pros: Great location for easy access onto the highways around Limoges. No traffic to contend with. Comfortable rooms
Cons: More wider selection for breakfast. They only serve continental breakfast.
7,5 Good
Pros: Situated on a retail/hotel park just off the motorway on the outskirts of Limoges, this hotel is handy for stopovers. There is some traffic noise from the motorway in the rooms at the rear of the hotel but the electric shutters help with this and it’s not a big problem. Rooms are what you’d expect from a decent budget hotel - very small, basic, clean and with a comfortable bed. There is a Court-Paille grill a minute’s walk away, and a handful of other chain restaurants and bars so you don’t need to drive to eat and drink in the evening (the hotel does offer bar service in the lounge area). The self-service breakfast was better than in many other hotels of a similar category. A good value stay for the price we paid.
Cons: Our stay began badly when the member of staff on reception could find no record of our booking and had to go into the booking.com system to retrieve it. We were allocated a twin room instead of the double we’d booked. She said this wasn’t the first such issue she’d had - she was fortunately able to give us what seems to have been her only remaining empty room (the “full” sign appeared at the entrance after we checked in). She was obviously annoyed at the problem, but was kind enough to try her best to sort everything out and honour our promotional booking rate, and we appreciated her help in making sure we had a bed for the night. If there is an issue with the booking.com system communicating with this chain’s own system, this needs sorting out.
7,9 Good
Pros: simple hotel outside of Limoges next to many others, with carpark, located near highway connection and in a commercial/shopping centre area. Simple but good enough for us and our two kids. We want to be all in a same room and that's not always easy to find. Kids bed was a sofabed, good enough for them, in a corner with their own TV! Everything seemed quite new. Toilets and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was good enough. Usual suburban reastaurants within walking distance (Leon, Pizza, etc.). Shopping centre with McDonalds 4 minutes drive away. All in all simple but good enough. Considering one room for the 4 of us, good enough for one night.
Cons: We had everything we needed, but the environment is not a holiday area : highways, trucks and commercial warehouses and retail, 10/15 minutes away from Limoges center.
7,1 Good
Pros: Clean and comfortable, Bit noisy at nite but no more than any other hotel on a trading estate, Young last on reception nice and helpful, Nearby restaurants nothing to write home about .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very Comfortable and would rate this hotel at 4 star. In a good position just off the main route from Calais to our onward journey to the south of France.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: location, car park free
Cons: breakfast expensive
7,0 Good
Pros: Basic hotel but ideal location for the traveller being close to main A20 and Limoges, plus very close to a selection of restaurants and bars so ideal for a short stay / stopover.
Cons: Wi-fi although free was complicated by continually having to log back in and only allowing one device per e-mail access otherwise nothing to dislike!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location for motorway. Room clean and bed comfortable. Reception staff excellent. Free car parking.
Cons: Bar prices very expensive.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport and we were there for three nights, the staff are very helpful and accommodating in solving a problem even though it was not their responsibility to do so. The facilities and the quality of fittings such as toilets and showers were exceptionally good, especially so given that this is a budget Hotel and the breakfast was the best I've found in any other similar chains in France. The French ladies that serviced the room did an excellent job, I will definitely use the The Originals City hotels again.
Cons: I'd prefer more substantial pillows but I've had a lot worse

8,0 Excellent
Cons: CORRECT
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and nice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A great hotel in the middle of Limoge.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't have breakfast. Car parking convenient. Not too expensive. Reception staff very pleasent and spoke v good English.
Cons: Nothing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: A very pleasant stay. Friendly reception staff made booking-in easy. The car-park is underneath the hotel, and it looks as if it could be difficult to find a space if you're late arriving. The hotel faces the main railway station and our good-sized room overlooked the railway, but was quiet and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was first class, as was the breakfast.
Cons: The approach to the hotel is a little off-putting, but easy enough. Trust your sat-nav, even if it seems to be taking you into the station car-park. Air-con didn't work, otherwise a good place to stay.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Everything

Pros: We didn’t have breakfast as we were leaving early but it looked delicious
Hôtel de Paris - Limoges - Building
8
8,5 Excellent (547 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hôtel de Paris places you in the heart of Limoges, within a 15-minute walk of Church of St-Michel-des-Lions and Limoges Cathedral. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building. Excellent central location. Splendid balcony. Great breakfast choice and quality. Charming host.
Cons: Standard rooms are a trifle small but we knew that on booking. A bit hot without AC on a warm night.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The decor is very appealing. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a view into a pretty courtyard. We asked for a quiet room, and it was quiet. The lighting was good, also. The room was minimalist, but allowed the 19th century architectural features to show through. A gigantic antique gilded mirror was the only exception to the otherwise clean lines of the room, and it added the perfect balance.
Cons: The bathtub/shower design is very poor and unsafe. This is not just at this hotel, but at others where I've stayed in France. I am an older person in pretty good shape. I can't imagine how a less stable older person or someone with a disability would be able to climb over a two-foot high tub without a grab bar, and remain standing up stable in the curved-sided tub while showering. I can only wonder how many people decide not to bathe at all rather than brave one of these kinds of fall traps.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Stylish original property which has just been refurbished with great care right by a lovely public park and very friendly hosts.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality was really nice and it gives a great plus value to my stay here!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful owner. We liked the decor. The hotel has lots of character and is in a great location to explore Limoges. We all had an excellent stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The position and parking space in front of hotel with just 1.5 Euro for full day. Very comfortable rooms and very clean. The owner very helpfull and friendly. Recently renovated and very quiet position with great view.
Cons: Breakfast did't have much choises. So this might be something the owner should consider upgrading.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!!
7,5 Good
Pros: The welcome was great - we were offered a cup of tea, and advice on a good restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The whole hotel has been recently restored, with great care and style. I particularly liked the colours chosen for the decor.
Cons: I would have liked a door on the shower 'room', leading off the bedroom . Perhaps a sliding door, to save space? The double bed was really too large for the room, a smaller one would have been sufficient.
Hôtel Les Bénédictins - Limoges - Building

8,5 Excellent (172 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel Les Bénédictins in Limoges, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Musee National Adrien Dubouche and Church of St-Michel-des-Lions. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Limited parking is available onsite.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great little hotel right by the train station. Nice clean room and good shower.
Cons: No aircon but room wasn't too hot in very hot weather.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean and comfortable with basic facilities for drinks and a good buffet breakfast. I particularly liked the location which was very near the station for my ongoing journey and it was great to have a beer on arrival in their cool courtyard. The proprietor did not speak much English but was very kind and helpful and kept my bag for me until my afternoon train on Saturday while I explored Limoges. Worth others noting - Limoges station has no left luggage facilities!
Cons: No air conditioning but at that price I wouldn't necessarily expect it
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to train station
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very conveniently situated and easy to find, the staff were really kind and helpful and the room was well-set up and spotlessly clean. We were able to leave our bikes securely locked in a courtyard. The manager is really friendly and helpful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was great value and the location was excellent; right next to a beautiful park with fountains and people dancing, and then streets with restaurants going towards the old town.
Cons: For the price I have no complaints. It wasn't as salubrious as the Mercure where we stayed before but we want to rate this place well :-)
7,5 Good
Pros: I liked that the room was big, warm enough, the bed was comfortable, and fairly quiet. Wifi fine. Everything was reasonably modern and worked well. On the other hand I found nothing to eat in the vicinity in the evening, or the next morning! The area felt unsafe. Not the hotel's fault! The hotel had no reception though, it is basically hotel rooms above a cafe / betting shop / bar. You go to the bar / shop to get the room key and then you are on your own. I liked quirky Limoges.
Cons: Room was a bit stuffy, and windows couldn't really be left open due to noise.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good price quality ratio. Close to city center. We had the most quiet room, other rooms are on the noisy street side. Breakfast basic, but for the price quite good.
Cons: The hotel is on a busy street. As there is no airco, you need to open the window for some fresh air. Our room was terribly hot and noisy, so we asked and got the room om the more quite side. This was much better and we had a good sleep. The hotel is in the close vicinity of the railway station. For us, it was a stop over on our trip to Spain. I would not pick this hotel again.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness. New taps in all this mess make a nice different.
Cons: I have no idea where this 8,5 score comes from? New towels through out on bathroom floor. Soap dispensers empty, colors of the bathroom and woodwork from 70tiies. Door you h the carpet so. Much you can bearly open it. Carpet dirty. Etc etc. Staff speaks only French. I know is France but come on.... Light on corridor starts after 5 sec crowling in darkness to knowwhere. Shower is so small that the curtains glue to the back when you try to use it. Towels rail hanging half way from the wall. I did expect something different for 50 euros..... honestly Sorry guys long way to go to improve that.....

5,4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was ok Room was comfortable and a reasonable size Staff were nice and helpful
Cons: Swimming pool area was not very clean I saw green mould on some of the bread that was put out for breakfast Food was not great, we had lunch and dinner there as well as breakfast Kids food limited and we ordered fish and chips... which is not served with chips :)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: BRILLIANT BREAKFAST; COMFORTABLE ROOM; HELPFUL STAFF;
Cons: EVENING MEAL; POOR MENU SO I ONLY ATE IN ON THE FIRST NIGHT
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the swimming pool and lake. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent! The room was very clean.
Cons: The budget cardboard coffee cups and flimsy plastic tumblers that are provided. Awful!
7,1 Good
Pros: The personnel was very helpful, very friendly, especially at the reception! Dinner was tasty.
Cons: Over the course of 10 days they were more and more things missing at the breakfast. The "room with lake view" was more like a "room with roof view and a little lake view behind". Network was somewhat unstable. Although the restaurant should have regular lunch it was closed which is particularly difficult for someone without a car (there is nothing around there …)
6,3 Good
Pros: Room was spacious for us and our dog. The area around the hotel was great to take the dog for a walk. The hotel had access to a computer and printer. Room and shower was clean.
Cons: The staff were unbothered and I would like to say rude but just didn't seem to care. Breakfast was mediocre, I would find somewhere else. We were certainly treated differently by some staff. ( the most polite way to put it) Bring bottles of water.

Pros: Very central
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, easy to park, not too far to town centre. Staff in hotel very nice and room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, ,continental style but plenty available. Recommended. We enjoyed staying here.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is very conveniently situated for visiting the city centre, or if travelling by train. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast choice was basic but adequate. Car parking charge was only 5 euros, which was very reasonable for a city centre hotel.
Cons: The room was a bit smaller than I was expecting, and the carpets looked a bit tired. No evening meals were available.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Goog breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: It would be much better if electric fan could be available.
7,3 Good
Pros: The help that we received from the staff in booking taxis and restaurants
Cons: No dislikes
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Family run hotel - owners were delightfully helpful and genuinely interested to assist with maps and points of interest around town. Room was spotlessly clean and generous breakfast served in charming breakfast room. Location was very handy to rail station - easy walk with luggage.
Cons: We enjoyed everything about our stay.

5,0 Okay
Pros: The hotel was clean and tidy in a good location
Cons: The internet connection was poor and at the time there was no telephone line to the hotels rooms. Not sure if this was just one of those things at the time but it did not help from a business point of view
6,6 Good
Pros: We returned our hire car and caught the train toParis airport
Cons:
5,4 Okay
Pros: Owners were friendly. OK if one spoke French, so OK for us. B/fast a little dear!
Cons: Happy with initial stay in ywo bedded room. However made booking to return 4 days later for same. However offered one bedded room. had to move elsewhere at additional cost
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly, despite not being able to speak any English. My schoolboy French is disasterously bad, but we persevered, had a laugh and everything went fine. Room was lovely - a nice compact size with a lovely comfortable bed. Shutters blocked out light and ensured a good sleep. The area was very quiet, despite being about 10 mins walk from the centre of town and 4 mins from the railway station. Free WiFi. Breakfast was basic but typically French in nature - croissant, baguette, jam, yoghurt, tea, coffee and chocolate. The lady owner was very keen to ensure that I had had enough when I got up to leave the dining room which was lovely. They looked after my bags for two days - the days before my stay and after.
Cons:
6,8 Good
Pros: Very warm and professional welcome; nice decor (wallpaper tasteful, plants effectively used); personal attention to needs of our children (orange juice instead of coffee); information on where to eat and map given with information on location of restaurants. Excellent customer service and attractive lobby.
Cons: Ensuite to the room was very small; location was poor without secure parking (car was left parked in road still containing most of our luggage not needed for an overnight stay).

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff at check in, good location for walking into the old town and a comfy bed.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Modern, clean and inviting. Could not fault this hotel it was perfect for a weekend stay within walking distance of the centre and excellent value for money. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet.
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Evening staff were lovely but the morning lady was abrupt and we felt like we were imposing.
Cons: No signs to explain different parts/areas of the accomodation.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, equidistant from the old town and the station. Breakfast is good, and the staff helpful, friendly and competent. Bar prices (always an important point!) are very, very reasonable for a hotel, and the 10% off voucher for the restaurant next door is a welcome bonus.
Cons: It's hard to find something to criticize. Possibly the breakfast could have had sausages. However, it's an indication of how good the hotel is for the price and location that this is *all* I could come up with!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very happy, after a 600km drive from Spain, to find a spacious, clean and bright room overlooking the hotel's central garden/courtyard. Plenty of unpacking space and connections for computers. Good secure parking garage. The building has clearly been built to modern standards and is generally acoustically insulated and therefore commendably quiet. However, the between-room walls are apparently timber-framed (not masonry) as evidenced by the fact that we thought the couple next door in room 223 were actually coming THROUGH the wall during their several bouts of sexual activity, the latest one being at 3.45 am. We woke up on every occasion. Despite this problem, if Campanile Hotels are all to this standard, I shall seek them out in future.
Cons: The high level of noise and vibration coming through the between-room wall during the 'action' on the bed in the adjacent room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent central location. Friendly, professional staff. Safe underground parking. Good breakfast. Restaurant next door.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was better than expected - I was slightly concerned that it was near the station, but, despite a torrential storm, we could see there were some pleasant parks nearby. Reception staff contacted us very efficiently when they found a left-behind ipad in our room. (This meant a 50km turn around for us!)
Cons: Because of the storm we had to eat at La Boucherie next door to the hotel. This was, as you'd gather, a very meaty restaurant and I'd have preferred a wider choice of dishes. Pleasant and friendly staff, though.

Pros: We were given an upgraded room and it was excellent. The sauna-style shower was spacious and effective, once you learned which control was which.
Cons: Only CNN as an English language TV channel.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The lighting in the room was beautiful and i just loved the picture above the bed, I would love one of them.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent being only 10 minutes from the autoroute. The family room was superb offering excellent floor space and comfortable beds with lots of storage space for cases etc. The restaurant has now changed from a Buffalo Grill to an independent called Le Willys. Similar good tasty fare but perhaps a little less variety.
Cons: Access to the foyer would be difficult for disabled clients and the lift was faulty.
7,5 Good
Pros: A comfortable hotel in a commercial location. Easy to find and vacate. A very comfortable room with all the usual facilities and a good restaurant on site. Plenty of parking

Pros: Great location, spacious room.
Cons: Lights in corridor didn’t come on when we left our room so we had to walk in the dark.
7,5 Good
Pros: Convenience for overnights get stay
Cons: Had to move rooms due to no air conditioning in first room allocated. Had to request pillow and extra bath towel as room only equipped for one person. Had to request a 2nd cup for coffee. Yea & coffee making facilities provided but had to ask for coffee as there was none! We’re given 2 x sachets of coffee only!
7,5 Good
Pros: Handy location and price.
Cons: Décor & road it was on
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet due to double glazing Clean bathroom and great shower Nice little hotel for an overnight stay Rack for the suitcase Were given a town map Had air con but we didn't need it Kettle in the room - asked for a 2nd mug which was provided along with more tea bags and sugar
Cons: It was raining - not the hotel's fault :-)
5,0 Okay
Pros: The hotel was cheap, but you get what you pay for. The room was a good size with a little balcony (not big enough to sit out on) and triple glazing prevented any road noise. There was a small lift.
Cons: Outdated decor in our room and common parts (not sure if other rooms have been refurb'd - if not, they need to be!). The chain on the room door was broken and housekeeping came into the room at 9.30 (check out 11am) without knocking. Car Park needed to be pre-booked at an additional cost which we didn't know, so we didn't get a very warm welcome on arrival. It's a good 20 minute walk into the old town and there didn't seem to be anywhere local for breakfast/meals/drinks nearby although there was a shopping centre just across the road.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value, very helpful friendly staff
Cons: The towels

Pros: If you need a place to stop the night before continuing a journey on the train, this is a good option. The room was simple, but clean and cozy.
Cons: I cracked my window at night for fresh air but someone two floors below was smoking out of their window so the smell entered my room. I assumed the hotel would be non-smoking. Maybe you need to be specific about being in a non-smoking room if this is important for you.
