I was there for 1 week. Good tv channel selection. Generally staff were friendly. ....
Staff seemed to be sleeping at the reception an awful lot. Day amd night. Night i understand, but daytime when i am giving my key in the morning is strange. Bugs and insects in the room one night. Had to sleep in the tv lounge. They don't give extra supplies of toilet paper incase the role runs out. The breakfast was a real mixed bag. Some days prepared but in a random wat, and when it is more communal, they don't keep it fresh. I went at 8.30am and there were basically scraps, which they saw and didn't do anything about. I only had breakfast there when desperate. Better to look for other options in the cafes close by. Shower takes an age to get to a good temperature. Then they have the balls to ask me to ask me to pay extra for some pieces of toast i asked for when sick. Fridge made a horrible noise every 30 minutes. Not nice at night so needed to unplug. Then from 6 to 7am each morning there these banging noises from somewhere. Not sure if it was from the morning shift arriving or neighbours but lasted the hour and each morning. They made up the room in different ways each time.
Personnel very friendly, Nicely decorated in peruvian style of the 19 century. Huge amount of scrambled eggs for breakfast. No aircon but ventilator. Quiet location, for me ideally situated but for tourists most likely a bit far from attractions.
Most sockets are not suited for European plugs.
Very helpful staff, great location, good value for the money in Lima. Sheets and towels are changed every day which is really nice.
We stayed for 6 nights, the breakfast was nice for the price but a bit repetitive and already closed at 9:30. Maybe it's unreasonable to expect it for the price, but I would have really enjoyed a coffee maker in the room.
