Drop off was fine.Fox needs to Pickup/Deliver directly to the Airport or move operation to McCarran Car Rentals for PU/Dropoff to accomodate customers better/faster.

drop off was easy, and the car was stableI signed up for a JEEP- when i got there - only 4 suvs were left and they were Mitsubishi. NOT What was advertised and promised to us. Overall disappointed by the lack of professionalism and willingness to help us get the Jeep.

I was told by the employee at drop-off that the vehicle was dirty and would require a $75 fee. There was no damage to the vehicle, and the issue was with dust that had accumulated during our hiking. We were told that the fee was necessary because Fox would need to devote exceptional time and effort to cleaning the vehicle. My wife and I then proceeded to bang out the carpets with our hands, despite being short on time, and removed 90% of the dirt that way. The associate then agreed that the car was not worthy of a cleaning fee. So if we were able to sufficiently clean the car in less than five minutes with nothing more than our hands - why would a Fox associate say it required $75 extra? Vacuuming the car is a service I expect will be included in the price of rental. Nothing destructive had happened to the vehicle. There were no bodily fluids or chemicals or anything else that wouldn’t have come out with a simple vacuum and a wipe-down of the floor area. What this suggested to me was that Fox tries to sucker-punch its customers with exploitative fees as they are struggling to make their flights because they expect that we will have limited time to fight the charge. Even if we had left a hard-to-clean mess, the fee of $75 was totally exorbitant. It would have been almost 50% of the total rental. Associates need better training as to what constitutes a destructive mess versus something that can be cleaned with a simple wet cloth and vacuum. As I said, if we were able to “fix” the mess with our hands by banging out the carpets, it’s clear that this wasn’t something worthy of a $75 charge. This experience came after we had to replace the first car we got off the lot because of a slow leak in one of the tires. We also had to deal with extremely long lines during pickup and aggressive sales tactics. The whole car rental industry seems to be geared around screwing customers out of every cent possible, and Fox is no exception.

didn't care for the transmission on the Jeep Compass , some weird manual - automatic..wasn't in drive most of the time , had to keep checking because it was reving to high , The fuel tank was very small , only holds about $30 dollars if completely empty , made it a little harder to drive over 2000 miles , but just a bad pick on my part vehicle wise .

Easy checkin and checkout processThe Toyota Sienna we rented out was perfect for our needs. The maintenance light did show up, and we needed to get it checked out at Firestone as instructed by the help line. That process was easy enough, and we were compensated a day off our rental for our trouble. When we turned in the car 3 days earlier, and the checkout process was easy enough, with the discounted days totaling 4 days off reflected on the bill. Definitely would rent from Alamo again, for their reliability and ease of processing.

This meant having to remove all headrests and carrying our luggage I've 4 rows of seats to place them in the last row. The lady who helped me in Vegas was a gem. I was returning home from a trip to NC. My connecting flight to LA had been canceled, it was almost 11pm and the airline couldn’t reschedule another flight until two days later. Lines were long, patience was short and there was a lot of confusion. I tried not to stress. While I ate a quick bite, I made a swift and easy reservation online with Hertz, found my way to the airport pickup area and was helped by a wonderful lady. Even got an easy upgrade to a Mustang. (What I have at home). If there’s a way to look up who helped me. She deserves much appreciation!!! It was a pretty bad situation in the airport with several flights cancelled etc… The kindness at Hertz was much needed and appreciated!

It took Hertz in Las Vegas over two hours to get us a car after our pickup time and we had to cycle through 3 different cars before leaving the lot because the ones they gave us, upon leaving we were told "were not part of the rentable fleet and needed to stay to be sold" (okay, then WHY are you putting us in them in the first place?!)... It was an incredibly frustrating experience and nobody knew what they were doing. And we ended up paying over $100 more for the car that they gave us than we were initially quoted because we were duped into an upgrade that we did not ask for.

I didn't like anything. The worst rental experience I have ever had. They will not communicate with you. I basically would have had to cancel my trip if I didn't take the car they provided. Not the one I needed. Got a flat tire. No spare and no way temporary fix the flat. Didn't have the tires on the car that they said they had. Run flats nope no run flats.Tire was taken car off Now the car hasn't been returned for 10 days and No communication. I dropped off at the correct time. So they are charging me for it sitting daily. I wasn't in an accident. And yet mysteriously they don't answer phones or reply to emails.

They did not have the car I reserved, which wasn’t such a huge deal, more a disappointment. What was really upsetting was that I had requested two toddler seats to safely transport my 3 year old twins for 4 days. I even called the week before my trip to confirm that they would be able to accommodate and the confirmed that they would. When I got to the counter, I was told that they only had one booster seat available. When the supervisor ELIZABETH was asked how she expected me to drive with children if the seats weren’t available, she shrugged her shoulders and said “well, one of them could use this booster seat.” The customer service was horrendous, she didn’t offer any suggestions other than to go find another car rental dealership, and was dismissive of child safety laws. I will NOT be using this company ever again.

The sales rep tried to downgrade me to a worse vehicle than what I paid for. I had to bring up my purchase receipt to prove that I should get the correct vehicle. The rental was several hundred dollars more expensive than I was quoted. I do not understand why but will call to correct the issue

The first 3 cars I chose, I could not check out because they needed oil changes. The staff was rude, and refused to take blame that they didn’t service their cars in time. My trip was delayed as a result of it. I had to choose the car I didn’t want. I wound up wasting more money on gas and being uncomfortable. The car wasn’t even cleaned prior to being checked out. I rent cars often, and I have never experienced anything like it.

What could go wrong renting a car from Dollar? A lot. Had to wait close to an hour for the shuttles to take us to the car rental area- by the time we got there the counter was closed. Most of the other rental places in the airport have virtual check in or other counters cover the check ins after hours- not Dollar. We were lucky enough to get a refund after complaining but ended up spending twice as much for a rental elsewhere because we had to book it at the last minute due to this debacle. I will never again rent through Dollar. Please be wary that if your flight is delayed or you also have to wait for 3 shuttles due to a crowded airport- you may be stranded like we were.

This trip was a complete nightmare in some aspects (mainly flights), but Dollar held our reservation even though we arrived a day late, and had booked through a third party. You can’t imagine the sense of ease I felt when the Dollar agent confirmed it reservation was still valid. Arriving in Vegas at midnight, wit ha family of four, and not knowing if you have a car is a bit stressful. So thank you!! The bad: this could totally be because we didn’t book direct, but the confirmation number I got from Priceline would not work online at Dollar.com nor on the phone. Therefore I was unable to quickly look up or modify my reservation. That would have helped immensely.

I like the easy process for the car rental and the tip from the agent about using the crosswalk to go to the rental hub to prevent any accidents. Maybe less push from the agent on getting pre-paid gas or insurance. i said No the first time and do not like to say it multiple times after the agent tries multiple times to push the pre-paid gas and extra insurance.

Had booked car for date at 7pm. Since we picked up car at 829pm, the paper showed that information. We asked the man at counter about when we need to return. He said it's 24 hours so that it will be 829pm. When we pick up the car and asked the lady at the pickup counter she said that it was what was printed and that it was 7pm return. We mentioned how the man had explained about 24 hours but she again said that what was written was that 7pm pick up time that was the one they look for and that ii need to go back and change that information. So we did went back and that man then said he will take care of us and the lady later. He reprint the form with the new pickup time as 829pm. So if we did not go back for the change and had return Ed the car after 8pm, will we be charged extra?.

Car was overall clean.The counter was not manned in LAS when I went to pick up the car. A sign was posted stating to go to Advantage which made us wait almost an hour because there were only two workers at the counter. Compared to other rental companies, only Advantage/EZ Car had a long line/wait.

Car was kinda clean? Drop off was ok but signage was non existent. Just happened to see someone walking down the road. We stopped and asked for directions and the person said we were lucky to stop him because he was the budget agent and was just leaving. So if we didn’t stop to ask directions we would probably still be trying to drop off the car!!

I rented a jeep Cherokee because i was having a toad trip with my wife an they gave me a Mitsubishi with no car play and had 35000 miles on it, much much more than any other car i rented in my life, didn't enjoy the trip and im thinking on never rent a car in payless

There was one worker. I understand everyone is short handed but there needs to be a more efficient way to pick up your car. There was trash in our car under our seats from the previous renter. Clearly you aren’t following covid cleaning protocol.

Rental place was closed at the time of pickup. Had to take an Uber to the hotel after tipping $20 to the driver of another rental company (Fox rental that drove us to the car pickup lot from the airport. Worst experience ever! And, I travel quite a bit. Never booking a car rental through Kayak again and will tell everyone about it.

DO NOT BOOK WITH ACE! For starters they are not at the large rental car place. You take the shuttle from the airport to the large rental car facility and then have to take another shuttle about 8 mins away to a shady looking building/parking lot. We go in to pick up our car at 10am and are told they don’t have one for us and they don’t know when one will be coming in. They won’t upgrade you to the lot full of cars they do have because they say they are rented…well then, where is the car I rented?!?!? They told us it could be hours before our car came in and would be ready. We wasted at least an extra hour and then we’re scrambling trying to get back to the rental car building with all the reputable companies to try to get another car booked. We of course had to pay more to get the same car on such short notice. NEVER AGAIN will they get any money from us.

The pick up process was long and arduous. Taking 2 shuttles to get to a very sketchy rental car place in the back of an abandoned parking lot did not instill confidence. The car had a ticking noise when driving but I was not going back at night to this place to complain. The car was not clean upon pick up and agents clearly do not believe in keeping up with COVID protocols. I will say the shuttle drivers were great and friendly… they get an A+. Everything else… “D”. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Good value; cheapest van rental available by a considerable amount.Van had not been cleaned very well at all when we picked it up. The inside windshield was so dirty it was hard to see thru it when the sun lite hit it. There was melted chocolate in the luggage compartment. The cup holders and storage areas in the front had not been vacuumed or wiped.

The staff was helpfulMy issues weren't with the rental place. My issue was with Kayak. I reserved a vehicle. I wanted a minivan. Everything I saw on the Kayak site looked and sounded like a minivan. I ended up renting a 12 passenger van. That's crazy! I had to get another car last minute. It took a lot of time and was more expensive than planned.

Nothing. Terrible, awful service.After leaving the airport, you take the rental car shuttle to the main rental facility. Then, you have to wait behind 40 people all waiting for the single 15-person Economy van to take you to their facility 2 miles away. I took a cab since I didn't want to wait an hour. At the facility, you wait in a long line while their extremely slow systems check in customers. Then they give you the keys, you walk 100 feet to find your car, and you have to return to the counter for them to check over the car. WASTE OF TIME and TERRIBLE VALUE. Never, ever, ever use this awful company.

Great customer service, Rommie waited for me to get off the bus at the RentACar and helped me into my audi A4 quick. Easy, no hidden fees, everything was upfront on the app. The drop off was easy too, Jonny got me to my bus stop after checking in the vehicle, again they were fast and made it super easy. Pleasant customer service agent The rental company loaned us two coolers for use during van rental period without charging for themOne of the seatbelts in the front row of the van was not working and self released a number of times, putting the passenger at risk. By the time we noticed it was a repeating failure, we were too far away from the rental company to return to exchange for a safer van. We were able to rearrange seating to ensure all our passengers safety.

I had to call to cancel the booking went to dollar rental rented a car for twice the amount and was charged a $55 fee for a late cancellation. Didn’t have car that I requestedThey tried to give me a car similar (but also not available) and let me choose out of the available cars which were all Nissans..That I booked a convertible 3 months in advance and then I come in and they said it won’t be returned until tomorrow... the least they could’ve done was call me and give me a refund so I could go elsewhere... paid for a premium car got a Nissan and a free tank of gas
