Staff was great from the first day to the last. Especially when our flight home was cancelled just a day before check-out and they let us stay in the same room for an extra night, even though the hotel was sold out. Location was also good, two minutes from the wonderful beach, and in walking distance to the centre of Lagos, even for six years olds. (The taxi back cost just five euros so we used that option in the evenings :)) There is also a bus going to/from the town each hour until late. (The same bus goes all the way to the famous Dona Ana beach as well!) The room was spacious with a nice view of the pool area and sea. As some have stated before, the furniture may be a bit dated, but everything worked well. It is not new, but it is very well kept. Beds were good too. The pool area and garden was also nice. Not too crowded either.
Smaller details really, but the keys to the doors were a bit worn, which was a bit annoying. The cleaning was overall very good, but I wondered why they didn't seem to do the floors. Just a quick swipe would do wonders and make it perfect.
So close to the beach, groceries, town.

I liked the fact that the hotel is very close to the beach, 2 minutes walking distance. I also think the pool area was very good. The staff were super friendly and their response to the issues we faced was prompt.
It isn’t very clean in general. The bathroom, the floor and the kitchen utensils weren’t very clean. The room service is not friendly at all, and they only take the trash out, did the beds and gave us towels. No floor mopping, no bathroom cleaning nothing. The ceiling started dripping water in the middle of the night, this happened two times, then they decided to move us to a (smaller) room and gave is 15% of the paid amount back.
Stayed in a studio apartment with a sea view. Staff were extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble! Lovely pool area with a great view of the sea.
Hotel quite a way out from the main part of Lagos - a good 20 minute walk. Kitchen in studio had limited facilities - could only make a snack.
