Pros: The property looked recently updated with a very clean lobby. The breakfast selection, even tho grab and go due to Covid was the most variety I’ve seen. Nice size rooms with comfortable beds.

Cons: I booked 2 rooms and came right at check in time to have one ready and asked to come back later for the other room. I came back 5 hours later to hear my room was still dirty and I needed to come back in another 30 minutes. There were a few other guests that were also coming in for 2 queen rooms with the same issue. We were told by staff that we couldn’t be upgraded to a king room because the manager wouldn’t allow it and that we just needed to wait. Staff claimed that housekeeping was backed up. A 5 hour wait when I had already checked in a room is ridiculous. I’ve have never gone to a hotel where I booked in advance and I had no room ready to walk into.

Cons: I arrived to check-in and the receptionist was on the phone, didn't acknowledge I was standing there for at least ten minutes. She finally decided to let me know she was on the phone with her boss. After she got off the phone she told me that they didn't have any rooms available. I told her I had a reservation and then told me that housekeeping fell behind and that it would be at least an hour before they would have any rooms clean. She was very nonchalant. I left and came back about an hour and a half later and she said they still didn't have any rooms available. However, my card had already been charged before I even arrived to check-in the first time.

Pros: Breakfast was different compared to the normal which is understandable, very limited. However, just have gloves for residents and let them serve themselves like the buffets are doing. The hotel seemed to have taken a turn for the worse. My last previous stays the room didn't feel clean. It's always dusty and I don't feel comfortable about the comforters on the bed, especially with the pandemic. Please have the workers take pride into their work and do a thorough cleaning and spray it down with lysol or some type of disinfectant . Not sure if ownership changed or what for it to be this way.

Cons: Dust just check the lamps & etc.... The room and comforter didn't feel clean and the pillows was terrible I kept waking up with a crook in my neck.Lol

Pros: Great! The only little detail is that breakfast is very limited in variety. A little bit of more fruit and cottage cheese would have been ideal for me! Other than that, you even have a Nespresso machine which to me it’s even better than Keurig. Very good deal.

Pros: I loved everything about the town surrounding the hotel. The beds were soft inside the hotel, very comfortable. This is about the only nice thing I have to say about the hotel. Will be visiting the town again soon, but WILL NOT stay here.

Cons: We originally booked the hotel for it's indoor pool AND separate hot tub in the pool area. When arriving at the hotel, there was no hot tub like the pictures on the site. This was a big disappointment since this was one of the biggest reasons we even booked with them. Also, their breakfast is outrageous. $10 a person, you have to make almost all your things yourself. The only decent thing we seen on the menu was the omelets so we were willing to pay the money just to have an omelet. When getting to the window to place the order, the chef told us he is not cooking omelets right now because he was semi busy. We got out of line completely and went eat somewhere else. We stayed out of the hotel as much as possible the entire weekend

Cons: This hotel is very noisy. We were on the first floor and the noise from above and surrounding rooms never stopped. We had family staying on the 2nd floor and they said the same thing. My daughter became ill (not from the hotel) and upon having to clean up in the middle of the night I discovered just how FILTHY the carpet in the room actually was. Stayed in a double room and listed 3 adults on the reservation. We had only two towels upon arrival and were only given 2 for our second day even though I requested an extra.

Cons: People in the room next door played music, laughed and talked. No louder than anyone would. We could easily hear the music, the talk, and the laughter. It was almost as if they were in an adjoining room rather than the next hotel room. We stay in many hotels and these were the thinnest walls by far. It was annoying and kept us up late at night.

Pros: Bed was comfortable.

Cons: The management refused to grant a 2pm late checkout even though I was very sick and needed to stay in bed until my co-workers could pick me up. I would have been happy to pay a late checkout fee, but the general manager insisted on charging me another full day's rate despite the fact I left at 2pm, and plenty of housekeepers were still in the hallways, cleaning rooms. Very inflexible under special circumstances when a little kindness and understanding would have gone a long way. I won't stay here again.

Cons: Front desk clerks were snobby, unconcerned, and generally dismissive. There were a lot of unexplained drunks during our stay, and requests for policing their destructive behavior was frowned upon. We were treated as the inconvenience instead of the belligerent party animals. They were running up and down the halls, healing at each other, and rambunctiously changing rooms. Completely uncalled for considering the audience this hotel advertises to...

Cons: Being bottom floor, when requested ( and paid additional) for room up high viewing river. We viewed the river and people walking by, smokers etc. So no open drapes. I accept partial blame for not going back up to desk and asking to change it. Must have been the 400 miles we drove! Pool area seemed dirty, unkept, while many in pool; needed hosing off, etc

Cons: The mirror in the bathroom was hanging off the wall by one screw. The bed was broken. Had to sleep on the one side. The box spring was on the floor.

Had to clean and lysol everything upon our arrial because it just didn't feel clean. The bathroom shower/tub looked and felt as if we were going to fall through when we stepped in. Overall, the rooms need some MAJOR remodeling! Definitely not a comfortable stay for sure. Lots of weird ppl coming in of the street into the lobby for the free coffee.

Cons: When I had a question about the bill and called the local hotel and got Linda in accounting she was very rude! She immediately had an attitude and talked to me as if I was lying. Bad customer service!

Cons: How you walk in on the second floor and the access to the rooms is ducked off by the elevators.

Cons: My toilet would not flush, my shower would not drain and the phone did not work to call the front desk for assistance. When I went down to speak with the manager, she said I'm sorry but there is nothing I can do just call where you booked and complain about us then maybe they will give your money back. They did not offer me any way to resolve my inconvenience nor did they send anyone to the room to verify my complaint. I'm glad it was just an overnight stay.

Cons: Room cleaning staff is in need of improvement. There was some hair in the shower and they only cleaned slightly during our stay. They made one bed sloppily and left the other unmade. The hotel was under major renovation so access was slowed to the entry and elevators, but it will be great when it's complete.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice bar, there was live music the one night which was fun. The room was average, there are a few bars/restaurants within walking distance. Overall good experience, and I got free cookies when I checked out!

Pros: Our room was nice. It was well updated, quiet and clean. The staff was courteous and the maid was sweet. We did have to change rooms since we stayed an extra day, but it was little stress.

Pros: The staff were very courteous, although at times informal. The room was clean and spacious with the standard furnishings you'd expect. Breakfast was delicious- HUGE portion sizes- quick service.

Cons: This was for an anniversary weekend, so I paid extra for a riverview room. At check-in, I was told they were over-booked on King rooms and I was asked if I'd rather two double beds. I asked if it was possible to keep my original reservation of a riverview room, I was told that wouldn't be an issue. We get upstairs and find a lovely view of the parking lot. Go back downstairs, address the situation with the front desk, was politely told there were no King riverview rooms available (despite having a reservation for one). I pointed out that I'd paid extra for the view and was told there would be no refund nor any sort of compensation. She gave some feeble statement on overbooking and attempted to divert the conversation to area attractions. I attempted to explain how reservations work/ethics of compensation when the product purchased is unavailable. In the end she smiled and played dumb and we paid extra for a view of a parking lot.

Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodated my request my second night.

Cons: I reserved a room a few months prior to my visit for a non-smoking room. When I arrived the hotel did not honor my request and gave me a smoking room since all the non-smoking rooms were taken. I guess a reservation holding certain options doesn't hold much wait. My clothes smelt like cigarettes the next day. Not cool.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms..check out is at NOON which gives a little more time to rest...great place!

Cons: They don’t refund deposit which is very high for a long time. We have been out a week and still no deposit return. We stayed in 3 hotels that trip and all lifted after a couple days. Should not take 10 days or more!

Cons: I had to wait 40 min after my check-in time, due to the room needing to be cleaned,which I understood and was not mad at all, things happen, it’s a pandemic and if it would have taken an hour later for cleanliness I’m all for it. Cleanliness is keen. So I finally get checked in setting my room up and getting it comfortable for a nice Valentine’s night with my hubby to go into the bathroom and find the toilet with urine, toilet paper and hair in and on the toilet, not acceptable, especially after have to wait forty minutes for, so say the cleaning of my room. Although the bed was comfortable, I was uncertain that the entire room may have not been cleaned properly. Oh I must say I did address it with the front counter and someone was sent to clean the toilet. The janitorial worker apologized and admitted that she had just finished cleaning my room, so how you missed cleaning that nasty toilet. What else did you forget to clean?

Pros: We were there on a one night stay for a road trip. We didn't want fast food, which is what is close by, so decided to try the hotel restaurant. My daughter had the turkey BLT and I had the Thai chicken salad. The food was freshlyi made and surprisingly good.

Cons: I didn't appreciate the mandatory $20 incidentals charge. I know it would have been refunded if we hadn't used it, but it made me feel like I was not being trusted to pay for what I might buy.

Cons: I didn't use the Bistro but wasn't too excited that they didn't have a continental breakfast. Had I known that before making the reservation, I probably would've stayed somewhere else.

Pros: The new bistro was nice and the new key cards where you tap them on the door handle to unlock the door was nice. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was good especially since it looked like they were in the middle of renovations.

Cons: Storage containers in the front of the hotel taking up parking spots could have been put in the back of the parking lot. The renovations looked more like retrofits. The attention to detail on the finishing touches was not there. I felt like I was in a older business hotel trying to look new, young, and hip. The bedding was lack luster, basically a very thin duvet not in a cover and a thing decorative sheet laid over it. I also had a blood spot on my sheet. The headboard was two foam pillows in white pillow cases standing up against the wall. It reminded me of that infomercial for the pillow that blocks the space between the between and the headboard so you pillow doesn't fall behind the bed.

Pros: We love Hampton Inn for the cleanliness at this price. This place was no exception. Great room. We were upgraded at the front desk to accommodate or needs without any extra cost. Will continue to stay at the Hamtpon Inn every time we travel.

Cons: The breakfast here was not as good as the others we have stayed at in the past. It just seemed that the breakfast was an after thought. Still , was decent in spite of the downgrade.

Cons: The room was not adequately clean. There were towels on the floor and the floors were wet. The property was overbooked and I was "upgraded" to a pet-friendly "king suite".

Pros: Indeed a very large room for the price; a wide colomn in the middle of the room. Outside the place seems like a ghost hotel, quiet, desolated and high grass, but inside seems renovated at first glance (but not consistently everywhere though) Exaggerated fresh smell throughout the hotel, that is pleasant in the lobby but gets weird when it persists everywhere. I guess an okay place for a drive thru stay.

Cons: The pictures don’t match the actual hotel. Got there hotel is empty yet was told my room was not available gave me a double room. The lobby was dirty room was really dirty looks like one of the beds was not actually changed just remade. Horrible patch jobs in the walls stains on pillows and sheets. People yelling all night in hallway yet staff did nothing to quite them.

Pros: Surprisingly, The rooms were filled with all amenities. The front desk personnel were pleasant and accommodating. Theres a variety of snacks in the front desk area for those snacking moments--reasonably priced. I also like the privacy.

Cons: The problem was the cleanliness of the parking area. Access to the main office is a little tricky because of repairs to some parts of the driveway.

Pros: The location was awesome. Withing walking distance to everything you need. I also liked the storage space and dresser and nightstand, it has wings that fold on top of itself

Cons: I noticed immediately upon arrival that there were roaches, I seen one in the bathtub alive not even 5 minutes in the door. I also woke up with itchy bites all over me, (calf, thigh, arms, wrist, back and even one on my face. I don't know if it was any bed bug type of bite because they welted up but a pharmacist told me usually those are bigger, but still creepy enough to have me freaking out. Now onto my next issue, I explained to the front desk that I was leaving a physically abusive relationship and the person who dropped me off told him where I was, so I requested to be moved. Which never happened, instead I got a deep sigh from the receptionist as if I were asking too much or it was so much extra work to just move me. It's not and I feel like they should have taken that a more seriously. And FINALLY my last issue was that I locked my key in my room a couple times, all I needed was to be let in or given a new key long enough to open the door and find my old one. I had a lot going on in my life so I was a bit forgetful, never once did I lose a key but still, the same lady receptionist acted as if I were inconveniencing her and told me that the keys were expensive. To which I replied that I hadn't lost them any and I have returned any other keys that I had been given. Well the next time I lost one the owner told me I would have to leave a dollar at the desk when I use a key and I couldn't believe myself. I was so mad. Originally I was hoping I could have stayed there longer because the room was neat, lots of storage space but after I actually was there I realized that it may be a good rate, but they definitely got a lot of flaws that they should work on.

When I would go to walk my dog outside a man that was staying there also would keep telling me and my daughter how pretty we were (creepy)

Cons: The entire experience was horrible. I am an associate that works for the company and I had to go through hoops and rings to get a benefit that is eligible to me as an employee. I called the hotel several times to express that I was coming for my grandmother funeral and I needed two rooms. The manager never got back to me and when I checked in I was told that the fire alarm system was causing all types of problems and that she was overwhelmed by the problems. Upon checking in I was told to accommodate me that the 50.00 deposit would be waived. The stay was not a very good one considering I was there for a funeral of an immediate family member.
