Pros: Literally EVERYTHING! From the exterior to the gorgeously designed lobby and elevators, the room was perfect and the view we had was beautiful. I will always choose this hotel in Baton Rouge.

Cons: Value, & Parking: I am rating low on these aspects because while there was parking available, there was no security for your car. So, as it happened to some of our friends someone stole part of the cars while staying at the hotel. Value: for what they charged you per night it would be nice for them to include breakfast and also the last night there was so many people running and yelling in the hallway (7th Floor) Room 705, has a view to the freeway and to an ugly roof from a building next to it. :(

Pros: The room had no carpet, was super clean, great shower, barn sliding doors, microwave, coffee maker, desk, extra outlets for charging all of my electronics. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Cons: THERE COULD be enough towels for each day and the number of guests on the reservation already in the bathroom without having to ask, minor inconvienience and durbto the recent pandemic. This was our first trip to Baton Rouge, and it was for a funeral but we had a little bit of time to explore, so we also could have used some kind of information about transportation, things to do, places to eat and distance to those places, but that was also minor.

Pros: Very cute hotel in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge! I loved how it was obviously a pet friendly hotel right from the moment you walk in the door where a bowl of water and a bowl of treats is available for any fur visitor to stop and partake from.

Cons: Due to its location, you have to walk down the block in order to find any grass for your pet and parking situation is a bit confusing.

Cons: Our reservations got split up because of the questions on booking. It asked for the name of the other party for the other room, and I booked the room under my account so we/they were looking for the rooms under my name not there's. After we checked in. They found the rooms in the other party name and they apologized. Because they were trying to send us to a sister hotel.

Remarked about this to front desk, and the response was, "Oh. Ok.". There was no apology, no refund or credit offered. He did manage to send someone to fix toilet, but damage already done at that point. Decor and fixtures grossly outdated. Hotel and room cleanliness was poor. The hotel needs a complete overhaul and better staff training. Deplorable. Will never stay there again. Surprised at the condition and lack of good customer service for a marriott hotel.

Pros: It was convenient area surrounding different restaurants & stores so you didn’t have to travel far for good food. The room was really decent, cozy, and spacious.

Pros: My wife and I stayed for one night during a trip related to our move from Florida to Texas. We often prefer Marriott brands when traveling and have rarely been disappointed. We were also accompanied on this stay by our pet Bichon. The staff greeted us warmly and also upgraded our room on arrival. Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and a convenient location on our journey all made it a great choice.

Pros: The location was great! Rooms were big and the bathroom was roomy.

Cons: There were renovations going on which I was not told about when I called the hotel the day before to confirm my reservation. The outdoor renovations were "closed" down around 5pm so noise wasn't a problem. The problem was that they were updating some kind of wiring inside the hotel and there were wires hanging from the ceiling on my floor in lots of places, ceiling dust and wood was also all over the floor. This gave the whole interior a dirty, dusty smell and look. I may return once all of the renovations are complete, but I felt that the staff should have given me the renovation information so that I could have made the decision to stay there or not!

Fingers crossed it’s there :) it was a wonderful experience I highly recommend location is beautiful it’s near everything Starbucks and the capital building was a great morning thanks !

Valet parking is 29.00 a day but they don’t tell you that when booking nor is it included in the price luckily I found parking right by the hotel but it was still 15.00 and I couldn’t move the car for 24 hrs or I’d have to pay again but that’s not exactly the Hilton’s fault

Pros: The room was impeccable. The front desk, maid, luggage handler, and all phone reps were beyond friendly. I wish I had gotten their names for praise to the managers. Especially considering how busy they must of have been for the holiday, they went above and beyond. The view from our room (river) was perfect and the fireworks show from the pool deck gave me chills! The restaurant staff... Let's see. I placed a breakfast order to go about an hour before they stopped serving on July 4. All staff was wonderful, and I have no complaints. They went above and beyond. While the food was good (lacking much flavor, but cooked okay), the service got them a 30% tip on a to go order.

Cons: On July 5, I dined alone and ordered the buffet. My 'server' must have partied a bit too hard the night before. All she served me - without me having to ask - was the check, which she brought as soon as I got my food, right after I had to ask for my first water a second time. The buffet had a nice spread, but I guess she assumed that since she didn't have to serve my food, I wouldn't need service at all. I had to ask for refills twice more. She got a 10% tip, and I should have just given that directly to the busser. I was confused about the pool. They gave all of these rules about passes for guests, with it being the 4th. So, I followed the rules and turned 4 people away (my parents and their two out of town friends) from watching with us at the pool. During the show, we were surrounded by loud, obnoxious people NOT WEARING THE 'REQUIRED' WRIST BANDS. if they're going to set restrictions, they should stick to them. Obviously those who don't follow, will also tend to be disrespectful to those around them. Also, not the hotel's fault, I blame parents... The kids were in the pool ALL DAY splashing everyone. I know my mom wouldn't have stood for that. And maybe they should have someone by the pool making sure that all guests can enjoy the amenities, rather than just the children and the parents who used the pool as included childcare. Also, I found out later that the free buffet that was to be for paying guests was in the lobby and the staff said free food from 7-9. We all assumed it was by the pool since the wrist bands were for the pool area. So, we missed out on that and paid for the pool deck food, which was okay.

Pros: For my purposes it was the best location and the right amenities for an overnight stay. Property was well maintained and well appointed for the price. A good value. No worries.

Cons: the hotel room wasn't what i thought it would be. it did not have a microwave or refrigerator. i had an issue with the water running in the toilet. when i took the top off of the tank, i found a condom box inside of it. when i called the front desk to ask for a new room, i was told that i wouldn't be able to switch rooms. i asked to speak the manager. she was unavailable until the morning. morning came, and she was still unavailable.

And he wasn’t alone in the 5 minutes we had the lights off we saw three big ones. We were so freaked out we turned all the lights on and slept on top of the covers all night. I hate cockroaches! Worst night’s sleep in a long time. Gotta get rid of these bugs.

Cons: The smell of this hotel is horrendous. When you enter the lobby, there is a smell that attacks your nostrils. This place needs a thorough cleaning and an overall update. The staff is lazy and always have to be searched for. They sit around and chat as if they have not work to do. Security is a joke. I would never stay here again.

The bathroom floor was also sticky. The breakfast was two thumbs down. The hallways and common areas were just below par. Overall cleanliness was terrible.

The bathroom was moldy and nasty with other folks hairs of all kinds, stains all over the bathroom, dust on the Kleenex box and hair dryer that also had hairs on it. Hairs on the "clean" towels. Broken light fixtures with the broken piece just leaning against the wall. The bathroom door handle was disgusting, stained with splashes of something and sticky. The shower was nasty with mold, hair, and lime rust all over the shower head. The popcorn ceiling was splotched with darkness from being a smoking room in the past. Pieces missing of furniture. The stand alone chair was covered in stains.

Cons: There must have been a group of 40-50 individuals crowded around the front entrance while checking in, cars parked blocking traffic waiting to pick up employees. Later in evening, cops were called to break up the crowd. The employees seemed to have zero leadership and were there for a paycheck, when questions where asked to them the answers were short and rude. Once checked in, bathroom was dirty, hair and used dental floss on walls, mold appears to be around the top base of showers.

Cons: Investors in this hotel have apparently decided to mine this property and get what they can out of it without putting anything back. The rooms need updating badly, decor is old, beds old, carpet stained and torn. No HD TVs, old decor, dingy. You can tell it was a once proud property that is now just playing it out till the end. It will soon be another victim of poor ownership, poor management and lack of foresight. Its on a train track, so you will get a nice wake up call every morning.

Pros: Excellent Service above and beyound. Great place to stay by the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge on New Year's Eve. Access to downtown nightlife and fireworks! Going back. Really exceptional hotel for the price and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. Restaurants, music, great views. It does have a nice casino, but we are not into gambling, so there has always been plenty of other things to do at the Belle. They have concerts, entertainment and great live music every night on the deck overlooking the river were we often dance.

Pros: Very terrible stay.

Cons: For a casino hotel there was nothing to get excited about. The room was very bland. Not even a iron in the room. Mole was obvious in the bath room.

Pros: Old school feel, clean, comfortable

Cons: Place looks beat down. The casino is awful. Looks like somebody put slot machines in a shed. The elevators were dirty looking. The parking garage was awful.

Pros: The staff was always helpful with anything I needed. I always have felt that they are willing to do what they could to make my stay the best. I had been to The Belle on a previous trip & on this trip, I had actally booked another hotel in town because of a "deal". When I got to the other hotel, it was clean, but not at all what I wanted in terms of safety & overall comfort. Within 15 min, I called The Belle & had a room booked for the 10 days we were supposed to be there. Great decision...

Pros: Staff was friendly

Cons: Pool , restaurants and gyn were all 18 and older only. Beds were hard and what was suppose to be queen size was really full size.
