Only the location
1- Lighting of the room is too dull 2- Restaurant staff are totally careless 3- Room amenities are poor 4-
The staff is fantastic. Great views from the room.
No protectors on pillows and they smelled unpleasant. Shower door wasn’t cleaned for the duration of my stay
Great location. Fabulous facilities. Would easily be a £600+ night hotel if it were in London.
Upon checking in I was asked to pay a deposit of 100MYR per night for my stay (400 MYR total). I was told this was in case I used the mini bar, spa or any other of the "pay extra" facilities. I'll state now that I understand the policy but a hotel in China did this and I didn't get my deposit back until 3 days after my stay had finished, which meant the hotel had nearly £200 of my money for nearly 7 days. I stated that I didn't wish to leave the deposit and was told that they would have to empty the mini bar. I asked why and was told it was policy. I checked in and within 5 mins of entering my room a member of hotel staff turned up with a box and emptied the mini bar. I thought this was humiliating and degrading and there was no need to do it in the way in which it was done. They could have waited until the morning or when I wasn't in my room. I had already paid for the room upfront so they had my cc details. This has never ever happened to me on my travels before. Secondly, the hotel does operate a 24hr cab service through outside drivers. On two occasions I asked drivers to take me to Bukit Bintang and they refused. Saying I coukd walk it and they didn't want to get stuck in traffic. Its pointless offering a service (where the customer still pays), if the drivers are too lazy to do their job. I will say that these were "blue cabs" and throughout my stay in KL, I found that they drive the long way to destinations, ask for cash and turn the meter off and generally lie and scam. Be careful if you use them.
Staff was very kind, always at disposal. Breakfast was great with all varieties of food. There were no queues for check in or check out. Our room had a magnificent view on the Petronas towers and so we opened curtains just to enjoy the view from every corner of the room. I definitely recommend the hotel.
Everything was fine. There were some repair works in a nearby room so it was a bit noisy but only for a short time.
Registration to check in is too long before we can get the keys
