Far away from town. Not advisable to walk out at night
breakfast is rich and good. the toktok taking you to the beach is nice too
the shower is dumped and very uncomfortable. living in nature for the best and the worst - trees monkys beauty but a lots of insects too.
Excellent hotel, well run and with good facilities. Very good value for money. We stayed in all 4/5* hotels apart from this one but this one was our favourite in Thailand. It might be because our expectations were lower but it was well run and we never had any problems with any of it (we did in the other hotels). There were free transfers into the main resort and you could get them to pick you up to, we didn't bother because a taxi/tuk tuk back was only £1.
I always look out for a cheap deal & often use booking.com to get the best price for a hotel. I have started to realise that even if you book the 'pool side room' or 'sea view room' etc you tend to get the worst 'pool side room' etc if you book with a cheaper agent. I think hotels save the best rooms in each category for their own direct reservations & give the not so good ones to other agents. We did get a pool side room (ish). It wasn't on the side of the pool, but it was one bungalow away, and you could just about see the pool. The only other low point was breakfast wasn't top quality, the food was sat for the entire service (3hrs), wasn't always covered, hence wasn't very hot. There was always fruit and toast though so no major problem.
Probably the best resort we have ever stayed, uniqueness being it's natural beauty, excellent friendly staff, specially the Tuk-Tuk driver, very very close to nature. The rooms are quite big, excellent decor and cleanliness. If i go back to krabi this is the place i will stay.We had a pool facing room and it was like living in the middle of a jungle with modern amenities, such tranquility!!!! Even though it is a bit far from Ao Nang beach, the tuk-tuk drops you and picks u up within 10 mins, so no issues. Excellent value for money.Keep it up.
Nothing to complain about really!!!
Very quiet location and very private. surroundings were amazing and staff very kind.
