Pros: Travelling as a vegan might be troublesome at times but the owner put in quite some effort to make a great breakfast. (= Really enjoyed it. Since the breakfast is prepared for each room separately, I didn't expect as much. Also: Very nice and welcoming owner. Would gladly recommend to anyone else.
Pros: Amazing place! The room was spacious, with 3 windows and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was served in the room and contained so much food that I barely managed to eat half of it:) There was also a kettle + some tea in the room, as well as water. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with a shower and a bathtub. The location was perfect too: in close proximity to the city center and the sea.
Pros: Communication was very easy and fast, Ellen is friendly and down to earth. Location could not be better. The room is a bit small, but it's in the name 'kleyne wereld' and the matrasses are a 10/10. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend staying
Pros: Its a lovely place, you can fee like a home!!!

Pros: Excellent customer service and hospitality. Nothing was too much.
Pros: Great breakfast with lot of choices , very friendly staff, super clean. Best price value for money. I can recommended it to everyone.
Pros: I wish I knew that Dumplings were there for breakfast !!
Pros: The location was close to the main square and coast. Staff were welcoming.
Cons: Walls were thin and could hear the next door talking, stairs were also very steep and no lift as the building was old.
Pros: This property is right I the heart of the town in walking distance of all you could want and see. The rooms were cozy and clean and the breakfast delicious. On top of that, the staff go out of there way to make you feel at home. Highly recommend.
Cons: I loved it
Cons: Vegetarian options for breakfast.. the scrambled eggs were with the bacon
Pros: Nice location and the staff were pleasant enough. Good for ship spotters and nice walks along the sea front.
Cons: The TV didn't work in my room (room 1) and the curtains were slightly broken so wouldn't shut properly. Neither of these bothered me too much but could be better for the price paid.
With a stay at De Ruyter in Vlissingen, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Reptielenzoo Iguana and St Jacobskerk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: A great location. The areas that are completed are modern and clean. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
Cons: The workmen are still finishing off the renovation and started work at 8am. The fan in the ensuite did not appear to be working creating a feeling of damp in the room.
Cons: The room is incredibly small.
Pros: The room was spacious and the owner super kind. Didn’t have too much time to spend in this place but really seems like a quiet and homely place. And cause I had an early start and I’d have missed the breakfast, the owner went on his way to open the breakfast room for me a bit earlier than normally, so I could have a coffee and get a sandwich to go.
Cons: Found the tiles on the hallway but odd.
Pros: Nice Breakfast Very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Close to LF1 cycle route, close to supermarkets, shopping, restaurants. Good bicycle storage. Excellent breakfast with good coffee.
Pros: Nothing !! This hotel is not professional. They do not react to mail or telephone. I was 7 min too late for incheck and they totally ignored all my messages and the messages of my husband.
Cons: Communication is very bad, and not professional. I truly do not understand why these people run a hotel if they do not have any feeling for hospitality.
Pros: Very kind staff, the hotel is located in a really good area, there is an Aldi opposite the hotel, beach is just a minute by walk, city centre also,. Very quite place to stay. There was more than enough food for breakfast. You can have a coffee for free during a day. Thanks for caring and being so helpful. Reasonable price including breakfast. Definitely recommended.
Cons: There was anything wrong

Pros: Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. Location
Cons: Pool always occupied by children when we wanted it. Lack of aircon
Pros: there was big choice and good food to eat, various selection of drinks, fruits
Cons: hard to find cuttlery
Pros: The location is great! It's really close to the beach and has enough parking for your car. The buffet breakfast is nice and has a good selection. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Although the rooms are very nice, it's a pity about the soft mattresses and the bathroom and room doors that slam in order to close them. Also, it seemed like the swimming pool was being used for swimming lessons for children all day so we couldn't swim (also the parents of the children made some sarcastic comments about "too bad that you can't swim, hahaha" in Dutch thinking that I don't understand what they are saying, although that is not the hotel's fault). I think that the swimming pool should either be for guests or for lessons but both isn't working.
Cons: Bed was re smal!
Pros: The hotel is close to the sea, just over a dune. The staff is very friendly
Cons: The colours in the hotel are too dark. The lights in the hotel need to be renovated.
Pros: The staff was really nice. I arrived around midnight and the check in was very easy. Breakfast was excellent and there was a variety of options.
Cons: Nothing, all good.
Idyllically located on the beach front boulevard of Vlissingen, Hotel Restaurant Solskin offers spacious rooms and suites with panoramic views. Pros: The sea view and terrace is worth the extra money. Staff very accommodating to provide secure storage for our bikes
Cons: A little bit more dated than the photos portrayed but you can see work is being done to upgrade rooms such as new carpet and bathroom fittings

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Vlissingen? This hotel features 1076 square feet (100 square meters) of event facilities.
Pros: Good breakfast included in the room price. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: Not just in this hotel, but around the world it would be nice if they stopped providing foxglove-sized glasses for orange juice and give us real glasses instead. Dinner from the menu is, although not totally cheap, rather bland and simple (this is the Netherlands, after all), but OK for one night. Just one minor detail to keep in mind if you come in winter: Our room was to the back of the hotel and this place is built for summer, so to get from the lobby to the room we had to get outside and wait in the cold for the lift.
Pros: Excellent staff very helpful
Pros: Location and dinner was very good
Cons: Rooms were situated in a strange concentrated hallway and very small rooms had windows for all passers by to view into your room!? For the price, it was somewhere in the above middle range but I thought it was unimpressive for that price point
Pros: The breakfast was quite good. And the bed was also nice
Cons: Lots of noise from outside the room at midnight by people who where smoking. We got charge extra money for ouwer daughter who sleeps between us. With the excuse that the room was to small and it was not safe. It just was not allowed.
Pros: Breakfast is decent and the location is good near the beach and coastal paths yet still near the center. I would stay again.
Cons: A lot of money for the room provided which was rather noisy given the single glazed window onto the landing area at the stairwell.

Cons: You need to climb stairs to the rooms.
Pros: Great service, lovely friendly persons at the hotel, tidy and clean room. Location is excellent, breakfast was perfect for us. Everything was okay!
Pros: This is a really nice hotel with friendly staff. I was in a rush to check in when I arrived and when I told this to the receptionist, she helped me extra extra fast. Room was good with modern and clean bathroom and breakfast is wonderful as well -scrambled eggs, some fruit, nice croissants... the works!
Cons: It is really a minor detail, but: creaky staircase - don't let that bother you, because this place is just great.
Pros: Food was excellent
Cons: I found it very difficult without a lift , the stairs were very hard for me to climb .
Pros: Excellent staff, good location
Hotel De Leugenaar is situated on the longest sea boulevard of The Netherlands. The hotel offers panoramic views over the water and free Wi-Fi throughout including on the terrace. The guest rooms have a TV with Dutch, German, French, English and American channels. In the morning, an extensive breakfast buffet is available. Middelburg is a 15-minute car drive away and you can reach the A58 motorway within 10 minutes.
Pros: Breakfast quite ok,
Cons: sticky shower curtain in bathroom
Pros: Great sea view. Warm crusty rolls for breakfast. Tastefully decorated Christmas tree. Superb shower.
Cons: Extremely uncomfortable bed with badly sagging mattress. Musty smelling towels. Disappointing breakfast: processed cheese and ham, poor quality yoghurt, scrambled eggs cooked neither in butter nor extra virgin olive oil. Pop music playing constantly in the foyer. Curtain in bedroom hanging off the rail. No soap or shower gel in shower.
Pros: the location was very good also good parking the staff were very friendly and helpful i had a very nice stay in this hotel good views of the sea front i would recommend the hotel and will use it a gain when i'm working in this area
Cons: nothing to not like
Pros: If you booked a room with sea-view - PERFECT!
Cons: If you go in winter (December), be careful! We had a room with sea-view. Temperature outside has been around 5 degrees Celsius, with some wind. In short, at night the room had ARCTIC conditions! For a basic room, but 95EUR per night, I would expect a functioning heating system. Otherwise, parking at the boulevard and sleeping in the car, over night free of charge, would be more comfortable.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were very good.
Cons: Tea/coffee in the room and shower equipment upgrades
Pros: Beautiful view. Very nice breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Loved our balcony with ocean view.
Pros: Basic b & b . Staff good and friendly.
Cons: I booked a room for upto 4 persons because there were 3 of us.We were not asked how many were staying and ended up paying 150 euros for room, too dear for sharing facilities. Cats in breakfast room.
