Pros:The room was clean and included all kitchenware in the kitchen, which was nice since we cooked our own meals. The pool is great, also.
Cons:The front desk clerk at check in was friendly but not very effective at his job. Check in took 30 minutes! I had 2 reservations and the 2nd room was for my brother and his family. He didn't check my ID, or my sister-in-law's ID when he took our credit cards. Later, my mother approached the same clerk, never having met him before, and asked for a spare key, which he gave her without asking for ID and despite her name not having been added to the room. The first night of our stay my car was broken into and things were taken from my car. I called the front desk, and the young lady was not even sympathetic and told me to call the police myself. Later, I called the front desk make them aware of the police report and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was not available, which was fine with me. I was aware the hotel was not liable, even for their lack of cameras in parking area . They sent over a security guard, who arrived on the defense. He said he was the only guard on duty for the whole property but there was no way a break in could happen. The guests across from us also filed a police report for their vehicle being broken into also, I told him. He insisted it was not true and since my window hadn't been broken, there was no way someone accessed it. He kept saying we were lying. He got very loud and offensive at that point, in front of our children, and I asked him to leave. He kept yelling and getting closer to my brother, insinuating he was going to get physical with him for insisting we were telling the truth about the break in. The guard repeatedly said "there are no cameras and this is between us." We felt threatened, until my brother finally asked him to leave and he did. The next morning, the front desk staff was rude, as if we were trouble makers. Nobody ever apologized, which is all we were after all along.
