Pros: Entire staffs and location we liked very much. Behaviour of the staffs were excellent. Provided good food and took acre of us. Thanks a lot for the shef who provided food for us.
Cons: We did double payment of the room rent. One in advance payment and one the time of checkout. If i wont get the refund, i will go ahead with a legal action. Though we had given all the proof, still they charged.
7,1 Good
Pros: Gardens
Cons: Terrible food. Stale. Bakery products were awful. Indian food not good at all. No taste in food. Get good chefs for 3 m tourist season. Close the property for the remaining 9m
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. View of temples directly from the room is a bonus. Superb lawns. Sprawling compound, well maintained. Room was reasonably large. Believe breakfast needs little improvement. Otherwise food is great. Staffs are very good. Overall it was a very nice and comfortable stay.
9,2 Excellent
Cons: It was wedding going on late night so I can't sleep properly
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Large clean room, wonderful staff and great breakfast
Cons: The bedroom window cannot be opened
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The best hotel we found in India. Maybe the breakfast could be better.
Cons: Breakfast
6,0 Good
Pros: Location within easy walking distance of the major group of temples. Regular restaurant meals. Constant supply of hot water and toiletries. Landscaped gardens. Gundeep, the Sikh who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant. We had some interesting conversations with him and he understood when we wanted to be left alone.
Cons: Temple view overstated. The ground between the hotel and the temples was quite extensive and very scruffy. We were allegedly in the best room in the hotel. It was very bland and we could have been anywhere in the world. The bathroom too was a touch tired in feel. No poolside service. It took an age to order any food and drink to be brought there and we had to move our own mattresses, towels and cushions from the shady side to the sunny side. Only two bath towels and two face towels supplied. No hand towels. The Christmas Eve celebratory dinner was compulsory and cost in excess of £50 per person. There was no information about the format and we were given various starting times. In the event, people sauntered in (the venue had originally been poolside but was moved indoors because of rain) from 7.30pm to 9pm. No menu was supplied and there was no information about the drinks available. In fact, the food was not as good as the food we ate on our other three nights in the hotel. The music was so loud it was almost impossible to talk and the puppeteer was amateurish. My husband and I left soon after 9pm. It was the worst value for money in the whole of our four weeks in India. There seemed to be far too many members of staff for the number of guests staying at the hotel. As a result, they seemed not to have enough to do and so we were constantly being asked if we liked our food, if everything was OK, etc. It became somewhat oppressive.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was terrific
Cons: THe hotel had a mandatory new year's celebration that was way overpriced ... one was as much as the cost of a double hotel room . There was no to opt out of it even if you didn't want the umlimited bar which was half the cost. WE felt we were 'had'.

Pros: Great location and friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
5,8 Okay
Pros: Though its a budget hotel .still some things like TV ( cannot be on).ac(no remote) can not be changed, bathroom fittings are old. Atleast a commode shower had to be provided.
Cons: Bathroom fittings and accessories has to be changed for new one. Property owner will save money by changing it.
6,7 Good
Pros: Simple, cheap, basic decent breakfast. Nice host.
Cons: No hot water, but it was so hot weather we didnt really miss it. Air con and fan either full force or zero.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This old luxury house has been converted to a hotel that was exceptionally clean. We had a large quiet room with an en-suite and proper running water, the hot water coming from a boiler in the bathroom for total control. The toilet paper was the best we’ve found in India!!!! The staff were attentive but not overly so as can happen elsewhere. Breakfast was available in the hotel, but 100m away “Lassi Corner” was a good alternative. The owner was a helpful cultured delightful gentleman who’s family has owned the property for generations before it’s conversion to a hotel. He arranged an Ayurvedic massage for both of us in an adjacent hotel room. Much better than having to use a bone jangling tuk-tuk afterwards. I can thoroughly recommend staying here. I do think the room should have cost more than it did. Don’t be put of by price.
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I booked for 2 days and due to transport delay I virtually missed the whole day so the owner let me stay my last day till the evening instead of checking out in the morning almost free of charge. That was so nice of him. And in general all the stuff is ready to fulfill any request for a little tip. Clean bed, towels, hot water. The place itself is veeeeery beautiful. A real palace:)
Cons: It was loud in the morning. As I was said it is like this all over the town because there is a morning function that is broadcasted through speakerphone everywhere. Every day. From ap. 6 to 7 am... And in the evening it finishes at 23.00-23.30. Plus you can actually hear all the talks downstairs. So. EARPLUGS is a must. I was in late November, it was rather cold in the room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: the staff were very nice and honest. we felt very welcome. The rooms were very and very confortable.
Cons: nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Central position The staff was so helpful and friendly
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: Location to the western temples as well as the township. Staff were extremely welcoming, even when we arrived early morning off the overnight train. arranged taxi from station to the hotel. Very much appreciated the hospitality.

Cons: Room was incredibly cold and towels and bedsheets were damp with cold. Restaurant cleanliness was very questionable. The table cloths had clearly not been washed in days and had yellow and oily stains.

Pros: Good value for money, staff somewhat noisy early in the morning, restaurant so-so.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hot water and fantastic laundry. The barber they recommended was phenomenal!
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Coldest room in India - absolutely freezing and heater (at extra cost) was ineffective. Hot water available only once over 5 nights other nights warm at best or just cold. This place is not set up for cooler weather, though would probably be OK in summer as it has really nice outside seating areas. Very noisy from restaurant and other guests.
