Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's convenient location, especially its proximity to Mt. Rushmore and the town, as well as the friendly and pleasant staff. However, many found the breakfast disappointing, citing lack of variety and quality. Cleanliness was a concern for several guests, with mentions of mold, dirty carpets, and bathrooms. Room size was also an issue, with multiple reviews describing rooms as small or lacking storage. While some appreciated the value and views, service and amenities like the pool and hot tub received mixed feedback.

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Night clerk really nice and helpful. Although free breakfast, ran out of food and coffee often. House cleaning if you stayed more than 2 days only came every 3 days so we ran out of towels and trash piled up. Only 2 small trash cans which we emptied ourselves twice.

Customer service was very unfriendly, pool area was very unsafe for kids or anyone. Work areas wasn’t taped off for safety. Our room ice bucket was clearly used had old water in it, sheets had black marks on them.
