Pool great Beach OK ,room liked wood flooring and bath
TV awful no idea of channels .Picture fuzzy and too light .Just bad quality.Hotel check in lacking in warmth
The pool, tiki and beach area was wonderful! The lobby area very beautiful but didn't see anyone enjoying it. The fire bits were very nice but all the seats were always full so I didn't get a chance to enjoy!
I would have liked more food options and the price was a bit much for the quality of the dishes. The nightstand and room was full of sand and I had to ask for it to be cleaned. The room was a bit worn out the desk chair wicker wrapping was coming apart and the mirror in the bathroom had a chip in on of the corners. I expected the rooms to be a bit more in the higher end for the price I paid.
Located in the heart of Islamorada the hotel is in a good location. No real beach area to speak of other than a man-made barrier wall topped with sand.
The front desk staff was rude. After my keys to the room wouldn't open the door, I was told that my money clip (non-magnetic) was the problem and informed to be more careful in handling the keys. The extra commentary was unnecessary and unappreciated when simply properly programming the card was all that was required. The additional "resort fees" seem extreme when none of the services were used. Minimal lighting in the room and the darkest bathroom that I've ever been to at a hotel.
The setting is beautiful. The views are amazing. The bar is pretty.much on the beach and at night they have fire pits which makes it cosy and romantic. It is very easy to find on the highway but feels secluded. It is a great place to stop over on your way from miami to key west.
The restaurant choices were poor and the breakfast was very expensive.
Islamorada is close to many activities and the hotel is family friendly but far too over rated
Bathroom was super tiny and we always had to ask for towels (3 or 4 towels are not enough for five people) One bed room had no window at all and once we came home late and found out that the top sheet of one bed was gone and we had to wait for it to be replaced Sofa bed in the living room was awful to sleep in
