Pros (+) Bernerhof hotel was a 3 minute walk from Interlaken West, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel also provided a transportation pass that got you free rides on any city buses, or between Interlaken West and Ost. Cons (-) Unfortunately, the hotel was pretty old and outdated. The hallways and bedroom had this very stale smell to it. Almost felt too gross to walk around the carpeted room barefoot. Plus, it's a pretty high price for a very old feeling hotel. But that's Switzerland for you! In the end, we didn't spend much time in the hotel, it was just a good central location for getting to the surrounding areas.
