Good for short stay
Location, parking, great staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, acess to nearby shops and restaurants. Despite the negative comments that follow I would gladly return. I was very impressed with the assistance afforded to us by the staff - thank you.
It may be just our room but the bathroom was smelling damp - needs drain cleaner I think. The room (27) was small. We had a second room - accross the road that was much roomier. I will in future speak to hotel on booking to get a better room. Too much 'lowlife' hanging about in the streets outside - perhaps the chain needs to complain to the local Police about the drug users in the locale.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and included in the price. The price of the room was very affordable for London. The guests were mostly families on vacation.
The picture of the hotel is only one of the buildings they have. I was put across the street in a converted old home (which is normal for London) but the room was tiny; if I was a heavier person I could have hardly fit. The neighborhood is mostly Pakistani and very diverse; no problem there, however lots of men hanging out in the streets late at night. The train into central London does not run on weekends so I had to take a long bus ride. I don't think I would stay there again.
