Poor 1,0
Pros: The bed was conformable. The staff were friendly and pleasant.
Cons: I am in a wheelchair and booked the easily accessible room. You could not easily get the wheel chair into the room as it was blocked by a huge heavy chair. The hotel is not wheel chair friendly as too many steps to negotiate into outside court yard with no grab rails in the middle of the Step Rails behind the open doors out to the court yard are positioned behind the open doors and not not accessible to use. Front door of black boy very difficult to get in.i had to walk in as i had no choice and fortunately I have limited mobility anyone who does not would not get in. I have limited mobility but was exhausted moving up and down steps. The corridors are extremely narrow. There was steps down to the toilet area. You had to use an app to order drinks and no one at the pub could show me how to use or access the app. I asked most of the staff and receptionist. I could not access the bar to order drinks or food.My husband was not always with me as he liked to explore the area. So with no table service for the disabled I could not order any drinks or food myself. The shower was head was fixed in the easy accessible room, and a flexible movable shower head is required for disabled people so i just got extremely wet on my head and could not shower my body adequately. The small plastic chair in the disabled shower was useless and very dangerous to sit on. There was no other bathroom chair to use to dry yourself. The easy accessible room was not in the Pub. But outside at the back. Therefore you are back and forth several times for food and drinks. Not easy accessible at all. Minimal staff and long waiting times. The staff were all very friendly and the manager did try to help me out of another corridor that lead to the front of the pub as trying to negotiate all the steps In the pub. It helped a little but the black boy should clearly state not easy accessible for wheel chairs users.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff was fantastic, always willing to help
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We really enjoyed our return visit to the Black Boy Inn and our suite with kitchenette gave us great flexibility as we explored the Llyn Penninsula. Breakfasts in the hotel were excellent with enough variety for us and freshly cooked ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening meal we chose to have - the restaurant had an extensive menu with a local flavour. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is plenty to do and see both in the town and the wider locality so the whole experience was of a relaxing break.
Cons: Not much to say - the wifi was a bit infrequent but it didn't bother us too much.
Good 6,0
Pros: Comfy room.
Cons: Noises and smells from kitchen. Some of the service felt impersonal. Despite booking ahead for dinner, we were put into what felt like an overflow room, which had very little character and atmosphere. Food was OK, but didn't live up to overblown marketing claims.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent stay, rooms spacious everything needed was there, staff absolutely brilliant nothing was too much trouble n that bath omg I'm in love so big n comfy to relax n unwind. Will defo go back n stay again 💙❤️
Cons: The traffic at the back
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great room and bathroom, and very helpful staff
Good 7,0
Pros: Room was clean, well-decorated.
Cons: We were in Room 3 and the noise from the kitchen fans was unacceptable. They went on roaring until 10.10pm and started up again in the morning at 6.10am.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: It was very clean , breakfast was really nice .. I didn’t have the cooked one , but from what I saw being served it looked lovely . I took my dog with me and a bed , towel , treats , poo bags snd bowls were provided for him . The farm itself is not far .. 9 mins by car .. from Trearddur bay but there isn’t much to do around the place unless you have a car but it’s a good base to stay especially if you want to camp or have a caravan
Cons: No evening meals and there isn’t a lot to do around the area
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Loved the room and the bed was so comfortable, staff attentive and friendly, the place is spotless and all work as a team,I just loved the whole place it so relaxing and they can't control weather, breakfast wonderful, lovely little touch for your dogs great exercise field too .walks around bay are breathtaking .I will be back soon for longer .
Cons: Nothing to do in bad weather unless you drive out ,but it's often nice just to chill so it suited me. Not many great places to eat out White Eagle phone always engaged booking online no response 2 nights running.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Fantastic breakfast, rooms are clean, good location,

Excellent 10,0
Pros: I have been staying at Blackthorn Farm for many years and it never disappoints. Clean rooms, fantastic breakfast and lovely staff.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean spacious room, bathroom with bath and shower, huge breakfast and plenty of variety, stunning location with views over the sea, thoughtful dairy substitute. Even went out of their way to wrap our breakfast bap as we wanted it for our walking lunch. Such friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend.
Cons: I liked everything, it was superb!
Okay 5,0
Pros: Great location and lovely house with views of the sea Great football nets for kids. Bed really comfy
Cons: There was no black out curtains or blinds so we were awake really early, quite noisy too, felt like we were camping. We were very tired!!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything, we had our dog and it was fab, with areas to walk him and a fenced off play area.
Cons: The room could have used some curtains, we loved the look of it and facilities but waking up at 4am due to the light was a glitch.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Central location to town. Excellent hosts, nothing was to much for them, in helping our stay in holyhead welcoming
Cons: There was nothing not to like. It was an exceptional place
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Mel and Pearl were really friendly and made sure my partner and I had everything we needed. They recommended nice places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The room was bigger than we expected and even had a functioning fridge with water and milk prepared for us. Breakfast options were varied and tasty, with room for customisation.
Cons: The sign for the entrance of the lodge is small so we missed it the first time we drove past. Not really a problem though as there is space to turn around at the end of the road.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very friendly hosts and great quality breakfast.
Good 7,0
Pros: The owners were so nice and made us feel so welcome . Could not do enough For us The Breakfast was amazing
Cons: Our room the comfy room was a little too small for me and my boyfriend . No room to put our belongings or move around. We did expect our room to be bigger as we had for a double room Room had a bit of a damp smell . The bathroom however was good
Excellent 8,0

Good 7,0
Pros: We enjoyed our stay - staff lovely, the room was good & very clean. The only problem we had was that the area had almost no other places to eat an evening meal unless you were willing quite a way & the food at the seacroft was pretty basic.
Cons: See above
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Extremely helpful staff. Welcomed us at check in and helped moved things around to get us fed as we forgot to book a table in advance. Evening food was excellent. Breakfast cooked fresh. Rooms are of an outstanding quality.
Cons: Nothing - lovely location.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The manager had great customer service and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Love this pub/restaurant with rooms, this was a great find in a fantastic location which is hard to beat. The rooms are very stylish, smart and comfortable, loved the balcony and the nautical theme. We would definitely stay again, there was nothing to fault. The staff were great and the Manager Nathan was amazing, very friendly, helpful and couldn’t have done more for us. So glad we found this in Treaddur Bay. The pub restaurant layout is smart and welcoming and the outside seating is a real bonus in the sun. Didn’t have a meal there but the full welsh breakfast was great. Will go back there for a meal and overnight stay.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: This is our 4th pub visit so decided on a stay. Lovely fresh clean modern room with beach vibes. Short walk to beautiful beach, shame not much else around pop up shops/bars would be ideal here.
Cons: Price! Was thinking of returning looked on website prices from £75 I paid £141.60 that’s almost twice the price in June. Also our room was above noisy kitchen extractor. Really annoying
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Was really nice stay in Seacroft. Staff welcoming and friendly. We had two nights stay. Was great that after 10pm become quite outside the restaurant. And we could enjoy peaceful nights on comfortable bed. Evenings was really busy in restaurant and bar, looks like really popular place for local people. The food is really delicious and breakfast too. Everything clean. Sad that didn't had bath in room. Sea side is few minutes away. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Everything was good.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: The only nice part was brekfast when it was empty
Cons: Service was terrible, toilet roll wasn’t fresh, shampoo n other toiletries all half filled, denim cushions on the bed un washed. The photo showed bath tub and wasn’t, not even air conditioning. Both dinners awful and had to constantly get up asking where everything was, waited an hour and 15 each time. Complained about food as it was awful, not one person came to even acknowledge it or apologies. at 8.30am. Not worth spending 230 pounds for stay and dinner. Very disappointed.
Good 7,0
Pros: It was fine
Cons: We had a meal the first evening and we waited for two hours before we had our main course and my steak was cold and the peppercorn sauce was just a jug of cream. Extremely disappointed in the food and service

Pros: The staff we're brilliant. The room was great, spaceous and clean and a very comfy bed. The problems with the food was quickly and efficiently sorted out.

Cons: Menu could be a bit more varied.
Good 7,0
Pros: Restaurant and reception staff were outstanding.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Meals in restaurant were nice.
Cons: That breakfast was extra.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Huge room, plenty of parking, friendly staff and good food. Swimming pool was kept at a great temperature.
Cons: If I had to pick something, a walk-in shower rather than a bath would have been nice, but the shower we had was very good, and a shelf near the sink for personal toiletries..
Excellent 8,0
Pros: There's plenty of parking at the hotel and it's in a convenient location within walking distance to the town centre. Breakfast was good, we just had to book a time slot the day before so that the dining room is not too busy to be socially distanced. Afternoon tea was lovely - far too much food we couldn't finish it all! The pool is great but again you have to pre-book a slot to ensure covid rules are observed.
Cons: TV in the bedroom was a tiny flat screen on the wall! We had a room for 3 people but the room only fit in 2 chairs.
Okay 5,0
Pros: I wish I could. We couldn’t get a decent time for breakfast so we didn’t have any.
Cons: On arrival, the receptionist from the start was unwelcoming by informing us of all the things we couldn’t do in a robotic fashion. We know that we are in unprecedented times. However, we have lived through it for 18 months and we know most things. An apologetic response would have been a more welcoming start.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: Decor of room and price
Good 7,0
Pros: The close proximity to the centre of Caernarfon
Cons: Nothing at all
Okay 4,8
Pros: Like the location
Cons: Mold in bath. Robotic check in with no smile (both receptionists).
Excellent 8,1
Excellent 8,5
Pros: clean room, quiet, comfy beds. Breakfast substantial and fairly good. Pool is very nice. Great location, close to walled center and castle, supermarket across the street, walkable to harbor.
Cons: Didnt like the 6pm cutoff at the pool for children (no admittance after 5:30pm!), it should be available to children and families a little later

Pros: Lovely guesthouse at the quiet end of the bay. Clean, COVID safe and staff very friendly. Great fresh cooked breakfast and traditional evening pub food. Clean rooms and fresh towels. Good outdoor area if sunny and on the costal walk path to South stack light house and Treardurr bay
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very friendly staff and perfect location next to the ocean and the marina. Lovely walks just outside the hotel and holyhead is so close and the shops are close too.
Cons: Price of the restaurant menu is very over priced. Stairs to upper floor is very noisy and you can hear everyone going up and down at all times of the morning.

Okay 4,0
Pros: If the hotel was operating effectively it could be a pleasurable experience as the hotel had a homely feel.
Cons: No staff to greet us, hotel was empty for 55 minutes before arrival of owner. Dirty piece of underwear on our radiator. No breakfast in any capacity. Bar was not open. Lounge was in darkness, not inviting. Hotel was opened to the homeless and there was a gentleman with obvious mental health issues. We paid £200 for this experience which was very expensive for no benefits.
Okay 4,6
Pros: Not much
Cons: The staff were friendly but the owner was terrible not helpful at all.
Good 6,0
Pros: no meals served due to covid
Cons: no meals
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Nice room. Despite a glitch with our original booking the hotel was able to accommodate us in a room for disabled persons. Located near an RAF airfield so noisy during the day but no jets fly at night.
Cons: Nothing. Due to Covid no restaurant, bar or breakfast which is understandable.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: n/a
Cons: no food or drink available.

Good 7,0
Pros: The location was excellent and food very good.
Cons: Room was very small, no wardrobe. Limited parking.
Okay 5,0
Pros: the beds were fresh and clean
Cons: the quality of the rooms, and the breakfast
Good 6,0
Pros: Lovely location, fab staff, fab dinner and breakfast
Cons: Bedroom very cramped
Good 7,0
Pros: Great food! Location couldn't be better next to Caernarfon Castle.
Cons: Cramped room, shower fittings falling to bits although the shower did work.
Poor 1,0
Pros: Breakfast 3as nice
Cons: This place needs condeming, such a shame as location is beautiful, i have no idea how on earth it has not been closed down? Inside the accomadation consists of broken bits of furniture, filthy broken bed, floor in the room had a big hole in it, walls paint hanging off, floors and carpets filthy dirty, bathroom floors filthy Absolute dump!!! No effort at all, everything in the hotel should be put in a skip and taken to the dump. Left after one night, not even proper rooms just space divided up cheaply. I couldnt bring myself to get in the bed, and we left our beautiful home to stay in this dump!!!!! Up your game Anglesey Arms or close it down!!! On a positive note the staff are really lovely, its no fault of theirs. Food is nice though.such a shame
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Good food and location
Cons: Poor table service on outside bar
Poor 1,0
Cons: This establishment may be fine as a hostel for young outdoor types who are not fussy about cleanliness and comfort, and might not mind the bawling row from the bar until after midnight, but as an £80 per night hotel it is a shocker.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Location, Breakfast and breakfast service.
Cons: Waitress service alfresco was well below expectation. Having to wait some time to order drinks and or food, then having to wait in-excess of an hour for it to arrive.

Okay 4,0
Pros: It’s on a great location. Within walking distance of everything you need or not far to travel out to explore
Cons: Unfortunately it wasn’t very clean. There had been a leak from the kitchen sink and the carpet was soaking wet. Limited eating utensils and equipment (no microwave despite stating there is one) in the kitchen so we ended up just eating out for every meal, which we hadn’t budgeted for. The main bed needs replacing as head and foot boards had stains on. Not nice. Massive old Tv in the room that doesn’t work properly taking up valuable space in the small family room. Needs a good spring clean.
Good 7,0
Pros: Stayed there last week. The property is inside the castle walls, within the city centre near the Caernarfon Castle which is great. They gave us a separate apartment-type room that’s connected to the building, which was clean and decent in size. I was impressed with heating floors in the toilet which was nice.
Cons: Outside and inside of the property looks like a lot of refurbishment to be done, looks old, the building is old and needs some life, some moulds in some part of the walls inside, broken walls. WiFi not working properly which wasn’t working properly which was the annoying part as I had to use my mobile hotspot to connect to my laptop. Not much signal but did manage to get couple to 3 bars at least. It terms of the payment you have to go the pub near the docks for the payment of ur stay.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Layout, facilities, parking and dog friendly!
Okay 4,0
Pros: Location was very good and close to castle and seafront. Excellent shower and hot water.
Cons: Both TVs didn't work, there was no WiFi, given the Covid cleaning necessities they had not vacuumed under the beds and it didn't look very clean. No tea/coffee maker, no microwave, no teatowels or dishcloths, no antibac to wipe surfaces down, no stovetop as advertised.
Good 7,1
Pros: Space
Cons: No WiFi
Okay 4,0
Pros: Location was good. Bathroom good. Facilities ok
Cons: The whole place needed a very thorough deep clean. There were 2 tvs in the apartment, neither of which we could get to work. Bed very uncomfortable. Only found wi fi code on morning we were leaving and that did not work very well.
Poor 1,0
Pros: The location to the town centre
Cons: The smell, the damp and the general cleanliness of the place, The only time we saw the host was when we checked in. Advertised as B&B but there was no mention of breakfast when we checked in and had to pay to eat elsewhere
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Breakfast was lovely but the B and B was in need of decorating
Cons: large mushroom in entrance hall which wasnt good and outside in rear was very messy
Okay 4,0
Pros: Great location to visit this lovely town.
Cons: The place has not been cleaned properly, there were bins/rubbish pilled up just outside the entrance door which is not acceptable especially in this covid times... It spoilt our stay as we could not relax and just wanted to get out.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: The shower, water pressure was great
Cons: It looked and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time. Carpet was sticky and every wall had something unpleasant on it. I highly doubt that the property had been prepared with Covid-19 in mind. It could be made perfect with i a little TLC, but sadly I think it’s used as a cash cow and nothing else.
Good 7,4
Pros: Fantastic location inside city walls near shops, restaurants, and attractions. Private parking spot if you rent the apartment (but no breakfast).
Cons: Dishes in the apartment not very clean. No parking unless you get the apartment, in which case you forfeit breakfast.
