Pros: Brilliant find. Lovely site. I stayed in one of the rooms in the house. It was very recently refurbished. Beautiful place and great location. The owner and staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7,1
Pros: The room was beautiful in its decor and the bed was very comfortable. The WiFi was very good and the breakfast was great quality.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location & breakfast
Good 7,3
Pros: very convenient for ferry rto Ireland
Cons: A little expensive
Good 7,6
Pros: Room, food, and staff other than reception were excellent.
Cons: Reception were oblivious to guests, probably thinking themselves superior. Competent indifference describes their approach to clients.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The reception staff were very helpful, the room was well apointed comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was very good as was the service
Cons: $review.cons
Good 7,2
Pros: Our room was really nice leading us to feel very relaxed and the bed and bathroom facilities were really comfortable.
Cons: We ate in The Inn at the Bay (I think!) Which was a bar/restaurant attached to the hotel. We were a little disappointed though as they had notices up advertising 25% of the total bill but we didn't realise that we had to hand in a leaflet that was on the table. None of the staff told us sadly, which we later realised our error and felt rather disappointed about that, interpreting that situation as not very helpful or friendly.
Good 6,4
Pros: Overall excellent hotel and easy location and access from a55. Facilities are excellent, adequate parking and friendly staff.
Cons: One minor criticism. My room faced sw and got full brunt of the rain and howling wind off the Irish Sea. I appreciate that we cannot control the weather but perhaps some sound proofing might not go amiss. Was a bit cold in bed. Heating wasn't great and could have done with a couple of extra blankets.

Excellent 8,5
Pros: clean room, quiet, comfy beds. Breakfast substantial and fairly good. Pool is very nice. Great location, close to walled center and castle, supermarket across the street, walkable to harbor.
Cons: Didnt like the 6pm cutoff at the pool for children (no admittance after 5:30pm!), it should be available to children and families a little later
Okay 4,8

Cons: Mold in bath. Robotic check in with no smile (both receptionists).
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The pool area
Cons: The personal was a bit cold

Excellent 9,6
Pros: This hotel is incredibly pretty and comfortable. The room was roomy and clean. They also offer great health and fitness facilities, such as a pool, sauna and gym.
Cons: The staff was great overall but we faced some language barrier a couple of time. We also wished there was a bit more diversity for breakfast like pastries, more fruits etc...
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Excellent breakfast, lovely location. We ate in the restaurant every evening, nice food. Leisure facilities excellent.
Cons: Staff a little offhand. Asked to book afternoon tea, said they would get back to us but didn't. Offered a cocktail menu but bartender didn't know how to make any of them.

Pros: We stayed for three nights whilst in Holyhead visiting family and it felt just like we were at home. The rooms are cosy and I think they probably have the comfiest mattresses ever. Breakfast lived up to it's name, it was definitely the best breakfast in Holyhead. Our hosts and the rest of the staff were fab so warm and friendly. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Absolutely spotless, great welcoming from the staff, perfect breakfast will definitely stay again
Okay 4,6
Pros: Location, unfortunately this was its best feature
Cons: The rooms were extremely small and the bathroom was even smaller, had to phone the staff to notify them we had arrived as there was no other way of alerting them. On arrival we were notified that there would be no cooked breakfast available despite us not leaving until 7.15am we were left a bag which contained sandwiches, a drink each and a cereal bar, theses were left in our door the night before, bed and breakfast it most certainly wasn’t. We were due to stop on our return to the UK but preferred to drive home.

Pros: Great hotel, great food and staff, very clean and nice room
Cons: Seemed quite expensive for what it is, room was very cold
Excellent 9,0
Pros: A lovely surprise to find this family hotel so close to Holyhead after a long drive on a Friday evening. The bedroom was warm and very spacious. We had an excellent dinner; all the staff were exceptionally friendly. Unfortunately our stay was too short but we will be back and will recommend to others travelling by ferry to or from Holyhead.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean, food was excellent, quiet, lovely room. Perfect weekend !
Cons: Absolutely nothing we didnt like
Good 7,0
Pros: Food was lovely with good portions. Room service was very good.
Cons: The shared balcony was in poor condition with loose floor tiles and puddles of rain water collecting. Exposed wires in bathroom and loose internet/modem socket in bedroom.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: During these strange times with coronavirus the hotel did a great job making sure the place was very clean, we didn’t meet any staff but were directed to our room via a phone call. There was hand sanitizers and cleaning spats our if we needed them. Excellent location for the port/ferry. The room was very comfortable and clean.
Excellent 10,0
Cons: Nothing thanks
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great location for work at RAF Valley - two minute drive to airbase. Check-in and check-out were efficient. Room was large with plenty of hot water for the shower and good water pressure. Wifi was marginal, difficult for video conf calls.
Cons: The rooms were cold due to the boiler not working; had to ask for a portable heater. Breakfast was good but service was sometimes slow even with only a few tables occupied. Dinner menu is limited due to winter season, there's only some many nights that you can eat the Half Roast Chicken or Beef Stroganoff ... I was excited to see a board offering various pizzas only to be disappointed that pizzas are not available on the winter menu.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Lovely very modern restaurant and bar area. Great for equestrians. Great views from the upstairs rooms, with a grand balcony. Generally the food was excellent.Overall a really nice hotel
Cons: generally it was all fine.
Good 6,7
Pros: Quiet and well run hotel.
Cons: More comfotable seating in bar area.
Good 7,7
Pros: Recepion staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Cons: The downside about being in the family room was it was below the bar, lots of chair scraping and heels clicking above disturbed the children late on.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent food, chef approachable when asked for something slightly different to menu. Unique hotel, where else can you watch showjumping whilst having breakfast! Lovely!
Cons: Didn't find any
Okay 5,7
Cons: The screeching of chairs from the bar and restaurant could be heard very loudly in the bedrooms above these areas. The main building is not the place to stay if you want a good nights sleep. The hotel is very like a travel lodge, with people staying for one night before catching the early morning ferry to Ireland. The loud clanging of internal doors from 5 in the morning as guests started leaving was very annoying. Due to alterations in the kitchen the menu was very limited, same soup on consecutive days and one meal was sent back as it was inedible
Good 6,4
Pros: We chose this hotel for the disabled facilities which were very good.
Cons: Although the staff were very friendly and apologetic the service in the restaurant for breakfast and evening was poor and the evening meals although neither bad nor good were not very inspiring or good value.Good choice for breakfast was let down by the service.
Okay 4,8
Pros: The rooms were good and the bar facilities and evening meal /dining room was good .
Cons: The manager needs some educating in running an hotel . the 2 under managers were excerllent , some of the other staff were not trained very well. But that was down to the manager .
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of the rooms. Also we enjoyed looking round the equastrian centre. Near to beautiful beach

Cons: No en suite, no chairs.
Okay 5,7
Pros: The fact that it was part of the Castle, the staff were friendly and it had a good view. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: The television did not work. No breakfast
Okay 4,3
Pros: It was comparatively cheap and well located with a beautiful view
Cons: Lack of breakfast facilities (though we did know that), lack of en suite, noise of pub customers after closing time. Also there was no-one to pay when we left in the morning, and we had to phone them later.
Good 6,0
Pros: Quiet, clean
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: good view outside
Cons: had to go out of my room to have a shower/shave an toilet facilities were all located outside my room. No towels. No milk for coffee. No wardrobe to hang clothes.Room temperature controls outside my room.Poor standards for the price i paid thro using the internet site. Will not return to this hotel again.
Mediocre 2,8
Pros: It was cheap and the view outside the front door was spectacular. You could not ask for a more convenient spot to explore Caenarfon fom.
Cons: The live band were playing undereath our room so loud that we could not think let alone sleap. The juke box started after the band were done and this was not much quieter. The fire safety instruction poster was underneath the tea and cofee. The multi socket to power the tv and kettle dangled in the corner of the room. Not sure that is in line with current Health & Safety guidelines. The wallpaper was pealing from damp in the corner above the beds. The bathroom was not cleaned for our entire stay. There were about 30 sachets of coffee and no milk. No one to be found to help during the day when the pub was closed and no indication of how I would get hold of anyone.
Okay 5,6
Pros: Excellent view from our family room, great position to explore Caernarfon, literally right next to the castle.
Cons: Very basic, staff would speak welsh the moment you came into view, very annoying, locals are halfwits and drink and swear constantly outside and around the bar. Although it was reasonably clean, the shower did not work properly, there is no ensuite, no breakfast and the evening meals are very very basic. It was okay as a base, the staff did listen when you asked for something and the beer was good in the bar but I wouldn't want to stay for a long time, noise on Thursday went on till after 1:30am.

Cons: checkout is 10am not great when ferry was 2pm had 3 small children thought we would be able to pass time till ferry in room with tv baby 6 months included
Okay 5,3
Pros: Friendly, welcoming operator. Basic no frills room but fine for stopover before catching early morning ferry to Dublin. We were able to have an early continental breakfast on request.
Cons: Small bathroom and shower was a little dirty.
Okay 5,7
Pros: nearness to ferry

Excellent 8,0
Pros: tea coffee and biscuits in room good breakfast.
Good 6,0
Pros: Easy to find, had wi fi,
Cons: Facilities very small, especially with two children, beds weren't very comfortable, no one was there when we arrived, a note to go across the street to get someone to let us in, breakfast pretty poor even for cereal and tea
Good 6,8
Pros: Cute facility and rooms. Great breakfast.
Cons: Small bathroom. Only street parking.
Okay 5,6
Pros: Great proximity to hiking trails, town, and the ferry. Also, excellent breakfast, thoughtful staff, and comfortable bed.
Cons: I would suggest that they repair the shower in the "family" facility as quickly as possible and remove the "roll-away" bed unless it is needed...it takes us a great deal of the small space.Tighten the toilet to the floor...a bit disconcerting when it moves beneath you!
Good 7,6
Pros: Convenience to Ferry
Cons: No ground floor bedrooms
Good 6,0
Pros: Our host was very friendly.
Cons: Good restaurants were non existent.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location, and Phil was spot on sound guy.
Cons: Parking tricky .
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Amazing breakfast Great town location Very friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The location is very good. Rooms are big and comfortable enough . Phil the host is personable and will try to help when reasonable. There was an issue with noisy neighbors and Phil went to sort it out efficiently. I'll definitely be going back.
Cons: The price is low so obviously this is not very modern or plush but for the price it is very good. Cooked breakfast is only available from 8 to 9 which is acceptable and Phil provided me with an alternative option as I had to go early.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Excellent location with free parking nearby, very friendly staff and excellent value
Cons: Couldn’t fault it
Good 7,4
Pros: Fantastic location inside city walls near shops, restaurants, and attractions. Private parking spot if you rent the apartment (but no breakfast).
Cons: Dishes in the apartment not very clean. No parking unless you get the apartment, in which case you forfeit breakfast.
Okay 4,0
Pros: Basic, no frills accommodation with an adequate breakfast at a good price.
Cons: I stayed in winter and the room heating was totally inadequate bordering on non existent. This is not acceptable at any price, a free standing electric heater would have cured the problem and I would have been happy to pay 2 or 3 pounds extra to cover the cost of electricity. Another guest was sitting by the hallway radiator trying to keep warm, so clearly I was not the only one with this issue.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I was able to park my Motorbike just 20 metres from the property, which made off-loading my stuff very easy. The double bed was perfect for me and very comfy. Breakfast kept me going all day and it was very well cooked. The B&B owner Phil was great, very down to earth and had a good sense of humour. This property has great access to the Castle and is located inside the outer boundary walls, plenty of Pubs, Take-away's and Shops to see. The train and Bus Stations are only about 10-15 minutes walk too. Even the marina is only 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction to the castle on the same road
Cons: Nothing at all for me personaly, if you have a large 4x4, SUV or Van you will have to park it a little bit further from the property as Church road is quite narrow.
Good 7,1
Pros: Close proximity to town and all amenities. Comfy bed. Relatively clean.
Cons: Dirty spoon, no sugar in room. TV did not work. Service for breakfast was minimal. Vegetarian breakfast was egg, beans, tomato and mushrooms. Hole covered with carpet by window to fall into. Towel was scratchy. Whole place looked tired.
Mediocre 2,4
Pros: Linens clean. Breakfast ok.
Cons: Extremely small room overlooking a "garden" with garbage. Carpet completely torn and worn.
Good 6,0
Pros: Room was reasonably priced, breakfast good, bottled water in room, tea making facilities and selection of DVD's and dvd player in room, room clean.
Cons: Tv reception and quality poor, no extractor fan in bathroom
Okay 5,0
Pros: The company of fellow guests. The friendliness of the female member of staff who served breakfast and seviced the rooms.
Cons: the absence of full en-suite faciliteis and the absence of related parking.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: phil was a really down to earth person and made our stay better than we anticipated !!
Okay 5,7
Pros: Not good for parking, but a great location right next to Caernarfon Castle.Had a DVD player and some DVD's to borrow.
Cons: A bit oddball, that you had to walk through the kitchin/laundry area to get to the apartment
Good 7,7
Pros: Great host Phil and his cat, wonderful breakfast and house
Cons: none
Good 7,0
Pros: Really enjoyed my stay there and it is in a great location.
Cons: Nothing.
Mediocre 2,8
Pros: None

Good 6,4
Pros: The hotel was well run clean rooms great breakfast and friendly.
Cons: The fact the when you booked and payed by card you think that is it you have payed. It's embarrassing for manager and the customer when asked to pay on your way out because you think you already have ? I got soaking wet looking for the cash machine on a sunday morning ?
Good 6,4
Pros: The apartment is lovely, clean, and worth for only 75 pounds aper night.
Cons: The only bad thing is it is not clear that I've paid online.

Good 7,0
Pros: The view! It was stunning! Plus the staff couln't have been more helpful. They upgraded us to a bigger and better room, just because it was free (the room was amazing, we didn't want to leave it). And they opened up the swimming pool and sauna, just for us.
Cons: The bar area, which is your first view of the hotel looks a bit like a tatty pub/social club. And first impressions count. Plus, be prepared, the outside of the hotel is pink !
Good 7,3
Pros: The views were the best ever and the staff were very friendly
Cons: The rooms could do with a little updating
Good 6,0
Pros: Two bedrooms were ideal for two adults and one child. Staff were very frindly and helpful. Great location in coastal, country Wales.
Cons: Bathroom facilities not great in the room. The price was a bit too high for the facilities provided but the location was special.
Okay 4,7
Cons: Only place for evening meal was in bar. As a single female I did was not happy about this. Rooms rather dated.
Good 6,0
Pros: The view from our room was amazing but it was in a separate tower away from the main hotel. We did not try the bar as they had a party of cyclists in and so it would have been busy. The staff were very friendly although a little disorganised. Location was great as we wanted to explore the Llanberis area which was only 8 miles away.
Cons: The breakfast room lacked atmosphere although it had a good view, the cooked breakfast was average and not very warm presumable because it had to travel from the far side of the hotel. Although our room was lovely the shower cubicle and basin was located in the room and so not truly ensuite. Decor incomplete but adequate.
Okay 5,6
Pros: owner of hotel was a lovely lady made us fill very welcome
Cons: $review.cons
Okay 4,8
Pros: Pleasant staff
Cons: hotel is very much a 'guest house' type of establishment. The reception area doubles as the lounge/bar. Decor is dated. Premises was very clean though.
Okay 5,6
Pros: The view from our apartment room was absolutely stunning. It was easy to find and situated within easy drive from all the main towns and villages. The hotel had all the facilities we were expecting.
Cons: We stayed in one of the apartment type rooms which had a fantastic view of the sea. However the interior was not finished to a very high standard, particularly the bathroom. The room had not been hoovered before or while we were there. Our apartment had an upstairs room which had twin beds. The beds would have been too high for our daughters and there was no gate for the very steep stairs. The room had a tiled floor and no curtains, so offered no comfort. Also the only source of heating was a fan heater.
Good 7,2
Pros: The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. We chose the hotel because we wanted a restful weekend and it fitted the bill perfectly.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 7,6
Pros: Friendly staff and a flexible attitude
Cons: When my card receipt was printed it showed my name full card number and expiry date
