Pros (+) The hotel is quite a walk from the center of Hallstatt. Although, it is almost a doorstep away from the grocery. Buying water and some snacks would be helpful considering the hotel does not have a restaurant open for lunch and dinner. It opens though from 8-10am for breakfast- make sure to book your meal. Breakfast is reasonably priced at EUR5 per person. The room is spacious and has a balcony ove...
Cons (-) The hotel is a long walk from the ferry station. Walking with a rolling luggage is a struggle. There are no elevators as well so it's better to carry a backpack instead. We tried paying for our room upon checking-in but their credit card machine somewhat had difficulty getting a signal. The guy in charge asked us to pay the day after instead.
