Pros: The breakfast was perfect
Pros: This small hotel is on the North Sea cycle route (LF1), which is why we stayed there. We stayed in the garden room, a private wooden building in the garden, with en suite facilities. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and offered a welcome drink on arrival. The dining area was available as a sitting room in the evening for playing games or reading, although the chalet was perfectly comfortable for this as well. The breakfast (included in room rate) was great- lots of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, charcuterie and cooked bacon and eggs.
Cons: The room was furnished very well. Unfortunately the shower had a problem with the thermostat, so that increasing the flow of water made it suddenly go icy cold, and flushing the toilet made it run scalding hot.
Pros: The friendly welcome from Jacqueline and Frank. They were so lovely and extremely helpful, nothing was a problem. There garden is out of this world, a wee personal forrest, with plenty of space to relax. The breakfast was like eating in a 5*restaurant, only better... Excellent location, meters from the bars and shops and only 5mins to beach... I loved it so much, definitely go back.. Totally blissful.

Pros: I enjoyed very much the restaurant - the cuisine was excellent. It was quite expensive, but very good, and would go again. The fish in particular was superb.
Pros: The room was confortable and clean, the swemming pool was fine, and the facilities in general were really good. The breakfast is wonderful, with handmade bread, juices, coffes and other surprises :D
Cons: The dinner´s price it´s quite expensive if you compare prices between other restaurants around, but the quality it´s perfect.
Pros: in summer excellent location, autumn not so good - nice town centre is not at a walking distance - had to drive. Good parking.
Cons: small infrared sauna cabin - was occupied when we were supposed to be there
Pros: Everything - great staff-great breakfasts-lovely indoor pool
Pros: Staff is really welcoming and helpful. Location is great. Free parking. Very strong Wi-Fi within the hotel and restaurant areas. Restaurant offers fresh and tasty food. Service was very good as well. Within a 2-3 minutes walk you are directly at the beach, which is amazing by the way. I personally rate it higher than Scheveningen, even though they are completely different in each and every way. Me and my wife would definitely recommend this hotel, if you want to relax.
Pros: friendlyness at reception. Good meal
Cons: rooms are too clinically clean,
Pros: All in all a good stay
Cons: The walls are far from being sound-proof and we had quite noisy neighbours who kept us awake almost through the night... Check out at 10:30 am is a bit early in my opinion (given the price) and compared to other hotels...
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices of food and drinks. Had dinner at the hotel the first evening, which was very good.
Pros: we enjoyed the position of your hotel being quiet no road noise and good facilities
Pros: Kindness of staff, great breakfast.
Pros: The staff are amazing!the location was great,if you want beach promximity.atmosphere was cosy and family-hotel-like.LOVED The shower (i´m pregnant and it was easy to get in and out of)
Cons: The beds were a bit soft and the walls are pretty thin (although we were lucky - our neighbours were quiet)
Pros: Friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Pros: It is a clean and new hotel located very close to beaches. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Secure parking; bicycle storage; swimming pool, sauna and fitness.
Pros: The hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. The rooms were nice. The pool was nice. The atmosphere was excellent, especially in the breakfast room. Breakfast was very nice
Cons: The evening meal was overpriced and not good. We had steak and it was probably the worst meal I've ever paid to eat.
With a stay at Hotel Renesse, you'll be centrally located in Renesse, within a 15-minute drive of Renesse Beach and Brouwersdam Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was great and the coffee and hit chocolate out of the machine were awesome. There was another coffee, hot chocolate,... Machine in the "lounge" where you could get one for 1€ or you could get a snack out of the Snackmachine. You had a small fridge in your bedroom and a TV.
Cons: The mattresses where way to soft for us on the beds. So we actually left a day earlier. And just to say towards it. I'm not a fussy person at all. I travel a lot and stay in lots of dorms in hostels. I guess if you love really soft beds it'll just be perfect for you. Another negative point was that the person in the bedroom could hear everything that the other one did in the bathroom...
Pros: Clean place in the centre, nice host and really helpful. Good terrace and breakfast. Handy to rent the bikes there.
Cons: Bathroom and shower were separated, not so handy. Found an old sock in the heater. Rest was okay!
Pros: Not very big but comfortable and good equipped room. It has a small kitchen where you can find everything you need. There is a nice terrace at the back of the hotel. Location is great. It's on the square before the church, there are restaurants and shops all around, and the beaches are close, 5-10 min. by bike. Good breakfast but nothing special, just normal hotel breakfast. I would stay again in this hotel.
Pros: great hotel and great value for money staff were great

Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. This hotel has 10 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: there was good breakfast, fast internet, parking. It was very nice to have a normal bath with curtain
Cons: no air conditioning - it might be hot in summer.
Pros: The hotel is located very close to the sea (just behind the all-protective dunes): the beach, the local flora and fauna, are simply spectectular.
Cons: Several times we informed the reception that our room had n o t been cleaned properly (only towels put aside by us had been replaced). The reaction of a staff member at our checkout: "you should have removed the "don't disturb" card": quite an unprofessional reaction. Our stay at this phantastic hotel was not the first: remarks made previously (as the one above) apparently are not given sufficiernt follow-up, rather a weak point.
Pros: You get what you expect, a good hotel right next to the beach. No major luxury, but everything you need is there. Been here several times over the past years and have not been disappointed yet.
Cons: I was in one of the separate little houses. The place had a severe musty smell, which took a lot of airing to clear. Outside it was cold, so this was not a joy.
Pros: Lovely location great breakfast
Pros: A short walk into a busy little town with plenty of bars and eating establishments. Covered bicycle storage.
With a stay at De Herberg, you'll be centrally located in Renesse, a 2-minute drive from Renesse Beach and 8 minutes from Brouwersdam Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
Pros: Right in the center of town. Good breakfast. Bicycle storage. Comfy bed.
Cons: No coffee maker or soap in the room. Steep stairs to room. Weak wifi
Pros: Great place to stay. Brilliant hosts
Pros: Large and really good breakfast Friendly and helpful staff Possibility to rent bikes In the city center
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: Very steep stairs, but I do appreciate that this is typical of old Dutch houses. 2 very steep steps from hall into breakfast room. Our room was small and the bed was pushed into the corner so only accessible from the foot of the bed and one side, which was partially obstructed by a rafter. Fine perhaps for younger people, but we are not young! The bathroom was tiny. I think we probably had the smallest room in the hotel. We would have asked to change rooms but the hotel was full. One to be avoided if you have any mobility issues.

Pros: The building and the location of the hotel is amazing Rooms are clean and comfortable
Pros: Breakfast. Very clean room.
Cons: Uncomfortable bed
Pros: Sauna, good area, not far from the city, breakfast, most stuff was very friendly. Mostly nice...
Cons: The light in the room was not working in two lamps, carpet was dirty, but most worst I have ever seen in my life - was the bed After I paid the hotel and the extra breakfast, one woman at the reception answered in a strange way about my question how much is a breakfast extra. Well I just wanted to know and didn't insinuate that I got cheated. But as I said, beds were terrible, other things I could live with it.
Pros: I like the breakfast room and the location of the hotel.
Cons: We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Our room was not cleaned properly on the 2nd morning of our stay. On our departure lady on reception asked me was everything ok with our stay, when I complained about the room not being cleaned properly or tidied she did not appreciate my commments, however eventually she said she would pass the message to the boss.
Pros: Lovely hotel, very cosy interior and friendly staff! Excellent location to discover Renesse, about 20 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to shops and restaurants. There's also a great - but pricy - restaurant in the hotel.
Cons: We missed a water kettle and tea in the room. Bathrooms are rather basic.

Cons: Beds could be larger. But we’re very comfortable

Pros: Very nice and quiet location next to a castle and close to the village. We had a nice terrace in our room and it was perfect for my dog, which was super welcome! Nice decoration (the Orangerie is superb), enjoyable natural surroundings and super friendly staff! There’s a sauna too (free in the morning)
Cons: Maybe some improvements could be done with the isolation of the rooms (we heard our neighbours having a good time) and the cold bath after the sauna!
Pros: The breakfast was good. Not a huge range of options but enough. The location of the property is close to the center of Renesse and away from the crowds which is a plus
Cons: As always with these type of hotels with a tiny "castle" on all pictures, you don't get or hardly see it. The hotel itself is connected to the Oranjerie (which is the nicest part of the hotel, the restaurant is situated there). The hotel rooms are built on ground level and are very basic. The desk in my room was crooked and the curtains did not close completely (window broader than the curtain). Also I asked for a business invoice upfront. First they could not provide an invoice at all. Then they emailed me the wrong invoice.
Pros: Nice, cosy hotel in a quiet setting. Great breakfast
Cons: Small shower and loo and very few electric sockets.
Pros: We liked the food in the restaurant.
Cons: The beds were nog totally well
Cons: Not pet friendly. Pets not allowed in the bar. They give you the old rooms with a pet. Also, it is not a castle, but a building in a castle park. Not good value for money.
With a stay at Hampshire Hotel – Renesse in Renesse, you'll be near the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Renesse Beach and Brouwersdam Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location,people,service and great food
Cons: You can't get breakfast untill 08.00. Would be great if they could do something for breakfast a little earlier for the early risers.
Pros: The staff could not do enough to make our stay comfortable, after a long 80 mile cycle from Amsterdam we had 15 tired riders and they was very helpful with a quick check in.
Cons: The staircase was steep and with sore legs carrying cases up wasn't that pleasant.
Pros: Location Staff was very friendly at check-in Bike rental at Hotel - comfortable and well priced Nice outdoor hotel property - lots of greenery
Cons: Rooms were too simple and old-fashioned for the price
Pros: I particularly liked the personalised table for breakfast
Cons: Lack of a kettle and hairdryer in the room
Pros: location, friendly staff
Cons: room and bathroom not clean, dog poop on lawn in front of room, noisy camping ground across the street of hotel
Pros: Very clean and easy to reach hotel, located at the quiet side of Renesse, yet within easy walking distance from the centre with its restaurants and bars. Nice buffet in the morning with all one can desire as breakfast. We did not make use of the brasserie. Our room had a nice balcony with view on a small pond.
