The room is big enough and the beds comfortable. The pillows were not great but serviceable. The location is good, we could easily walk to all the main tourist sites. There is parking for €15 per day.
The shower head uses too much water and was old and erratic. Also, mini shower gels etc, unnecessary plastic. Get refillable dispensers in the rooms. The breakfast was actually not in the hotel but an adjoining café, for €3.50 you get fresh orange juice, a hot drink and a tiny roll with tomato. Don’t bother, go out and get fresh churros instead.
The ladies on reception were extremely nice & very helpful. They gave us a lot of information. Nothing was too much trouble. The Menu de Dia at €10 was very good. The room was a great size, clean & comfortable. The shower was good & hot.
The parking was in a very tight street and you had to go in a lift in your car. There was no mention of this on the booking and we were unsure when we got there, if our car would fit. Details and advice on what size car can access the carpark would be helpful.
Location was ideal and the staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was in the coffee shop attached to the hotel. There was very little choice. An improvement here would improve the hotel rating.
The only good thing about this "hotel" is location, it is very central. Fairly clean.
Uncomfortable beds with only one really thin pillow per person, beds were hard and we both kept waking up in the night feeling uncomfortable and in pain, small dark room (rooms on photos appear bright with multiple windows, we had one window that was next to the room door which you couldn't even see from the bed), was told on arrival that because we didn't call in advance and say we had a dog they had to change us from a room with double bed to a room with two single beds (it didn't say anywhere that you had to call them in advance, I can only assume that if the hotel would have been fully booked we would have been left without a room to stay in which is unacceptable). Staff were quite unpleasant and didn't seem to care at all that we weren't happy, had a bit of an attitude as well. Aircon in the room didn't work so woke up in the middle of the night really hot and had to go and open the only window we had, next time we woke up we were then too cold instead because of the low temperature outside. We only stayed for one night and left the hotel for a stroll around town in the morning, when we came back to the room an hour before checkout housekeeping had already been in our room and taken our towels so we had to phone and get new ones which took quite a while and we then had to stress a lot to check out in time because we both wanted to shower before checking out after hours of walking. I don't find it acceptable either with housekeeping coming in to our room with all of our stuff a few hours before we're checking out. Feels unpleasant. Last thing is that the hotel has very thin walls and you could hear people from different rooms and even different levels of the hotel it felt like. Nothing for those who might like some silence at night.
Location was very convenient and the daily room service and cleanliness excellent.
You can hear everyone in rooms around you.
