Staff was courteous and congenial. Check in was easy and fast. Belinda and Tamika welcomed us like family at check in. Cons: Using 2 GPS equipped devices, it was still way too difficult to get to the hotel. The actual road on which it is located is in need of signage and lighting. Upon check in, the clerk said that she was late for her job interview due to the same issue (she used GPS too). The room was noisy, due to loud neighbors. As we proceeded to breakfast I personally alerted the housekeeper already on duty that we would be returning to the room after breakfast and had not yet checked out. BTW, numerous dried food spills on the breakfast buffet buffet marred that part of the day. Returning to our room, the housekeeper had already started to clean the room, throwing away our toothbrushes. There were none available at the front desk. While prepping the navigation system in the car, just prior to departure, a random woman knocked on our car window and asked for $$$. Book this hotel at your own risk

Cons: The room wasn’t clean, the food that was supposed to be cold wasn’t and the food that wasn’t supposed to be cold was, the juices were water down, that breakfast room was dirty and not clean. When I arrived NO ONE was present that would help, I had to wait over 10 mins at 1am to get help and when “help” finally arrived he had no idea what he was doing and the guy that was there from the time I walked in until I walked out with the room keys, he refused to help us with checking in, which was extremely frustrating when you have been driving all damn day/night all what I wanted to do was check in and try to get a decent sleep before getting back on the road.

We complained about the housekeeping service and about the toilet. Nothing was done. I could go on and on. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

And when we arrived the Manager could not do enough for us she knew we were tired and stressed out. she gave us a beautiful room and was always there at our needs to see if we needed anything. the room was clean and the area was quiet. we have stayed there many times over the past 15 Years. this is one Days Inn I would recommend to everyone when your in the Goldsboro N.C.
