9,2 Excellent
Pros: The drink machine had an assortment of drinks never seen in my lifetime , even beer lol. They refunded my money for my last day that I needed to cancel because me and my fiancée were staying in Nagoya for our last night instead . Even though that too became a long drawn out drama in the end I did get my money back . Can’t wait to see my cell phone bill when I get it . The toilet was phenomenal, never seen anything like it . The maid was so sweet and polite . You never see maids like her where I’m from with that much respect . An absolute angel. The Italian front desk guy was amazing, very nice , professional and informative.
Cons: They were going to charge me ¥1000 for a lost key ! This would never happen in Canada or the U.S? That only one part time staff member knew any English . This is a very arrogant thing in the Japanese they think they don’t need to know English . I speak 3 languages on the verge of learning my 4th and I don’t consider myself above average . I don’t think it’s asking much that a hotel employee can at least get by in English, since it is the international language now ! Very disappointed in the lack of English speakers all over Japan this is disgraceful and disgusting. No English tv channels , but the room in Tokyo ( Narita ) did . I’m sure this won’t change any time soon .

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpfull, the room is nice and comfortable and there are all the necessary amenities.
Cons: The hotel is placed in large shopping/mall area clearly build for car travel, you need to take a train from fukui station (not included in JR pass) and then walk over the large parking lot/shopping area/streets with basicaly no sidewalks/crossings

Pros: Excellent service, clean and quiet place
Cons: Location is a bit far from the station... around 10-15 min walking
7,1 Good
Pros: Staff speaks English, the hotel is clean.
Cons: The toilet looks like from a hotel half the price of this one or less. Mirror too low to see my face, etc. Even when one puts outside "do not make up my room" and "do not disturb", they leave new tolietries etc., in a bag on the door knob, which is far from eco, not up to today's standards.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent. Morning walk by the river is refreshing. Restaurant and night life is just a couple of blocks away. The mall is within walking distance and yet far enough from the crowd. Good staffs and very helpful.
Cons: None.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to katamatchi street where you can find so many restaurants. Also 7 minutes walk to Fukui station
5,8 Okay
Pros: Very clean and convenient location.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Although it is not just next to the station (10 mins walking distance) I can still say the hotel is centerally located. There is a convenient store just near the hotel and few of the restaurants in the city are closely located. The room was spacious, especially compared to other single rooms in Japan.
Cons: Almost nothing. Only problem might be related to the elevators (not a big one). Although there are 3 of them servicing to the guest room levels, sometime it takes pretty long to catch one. Considering the hotel was not that much crowded and I was alone in the elevator most of the time, this is a bit strange.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Efficiency
Cons: Not enough parking space at the hotel.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
7,9 Good
Pros: The readiness of Staff service mind when asking support when requested. e.g. maid and front staff. Quick serve.

7,5 Good
Pros: Staff are very nice and helpful, many Japanese stay in this hotel. However, the location is a bit far from the JR station, need to took 10-15 mins walk to there. As i got the backpack and raining on that day, seems too long for me.
7,9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was a nice value, and you could choose either a Western or Japanese style. The onsen was very relaxing and there was also a massage chair that you can use for free.
Cons: The distance was a little far from the station, but in a good restaurants area.
6,3 Good
Pros: On the good side, smiling and eager to help front staff. The view from the room was not bad, glancing on the city's lights with little obstructions from nearby buildings. I wish I had more time to enjoy the delicious breakfast!
Cons: Bed was somewhat stiff. Room was clean enough from a cleanliness point of view, but I'd also point out a need of maintenance here and there (not limiting to the room). Lastly, I had seen far better rooms for less, and in more appealing places nonetheless.

Cons: Breakfast was a little short on selections
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Public bath
Cons: A bit too expensive
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Friendly staff.
Cons: A small room with a huge TV. Little space for putting stuff.
5,8 Okay
Pros: It's comfortable in mostly part. Not far from fukui station. Close to de castle and 2 elevators
Cons: The staff spoke really little English. I saw a woman in front of me and she had a discount, when I asked about the receptionist didn't understand. The cleaning is just normal, but you can find dirty spots around the bed and the toilet. Other point don't have the second sheet, so I don't trust is daily changed it. It's expensive ( like 70 CAD) for just a night without breakfast. Other same size cities you can find for 50 CAD. And the TV don't have any instructions in English. And that point I freaking out with some part of TV because my app accused its a spy camera. I couldn't call for reception because no one will understand, so I needed to cover it for have a good rest.
6,3 Good
Pros: There was plenty of places to eat around the hotel
Cons: The rooms were tiny, even for Japanese standards, 2 people struggled to stay in a double room, we could barely move
6,3 Good
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Very small and bed is very soft.
