Location, very good, close to high street
Room was to small for two people
Great location, right in the centre of fort William. Nice communal area, we'd hired a guide for winter climbing and he was able to get in to meet us in the morning and discuss our plans for the day inside at a table before we went out.
Room keys; i have never stayed in a place where you handed your room key back at reception every time you were leaving and just asked for your room key again on arrival, no check of who I was, just room number and keys handed out. We had an issue one day where staff member was away and had to wait 5-10 mins for them to reappear to get our key, not ideal after a day hiking. Felt insecure, and had a large sign warning you not to leave any valuables in rooms etc. Kitchen is small and quite cramped if more than one person is trying to do anything, we had difficulty trying to make tea while someone else was cooking their breakfast. Carpark is very small and cramped, we were day for a few days and were not planning on using our car, on arrival was told carpark was underneath the accommodation but that there may not be space there and that there was a paid public carpark just across the road. We were lucky and managed to get a space but only space for about 4 or 5 cars in the carpark. Bathroom door was very sticky, would occassionnaly refuse to open. Very expensive for what we got.
Great location right in centre of town. Staff all very friendly. Free parking underneath hotel. Fast WiFi. Shower good pressure. Bed soft but comfortable.
Reasonly priced ,happy with the accommodation
The staff were all very friendly and happy to answer any questions.
