This was our first stay at the Pillars, it was magical! From the moment of check in when we met with Faye, she was very nice, professional and informative. The room was adequate size, very comfortable, the bed was also comfy, the shower was perfect! The on site amenities were great from the big green lizard by the pool to the lounges with big cushions it was perfect. The fact that the intercoastal is steps away and the beach is a quick golf cart trip away was so convenient. Breakfast was awesome. Something for everyone! Note: the only downside to our stay was the threat of Hurricane Dorian which actually cut our trip short. Again, Faye at the front desk was great as she refunded us back for the nights we missed. We needed to get back to New York before we got stuck. Anyway we only stayed one night but we WILL most definitely be back.
Nothing, DO NOT change a thing!
We loved the location and the size and quality of the hotel. Since the hotel only has 16 rooms and the staff members were few, the service was very friendly and personal. We loved to have our meals on the deck close to the canal. We were very surpriced to find such a charming and well-kept old style colonial hotel in the middle of touristy Fort Lauderdale. We also highly appreciated that we were allowed to use one of the rooms, without beeing charged, after check-out the last day, since our flight back to Norway was 11 pm. And of course we loved the swimmingpool and the calming music played on low volume outdoors.
We were completely surprised with the Pillars Hotel. It honestly shocked us at how accommodating they were. The entire staff went above and beyond. We happen to be there the night of a themed dinner party. The live music and food were fabulous. We said that from now on out we will always stay at the Pillars. Think old school retro Florida. You feel like you step back in time but still have all the modern luxuries.
Nice and clean. Great location. Quiet and relaxed. Good restaurant. Nice pool area.
The carpets on the floor.
Clean. Does not smell like a hotel. Top notch staff, friendly and efficient.
There is nothing not to like.
