Overview Reviews
Weve been a vital part of the Fort Collins community for over 95 years. In spring 2019, we underwent thoughtful renovations to bring renewed luster to our guestrooms and public spaces, while respecting our history and longevity. The individually unique guest rooms and suites are designed purposefully with comfort and convenience in mind, boasting the perfect combination of luxury and charm for an at-home feel. Our team love sharing their passion for Fort Collins, ensuring you have a personalized, memorable stay. If youre keen to explore the town, ask us for a complimentary bicycle. And dont be surprised if you come downstairs and find weve set up an impromptu cocktail tasting or theres a jazz guitarist playing in the corner. Thats just the way we do things here. Centrally located in Old Town Fort Collins, the hotel is just one mile from Colorado State University and nearby to the Poudre Canyon and Rocky Mountain National Park offering ample adventure hiking, fishing, rafting and biking all within minutes of the hotel. With Fort Collins earning the reputation of the beer capital of Colorado, the hotel is conveniently located near popular craft breweries and tasting rooms. We are immensely proud to be home to some of Fort Collins favorite neighborhood haunts. Mugs Coffee Lounge is a locally owned, family-operated coffee shop (popular with the college crowd). Choice City Butcher is renowned for its deli and draft beer offerings. For a create-your-own stir fry, try HuHot Mongolian Grill. And our favorite, check out Ace Gilletts, offering a speakeasy-style, remarkable craft cocktails, a gastro-bite menu and live music. Looking to relax a bit? Stop by Amara Massage Therapy & Wellness offers a menu of relaxing spa services with various massage techniques, including relaxation, deep tissue, sports, and pre-natal/post-partum massage. Additional spa services include hydration therapy, various scrubs and masques, aromatherapy, and a private steam shower area.

Pros: The room surprised me by having a microwave & small refrigerator included. The property is adjacent to CSU’s campus, making it easy to meet up with children that are students there, or walking to the football game. In addition you can walk to downtown (old downtown) where you’ll find all the fun restaurants & bars. It’s a long 9 block+ walk but very doable! Otherwise you may drive 1 minute away or call an Uber. We did not partake in the complimentary breakfast but would on another stay. Very friendly property!

Pros: The hotel was within walking distance of the location where I had to be while in Ft Collins. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was helpful and courteous.
Cons: The hotel was extremely overpriced. Over $--- a night is the highest price I have paid for a hotel room and I have traveled extensively for work. There were only two vending machines. Onedid not work. I will not stay here the next time in Ft Collins.
7,5 Good
Pros: Dog friendly and great location
Cons: Bed was not comfortable at all.
7,5 Good
Pros: The reception staff is very courteous and friendly. Included breakfast. Coffee available around the clock.
Cons: The bathroom was substandard. Reason: there is no grab bar in the tub and combined with the poor anti slip quality of the tub it makes it a high risk for falling. We placed a towel in the tub to make us feel more secure. The soap dispenser was empty, but they provided small soap bars. The air conditioner unit was extremely tempermental. At arrival the room (facing West) was hot and stuffy.

Cons: You have got to be kidding. The Comfort Inn Suites is very clean, updated, spacious, and, did I mention friendliness of the staff. It has been many years since I felt the genuine happiness of employees, from housekeeping, the maintenance dept and especially Mitchell who was quick with a welcoming smile at the front desk.

Pros: Simple check in. No parking fee
Cons: One entry door was not working (had a note up).
6,0 Good
Pros: The room was nice and roomy. The breakfast was nice with nice selections.
Cons: Our room had a Noisy heater. Very hard to adjust to keep the temperature accurate. Be nice to have a thermostat. I think someone could make better sausage and gravy. The biscuits were good, but the gravy bland.
5,4 Okay
Pros: It's a dog-friendly hotel.
Cons: When we checked in, the TV in our room didn't work & wasn't fixed for about 3 hours. We were told that management was aware of our situation and that our bill would be discounted, but when we received it on the morning of checkout, there was no discount.
6,7 Good
Pros: Large clean room. The king size bed was excellent, very comfortable. Staff was very gracious.
Cons: Unfortunately the shade portion of the window covering (inside) was broke. The television did not work properly. When turned on (with the remote) the DirecTV logo displayed on the screen however could not select anything. HVAC control was not automatic therefore it ran constantly all night in the A/C position.
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: Dirty lobby, slow check in, rumpled bed, no TV, breakfast platters empty
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating of a late check out request. The bed was super comfortable! Free breakfast, chocolate chip cookies and parking were nice perks, too. The location is near a lot of stores and restaurants and a few miles to CSU campus and Old Town.
Cons: The hotel fronts a busy street so we had street noise all night and particularly loud starting at 6am with commuters. I used ear plugs our second night. The ac is the old style wall unit so that noise will either bother you or cover the street noise.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We were traveling with our kids. Our room was clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good, both hot and cold options. Pool was small but perfect for our young kids.
Cons: Near a a busy street, so you could hear some car noise; but most hotels usually are near major roads, and it wasn’t too bad to us.

Pros: No surprises.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Broken sleeper sofa. Had tI go buy a air mattress so 3rd adult had somewhere to sleep.
6,0 Good
Pros: breakfast was fine. Could of been stocked better. Had the same thing daily. Makes a person wonder if its just reheated every day. Location was close to interstate so made for easy access in and out.
Cons: The place could use a make over. The halls are dark and dingy looking. Fresh coat of paint would do wonders! The beds are way too soft and over used. Pillows aren't pillows, they are a bunch of stuffing stuffed into a case. Way over used. Had a coffee maker in room that didn't work. Put a note right on it that stated that it didn't work for house keeping to see. Thought a different one that worked would be left in its place. Not! it wasn't even removed from the room. It stayed right where we left it, on the counter by the bathroom with the same note on it!!

Pros: Worse experience EVER.
Cons: Stayed in room 220. When we walked into the room it’s like we were slapped in face with a God awful smell. We asked for a different room but they said they were booked. They gave us TWO different cans of air fresheners. We asked for the manger and they told us they would contact us in the morning, they never did. The front desk clerk called after we left in the morning for an event in town, she had the worst communication skills. She said they would let us check out with no penalty. We asked for a refund for the previous night and she said ok and then she hung up without saying anything. We were so confused and upset. We drove straight back to the hotel packed up our things. I went to pack up while husband asked for the manager. He got the owner instead who told him the room didn’t stink because, wait for it, smell is a preference. He told her it smelled like death. She was rude and dismissive and said there was no way we would get refund for the previous night. She definitely doesn’t value a customer. We went to lunch later and our daughter leaned over and told me my jacket smelled...all of our clothes smelled like that room. It was a terrible experience.

Pros: Eva, the owner, was competent and remedied a wrongful situation. She did process the return quickly. However, I would have liked to see something extra to make me feel made whole.
Cons: When I checked in, I had pre-paid through booking through an app called “Snap Travel” that Kayak referrer me to. Despite showing the check-in clerk three forms of payment receipt through the app, she took my card from my hand and charged it without my permission to pay again directly through the hotel. I disputed it with her immediately, showed her email receipts and even my bank statements. She acted cavalier and as if I was in the wrong. She charged my card with impunity and refused to listen. I felt trapped; I needed the room, but I was being completely devalued as a customer. In the morning, when we tried to fix the situation with a gentleman clerk, rather than refund my card, he “accidentally” Charged my card again. I had now paid three times for the room! I do not feel safe with how my money was handled. The cavalier attitude about charging me time and time again, treating me as if i was in the wrong, made me seriously reconsider my decision to give them my business. First and foremost, I recommend never using Snap Travel. Second, i recommend proceeding with extreme caution with Days Inn.
7,9 Good
Pros: the breakfast are all ready to heat up in the microwave as needed. YOu do have to wait for your chance to warm up but they had a great folded egg omelette. Wish other hotels had these. More hot sauce packets are needed though :) The receptionist at the desk is also the breakfast room attendant, but she did a great job. The breakfast room is a bit small and could get crowded. A hotel administration guy had his computer and paperwork all spread out on one table.... wasn't too smart...he would come and go from table leaving all his stuff there. People having to perch and eat.
Cons: Looked liked a hotel administration guy had his laptop and paperwork all spread out on one table.... wasn't too smart...he would come and go from table leaving all his stuff there. People having to perch elsewhere to eat.

Cons: Room was a little warm.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Slow drain in bath tub
6,7 Good
Pros: It’s a convenient location.
Cons: There was no heat available in the rooms. It was four days before October and chilly, but I was told there was no heat in the building this time of year. You warmed up by running a hot shower. Breakfast was the cheapest of cheap, not hot. For example the waffles are not made in a counter top machine, but are freezer waffles wrapped in plastic and toasted. Coffee was good.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: clean, affordable, nice shower!
Cons: Nothing

1,0 Poor
Pros: The front desk clerk was nice
Cons: the Floor was wet from mopping and kept sleeping water from between the tiles creating unexpected slick spots. There was hair all over the bathroom as if it wasn't swept before being mopped. The bed was so hard that I didn't sleep at all. WORST BED EV
7,9 Good
Pros: Good value for a quick overnight stay.
Cons: A bit dated.
1,0 Poor
Pros: We would've liked the large Jacuzzi tub in the room if it wasn't dirty when we got there.
Cons: The majority of the staff were apathetic and rude. I called at 12pm on the 26th to confirm that I could check in early morning on the 28th, and I was told the room would be available for an early check in for an additional fee. I arrived at 6am on the 28th, tired from a 20 hour drive, I was exhausted and just wanted a shower and to sleep. I was told the room had been rented and that apparently there was no room available for us to even rest in while they prepared our room. We were told our room wouldn't be available until after 1pm. We slept in a hot car until they made the only room that was apparently available to us. When we finally got into the room it was dirty, the floors had debris and the sheets had stains, the bedskirt had filth on it and the bathroom had what appeared to be muddy footprints on the floor. At check out I was charged a $20 additional fee for each night when I was told that to upgrade the room would be an additional $15 per night. The continental breakfast was unavailable to us the first morning we went over to have it. There was very little left available when we got there at 9am and we were told that they only put out so much each morning and that we'd have to get there earlier. We went elsewhere for breakfast the next day.

Pros: Front desk staff was responsive and breakfast was ready as expected (also, better than expected).
Cons: We didn’t get maid service at all one day, never received replacement cups without going to the front desk, etc.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice clean room. Staff was accomidating. One problem no elevator. We were traveling with my nearly 80 year old mother who has vision difficulties and my hubby who has foot drop from a back surgery, but other than that no issues. We would stay again.
6,7 Good
Pros: Check in was easy, the front desk personnel were kind, room was nice, bed was nice, AC worked well.
Cons: When Labor Day is past hotels in Colorado should provide both cooling for Colorado days (can be in the 90's) and heating for Colorado nights (can be in the low 40's) no matter what! The other 4 hotels I've stayed in here did! I awoke at 1:00 am to find my room very cool and when I tried the heating it didn't work. I inquired about this at the front desk (at 1:30 am) and was told that the heat was shut off and had not been turned on for the season. There was snow in the mountains the day before my stay (September 12th) and the temp dropped to 45 degrees outside my window. SO IF YOU WANT TO STAY WARM AT NIGHT in this hotel ASK ABOUT IF THE HEAT IS ON! Other than catching a cold it was a good stay!

Pros: The location
Cons: There were lots of areas that needed to be repainted. Even though the room was fully “renovated” the carpet was already loose and carpet “bubbles” were forming. There was a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom. The room was dark even with all the lights on.
