Very isolated-without a car one needed taxis; the area immediately surrounding the hotel very unappealing! It was not made clear in the publicity that the Pools are open to paying public and get very busy.I'd not class the hotel as 4 star
The hotel is close to scavi Herculaneum and Vesui. Difficult to find ...glad I had my GPS. The hotel need a make over. But we got a room with view to the bay of naples. The pool area is nice - but cost money to enter for longer time- we went in free for half an hour. I arrived from Naples airport about 9 pm - and it was nice the restaurant was open outdoor to the sea and Naples i the background - nice viwe.
It needs a make over.
the location at the sea and the vieuws are nice. The room is acceptable.Close to the vesuvius and pompei.
It was very difficult to find and in the middle off the dirty suburbs (do not trust the GPS or you are lost in to narrow and ugly streets). Hotel needs urgently an upgrade. The hotel is in need off some paint and new wallpapers. Restaurant was closed. Very poor breakfast. This not a four star hotel, perhaps it is in very dirty and chaotic Naples. The beach has big rocks no sand.
The hotel is in a splendid location, the rooms have a wonderful private terrace on the sea, the view of the Neaple's gulf is breth taking. Rooms were large, very confortable and peaceful. Hotel staff always professional and helping with local arrangements and logistics.
You can see the ocean from the window.
In the room the curtain rod is in the way of the door to the balcony. I had to take down the curtain rod to go out to the balcony. The pool looked dirty. The bath towels were very thin, like large cloth napkins. The neighborhood nearby is very dirty, there is trash everywhere.
A comfortable hotel ideally located to visit Herculaneum etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good but breakfast buffet was a bit limited.
The opening times of the indoor pool meant that families could only swim together in the middle of the day. This should have been made clearer. The hotel itself was an oasis in the middle of a fairly grotty part of town. There was rubbish piled up on the streets/ roads in the streets around the hotel etc.
The location is very good in front os the sea.
Hot water in morning was not there due to works being carried out.
amazing view of the Gulf of Napoli...close to Herculaneum site...a perfect stopover on our way to Amalfi...Hotel staff was very accomodating (we found some mould in our room and we were quickly switched to another...thanks Nello!)..there is a little restaurant 2 minutes away where we had the best meal on our trip; we had takeaway and ate on our 3rd floor terrace (seafood pasta and grilled swordfish and prawns)...I would gladly stay here again for a few more days
There was an interesting practice for a Sunday in Ercolana...the hotel seems to have the only public pool in town, so starting at 8am at least 250 locals arrive to enjoy the day..if you were thinking of a quiet, lazy Sunday by the pool it may be a challenge...Also, the entire hotel could use a bit of a facelift as the decor seemed tired and dated
The view, the room, the staff, and the pools, all excellent!
