So soPros:The car reservation was for $31 but I needed up paying $40 a day for insurance. It was ridiculous. Not to mention I ended up stopping at a service station and they checked all my fluids just for me to find out that the brake fluid was extremely low (dangerously low). This was concerning considering I was driving through mountains and steep cliffs.Reviewed Dec 17 2017

Incomplete informationCons:The mandatory minimum insurance fees added 100% to the total cost. I was not the only customer shocked by this. Because the car I reserved was not available, I received an upgrade, still barely able to go up hills.Reviewed Jan 20 2016

brand new Daihatsu Terios holds up admirably on CoPros:4WD proved to be more useful than we expected. Drove nearly 1000 km with no problems.Cons:Surprise mandatory insurance that added 52% to the rental cost. Insurance from one's credit card is apparently not good enough. Too bad the mandatory insurance isn't included in the quote.Reviewed Jan 6 2016

Lots of hidden charges...Cons:they said that insurance was required by law...that is never mentioned anywhere on kayak...they then conned me by getting me to pre-purchase gas...by the end of it, a rental that was quoted as $35 for two days turned out to be $145...very dissappointed with the lack of transparencyReviewed Apr 11 2016

Good car, but that doesn't change the fact they liPros:Economical car but got screwed on insurance like always.Cons:What I didn't like and I'm not sure who's fail it is but kayak sold me insurance that I paid for and enterprise didn't accept it. So I paid more for my insurance than I did for the car. Again; maybe it was Kayak who shafted me or maybe it was enterprise but they should be upfront in pricing instead of lying to people and then screwing them with 3xs the cost of the car for the insurance.Reviewed Feb 7 2016

They did not accept the insurancePros:NothingCons:Enterprise said they did not accept the insurance and wanted to charge another insurance (USD50/day). I did not take the car and went to another company. Kayak's insurance seems to be a scheme!Reviewed Jun 22 2016

Pros:Staff was greatCons:Our car was a total piece of junk. The rental was inexpensive but I had no idea we were signing of for what seemed like a 10 yr old beat up car.Reviewed Mar 16 2019

Pros:Good Car, upgraded from basic for free Helpful employeeCons:Much much higher price than quoted online. Little to no information on all the extra fees on website or by phone/email. Why keep it such a secret?Reviewed May 2 2018

Hard to deal withCons:We rented an SUV, which we found out was a very small 2 door SUV...smaller than many cars. The guy said it was $40/day to upgrade us to a normal size SUV, and he could do it for $20/day, but no cheaper. We asked if we could just make a new reservation, and he said no, it takes 24 hours. I made a new reservation on Kayak anyway, which was $8 more than the original for all 5 days, and rented that way. But I felt taken advantage of from the start, like the guy tried to bully me into paying lots more for a bigger car. I might expect this from a smaller company, but expected more consistent customer service from Enterprise. It would also be nice to know about the significant liability insurance that is required but not included in the price.Reviewed May 4 2016
