The staff was very kind.
The room was terrible... absolutely filthy holes in our towels, black stuff in the shower, the walls were disgusting all through out the room. We didn’t have a way for heat or a/c so we had to sleep with the windows cracked and if it got too cold we had to pull the blinds over them... holes in our bedding.. it was truly nothing like the pictures on booking or their website.. very very disappointed. We stayed in 5 different cities during our visit in Scotland and loved every B&B or hotel we visited with the exception of this one..
Location was excellent and perfect for what our group needed. i.e close to Haymarket, Murrayfield and the City Centre. Couldn't fault it.
The breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful
There were some problems with room eg fire alarm beeping, TV fluctuating reception
Bed pushed up against wall Couldn’t get into bed from one side So small the rooms were Very very old which isn’t a problem not kept updated needs a lot of repairs and painting etc
Brilliant location in the city and nice courtyard out the back, friendly staff.
Parking, as always in Edinburgh is expensive and a bit of a faff if you're staying more than the one night.
