Really great staff, good location, nice breakfast
Room was very small with awful outlook
Staff very helpful and friendly service in the morning for breakfast was very nice cant fault anything about the hotel and staff
Stayed in a deluxe room on 2nd floor with nice view of the castle. Breakfast was tasty and good value.
Traffic noise going past was quite loud. Room was quite hot. Advertised as there being a sofa bed in room but there was not one, so we had to request an extra bed instead. The extra bed bed was not suitable for a toddler as it had a hard wooden end with sharp corners and no headboard.
On the next morning we went out and came back the rooom hadn’t been cleaned so we asked reception and was told it would be cleaned I am not very happy as the rooom was never poperly cleaned so I wouldn’t be recommending this hotel to anyone and would not stay at double tree Hilton .For the money you pay you accept better overall service .Was very disappointed
Very spacious room with nicely appointed furniture. Beautiful view of the Castle from the room. Nicely located near Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle so close to popular tourist sites. Desk staff were extremely welcoming and helpful Really impressed by how pleasant everyone was. Breakfast was well done and reasonably priced.
Unfortunately, while the hotel is nicely situated for tourists, the neighborhood is a little sketchy. Lots of closed businesses, pole dancing school (?) and generally run-down.
