Dijon hotels near Jardin Darcy

Pros: The rooms were great, the staff was very friendly, it was in a great location and the bed was comfortable.

Cons: The sauna smelled a bit weird but it may just be the cleaners they use here. The parking is very very tight (we drove a full sized car and had difficulty parking)

Pros: The swimming pool was good for a quick dip at the end of a long day travelling. Hotel was clean and modern. Easy to find and walking distance to the center. Would recommend Dijon for a stopover - lots to see.

Cons: The hotel underground parking has a height restriction of 1.9 meters. There is no where locally in a car park (we checked all nearby car parks) that will take a car with a roof box (all have height limits). We had to park on the street near the hotel. There were a lot of homeless people in the area as the municipal park is nearby and the car (with contents) didn't feel safe at night. We probably should have stayed at a hotel further out with its own ground level secure parking.

Pros: The staff were friendly, the breakfast very good value. Location in between train station and city centre is perfect. The room was very comfortable and bathroom had a bench to put things.

Cons: Long delay at checkin. Coffee machine was broken

Cons: toilet is right next to the bed in a small cubicle with no washbasin so not very private. Also shower not obscured very well so not great for some people

Pros: Loved everything about this hotel - location, ease of parking, staff, modern rooms and baths, breakfast and price! Five minute walk to old town (centre ville). The place to stay when visiting Dijon.

Pros: Excellent value for location. Loft-like room with TV, small sofa, eating table, efficiency kitchen and good-size bathroom. Nothing fancy but works if looking for a clean, convenient, low-cost place to stay in Dijon. No housekeeping every day and light on towels and toiletries.

Cons: Could have used a few more towels and toiletries, such as shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Hair dryer very low power.

Pros: Great location right in the heart of town. Small but nice rooms with big windows and views.

Cons: First room was not clean and had drapes ripped off the wall. Was quickly given a second room but card key system for electricity wasn't explained so I didn't have power the first night. Great potential for this place but not very user friendly.

Pros: Location was super! Parking was available close by. The staff was great. The rooms were nice, spacious and quite. The place was clean, beds comfortable.

Cons: Not a big deal, but the pillows were very big. We like them more flat.

Pros: Absolutely great location in the heart of city center. Monoprix grocery down the street. Room was clean. Shampoo/body wash provided. Some basic kitchen wear, fridge, microwave, kitchenette in room. I feel like it was a great value for what the room and location offered. An easy 10 minute walk from train station or less -- practically a straight, level line.

Cons: The shower door location was a bit in the way to turn the faucet on with the sink right next to it. An ironing board in the room would have been helpful. Hallways are well-worn and dated, if that's a deal breaker for you.

Pros: The modern elevator, the newly renovated apartments, that all apartments have kitchenettes. Juice, coffee, hot chocolate, mineral water, cookies and cakes are free for guests from 3 -7 PM. in the breakfast room.

Cons: Everything was perfect. I stayed here two years ago and was glad to be back.

Pros: The location was superb. It is centrally located in a wonderful walking area. The room was large and comfortable with a small kitchenette.

Cons: The hallways were warn and dirty. The hotel says that it has parking, but there are only three spaces. Everyone else needs to go to a public parking garage.

Pros: Location very good, easy to get to on outskirts of a busy city with bonus free underground parking on site. Staff very helpful, on a tram stop so very easy to do the Dijon walking tour. Rooms and all areas very modern and crisp, lots of lifts.

Cons: It is a chain hotel and used by lots of business people, therefore all drinks etc are pricey by french standards, we asked for a bottle of champagne in the room for a friend’s birthday, it was 90 euros but with a few free nibbles. Breakfast at 19.50 euros meant we ate out while doing the walking tour!

Pros: Excellent stop over hotel very close to the centre of Dijon. Perfect location for whoever travels across france and wants a secure parking place where to keep the car. Great comfort and excellent staff.

Cons: Maybe just the breakfast could be slightly improved but it's just a tiny comment in an overall excellent stay.

Pros: Really impressed with the receptionist's who went out of their way to help with bookings ahead. Extremely patient and helpful.

Pros: Close to city sights. Has on-site parking if you don’t want to risk parking on the street. Nice staff.

Cons: Old building so some rooms (ours) compromised by sloping roof. Roof line took away useable room space; you just need to be aware of it.

Pros: DIjon is worth more than an overnight!!!!!! Wilson is about a 10 min. walk into the main part of town.

Pros: Georgious old property in top quality condition. Plenty of space in the room and in the modern bathroom. Very comfortable room and bed, slept well. Easy 10 miniute walk to historic center. Pleasant ant complete introduction to the property and room by the reception person. Secure parking in the internal courtyard.

Cons: Unfortunately the shower sucks! The size of the shower from the picture looks promising, but after 2 nights at the hotel....I still don't know how to turn on/off the shower

Pros: The hotel is in a very nice location. Central and easy to reach. It is in a pretty old building with a lot of character. The room was fairly big and bathroom clean.

Cons: The room was supposed to have views to the garden but in reality it had views on a roof full of air conditioning units. That's a bit deceiving... At 6 am in the morning the fire alarm went off. We waited a few minutes to see if the hotel staff was calling the room to ensure it was a genuine alarm. We didn't received any call so we decided to get dressed and get out. Once almost in reception we were told somebody activated the alarm by mistake. They should have ensured we were informed straight away by calling the room. At check out we were expecting better apologies and perhaps a compensation but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Overall we were quite disappointed with our stay.

Cons: Music in the bar. Jazz is better than rap for a 4 start hotel with facade that is 400 years old.

Pros: Great location, good staff. We parked in a public car park right opposite the hotel which was very convenient. The superior room we had was in the old part of the hotel and had a high ceiling with great wooden beams. The restaurant we used was just across the street and the main centre of town close by. The bar was quite fun too.

Cons: I'm not a fan of thick carpets in hotel rooms, but that is just my choice.
