The staff was great and the bed was comfortable.
I expected some services to be closed or limited, but to have nothing at all available (except a grab and go snack service) and to have access to garden closed off was very disappointing. Also would have been good to have something on website. Additionally, room was not clean and the lights on the end tables did not have switches to turn on or off. I attempted to call the Guest Service line from the room but the phone just rang and rang with no answer.
We were highly upset after calling ahead to make sure our room was ready for a romantic important weekend. We were reassured everything was all set for our arrival, even up until an hour before we arrived, we got in very late and tired after a long drive only to be told we had no room and they overlooked the hotel. All they could do was send us to another facility. Then they tried to tell us to come back for the second night. We were not going to stress about spending our weekend moving back and forth. We went to bed super late and hungry. We didn't even get to eat because everything was closed and they couldn't get us any food.
hotel is wonderful for conferences
The rooms could use some updating
Everything was great.
Hilton Anatole is situated just north of downtown Dallas. The hotel covers 45 acres and is in the beautiful Design District. Here, visitors are just minutes away from some of the city's best art galleries, museums, and restaurants. Nearby standouts include Trinity Groves, The American Airlines Center, Crow Museum of Asian Art and the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. If guests want to explore the city a bit more, Hilton Anatole is just five minutes from the Downtown and Uptown neighborhoods, each with their own personality and attractions.
On-site, there are plenty of reasons to stay around the hotel. Hilton Anatole's premier attraction is the Jadewaters Resort Pool. This miniature aquatic park features a lazy river, a leisure pool, a kid's splash zone, luxury cabanas for the adults and two 180-foot slides. Inside, there is the Verandah Club and Spa, which offers massages and a sauna experience.
Visitors will eventually get hungry, and while there are plenty of great options in Dallas, Hilton Anatole has some excellent restaurants right on the property. The most popular is SÄ’R, an authentic Dallas steakhouse. The restaurant sits at the top of the hotel and offers a breathtaking view of the city's skyline. The menu is filled with delicious Texas steaks along with pork chops, seafood, and hand-crafted specialty cocktails. Other dining options include Terrace open-air cafe, Media Grill + Bar, Gossip Bar, and Counter Offer, the quick service bakery with sandwiches and other to-go items.
Since Hilton Anatole is located next to the Dallas Design District, the hotel has formed its own art collection with over 1,000 individual pieces available for viewing. For business travelers, the hotel also features 600,000 sq ft of event space and meeting rooms.
