Location beautiful, food absolutely to die for in both restuarants and spa amazing. came away feeling totally spoilt and relaxed. Rooms nice, but for the price perhaps a little on the small side - even the delux. Ensuite bathrooms fine though. Staff were extremely professional. if you can break the bank, try the exquisite wine list at the Park. This si not a cheap place, but worth the spend.
The staff were extremely welcoming, the bedroom was beautifully decorated, breakfast in bed was delicious
The staff and the food were excellent
Friendliness and helpfulness of all staff, overall high quality, excellent food and fantastic spa facilities.
The only thing we could pick fault with was the fact that we were chraged twice for a bottle of wine (once in the restaurant and then also charged to our room) and we were also charged for coffee that we did not order. This just caused a bit of confusion when it came to paying the bill but the staff did sort it out eventually and we were not charged.
It was above our expectations
Just about every single aspect of this hotel was amazing! The staff were ultra polite & helpful without being irritating or obtrusive, a special place for a special occasion!
Only one small thing - as a smoker I try to be a responsible one. Looked for outside ashtrays to dispose of finished cigarette but found none. I had to save them in a box and dispose of them once I got into Bath! The grounds are beautifully kept and I'm sure discretely placed Georgian metal ashtrays could be located outside.
The beautiful grounds; the comfortable lounges and attentive service.
I felt there were few treats provided for a 5star hotel. Limited toiletries for a three day stay, only two glasses to use in the bedroom and no offer of a hospitality tray for our use in the room. Only pencils to use in the room, no pen, no chocolate left when the bed was turned down for the night - that sort of extra service normally associated with 5*. Also I do not like my breakfast toast served as I am getting my cereal - toast should be hot when you eat it and guests should be asked when they want it served.
Wow, this place is heavan on a stick, the facilities, tennis court, spa, swimming pool and the grounds over 500 areas of beautiful country side. The staff and the food are both excellent. Close to Bath, Castle Combe Village. This has to be the best place we have stayed, throught our 7 week tour through the UK. Highly recommend for a special occassion or just wantin to indulge yourself
