Perfect Car for PEIWe rented the smallest car size. It was an almost new Nissan Versa Note and while it doesn't have a ton of power the highest speed limit on any road we were on was 90KPH. While the trunk area was quite small, the back seats were easy to drop down so that made up for it. The car worked out great

Really surprised that the Hertz counter wasn't open on a Saturday. Your sign said to drop keys off in the parking lot - after we had already dragged our luggage from the parking lot to the counter. I didn't see a sign in the parking lot about dropping keys off there and we were not told when we picked up the keys that this is what we should have done. Disappointed that the SUV was only a 4-cylinder too......... otherwise, everything was fine.

Unclear specifications for rentalThe car we eventually received was clean and in excellent conditionBe warned. When they say taxes and fees included. They by NO means mean all taxes and fees. Read the fine print ladies and gents. When I arrived to pick up the car we were informed of MANY extra charges. If you want an extra driver it is an extra 25-35$ per PER DAY. If you want full insurance coverage it is an extra 20-35$ a day PER DRIVER. If you are under 25 it is and extra 25-35$ a day PER DRIVER. When we arrived .to pick up the rental csr, I was informed that I would be unable to actually rent the car unless I rebooked it under a credit card with the main drivers name. I intended to be the sole driver, and do not have a credit card under my name. We had to completely rearrange our trip so that the person with the credit card was the main driver of the csr. Once that was all re arranged, we were invoiced almost 400$ for a car rental that we had booked for around 85$ online . Pretty ridiculous. I'm sure there are lots of details I have left out, feel frree to ask

The worker in Charlottetown woke up at three in the morning to male sure I got my car which I desperately needed to transport my baby in. Also was able to easily extend the time with the car.

Friendliness of the Hertz agent. The car was great!When we dropped off the car it was not clear if we needed to wait for an agent. When one didn't appear, we parked and left the keys in the car and reported to the agent in the airport. Turned out we should have brought back the keys but the agent didn't require us to go back and pick up the keys. It would have been good if the agent at the time of pick-up had advised us of how to drop-off the car.

Staff was friendly. Came in late at night after I missed a connection flying in. Gave me my choice of available cars and all were nice and almost new.I couldn't figure out how to drop the car off and almost missed my flight home (just park the car and take the key and paperwork inside to the hertz/thrifty counter) Not a big deal.

The young man who worked for Avis but was covering for Budget at the Charlottetown airport was exceptional. Friendly, kind and understanding. He helped me when we took our car in to trade and was so nice to my entire group. Quick drop off when we returned the vehicle.Our Jeep Cherokee had mechanical problems so we lost a day because we had to turn back from a day trip to exchange the vehicle.
