We cancelled this vehicle via phone call and on line. We are still being charged for the car.Accept a cancellation by phone and via online and refund charged fees to the customer in a timely fashion.

Pickup experience was a nightmare and I was placed into a dirty car.Speed at checkout. They should have cleaned the car... esp during Covid. They should have placed me into a different car if they didn’t have time to clean the car they put me into. I also could not get ahold of customer service for the life of me. Awful experience.

Drop off at SFB was easy. We had to change our drop-off location mid-trip and this was easy to do over the phone using the “rental extension” phone number on our initial receipt.Was traveling with an IL driver’s license that had its expiration date extended 6 months by the state of IL due to Covid-19. No issues with TSA in 3 different airports. No issues anywhere except Hertz in St. Petersburg where the store manager would not allow me to pick up the car. In the state of FL, Hertz does not have good options for dealing with toll roads. You can either pay an exorbitant amount of money up-front (for our rental period something like $70, way more than the amount we would pay in tolls), or you can get charged afterwards for the tolls you use + a $10 administrative fee for each. There are several toll roads where you can only “pay by plate” or transponder and there is no option for paying with cash, so if you don’t know the area and your navigation takes you on one of these roads, Hertz has you over a barrel.

Agent called an hour before pickup saying no vehicle was available. No alternative given. No help offered. I would never trust hertz again.Providing the service promised.

Made appointment online for same day rental and went to pick up and there's none available. I live in area and saw vans/cars there never move. Also never received a call when one came available.

The staff was very friendly and pickup and dropoff were very easy!The Hertz office location needs better signage, including directional signage. It is in the back of a large car dealership and repair facility, and while there is a small Hertz sign under the dealership sign once you get in the parking lot you have no idea how to find it. I had to go into the dealership and ask and I still drive around for several minutes before I found it.

The Hertz rental at that location no longer exists. I took an Uber to and from the location from my home, $18. I waited outside on hold for over 20 minutes while an agent tried to find another location with a car. No such luck. My Christmas plans were ruined.Update your website to reflect accuracy.

They never got a vehicle for me. I called after making the reservation through Kayak and they had nothing in. They promised to call me as soon as they did. I never received a call back.Everything could have been better.

We didn’t even get to pick up the rental car and were left scrounging for a car to fit 7 at the last minute. We visited the location on the Tuesday before pick up to insure it’ll be a smooth pickup because the vehicle was paid with my credit card but was registered under my boyfriends name. They guy working at Hertz at that time said it would be no problem, I did not need to be present, my boyfriend just needed to fill out a couple of papers on the day of pick up and all set to go. Well Saturday comes around and my boyfriend goes to pick up the car with my credit card in hand just in case they ask for it, and they wouldn’t allow him to pick up the car without me present. The guy who was there Tuesday was denying the fact we were ever there or ever even spoke to him. They wanted me to meet my boyfriend at Hertz, meanwhile I was at work for a 12 hr shift as a cardiac stroke nurse, hence the reason my boyfriend was registered to pick it up. Because I couldn’t make it there, the only option was for my boyfriend to redo the reservation under his name and pay with his card, however, Hertz wouldn’t price match and it would’ve been $250 more than we were paying. Overall terrible experience. If there policy is that the payment and the registration need to be under the same name, then they shouldn’t allow people to book it otherwise. And they definitely shouldn’t have there employees say it would be no issue when we checked ahead of time that it would be a smooth process.

Arrived 30 minutes before closing... ask for a cab so our 3 kids ( 5 months old) would not have to wait outside.....employe called last minute.....employe kicked us out with our baby on a 98degre day around noon... so it could close and go to his friend s party.........
