"Credit card insurance" nearly doubles the rental
Pros: The car was very nice
Cons: The website quoted 30 per day but when I went to pick it up there was an additional mandatory 20 per day charge of "credit card insurance". Sketchy.

Nice car, wasn't prepared for poor customer servic
Pros: The mid-sized Peugeot was a great car and suited our families needs.
Cons: If you expect US service and friendliness from Dollar employees on a military base remember you are in Germany. This will be the last time I use their service. Try a local economy rental company instead for better service. Any money saved with Dollar is spent on mandatory insurance. Recommend getting approval to decline mandatory insurance in writing from CC or insurance company BEFORE renting. Also, the office was difficult to locate or call unless you search for another common rental car company. .

Cons: We were not able to pick up the rental. They were requiring a letter from the credit card company stating the card covered full coverage insurance. What we could get didn't have all the info required on the letter and your auto insurance was not accepted
