Sub par vehicleThe vehicle they gave us was full of dents scratches and marks. We have verlooked that but when we got in and drove away it smelled of cigarettes. We could not get rid of the smell so returned for an exchange. The line for that was 49 minutes. I would not use budget again.

Nickel and Dime with a poorly maintained filthy vehicleThe shuttle to the airportUpon arriving there was a wait, then it was a lengthy process using our debit card for payment. The attendant attempted to force us and point blank asked how we would pay for damages since we refused insurance. He also stated our insurance would not cover damage, which our agent advised otherwise! We were told that they had to run a credit check and that took a while. We finally received the keys and approval. There were no budget attendants available to assist in finding our vehicle. The car was a Yaris. There were stains all over the cloth interior, the front bumper had to be snapped back into place. There were multiple exterior damages and the car was poorly serviced. Overall this was a poor experience and we will likely avoid Budget in the future.

it was a disaster. I asked for budget near McCarron airport in Las Vegas. It cost me $60 to go way out of Las Vegas to pick up the car. I was given a no charge drop off at the airport, but reception tried to stick it to me with the drop off fee and gas. When I clearly had the gas refilled. I will never do business with Kayak or Budget again, and I travel a lot. It was ridiculous.

Budget rented the car to someone else and did notI went to the airport location when my flight landed to pick up my vehicle. I was told that I was at the wrong Budget location and needed to go there to pick up my vehicle, the only problem was that location was closed when my flight landed. I had requested the airport location but apparently they changed it to a different location. I called the next morning when they operated and was told they rented my car to someone else since I didn't not show up and had no more cars available. The agents at the airport and the other facility were not helpful at All! They didn't even care or try and help me get a vehicle.

I needed to drop off my car overnight, but the location I booked was closed when I arrived to las vegas and did not have an overnight drop off option. I called the customer service line and after about 45 min was told by a supervisor the change to an open location would cost me $300, despite rental itself only cost $150. The number at the airport location they provided so I can speak with someone at the counter to see if they could help me, no one ever answered. So I had to spend 3 hours of my trip the next morning returning the car and cancelling my plans for the morning. Despite 2 budget locations a lot closer with overnight drop off options. I was most disgusted by the lack of customer service by the company at all levels, and as such myself or my businesses will never use budget rental again.

The rental was very inexpensive online, but was 25The Budget folks were very sympathetic that I had made the wrong location choice.I had to pay $200 for the Rental but went to Thrifty instead.

The right front axle of the car had issues from the moment we picked it up, but we were already behind on our trip, we had to use the car regardless.
