The Lynbrook location of the Avis counter was convenient for my stay on Long Island. They seemed to have plenty of cars and there was essentially no wait at the counter to get my car.Cons:
The Avis office is in a dingy broken down building - no frills. The car was clean except for the interior windows which were filthy. Upon returning the car the Avis attendant must of noticed the filthy windows and even asked if I smoked in the car (I'm a non-smoker) and I informed her that that was the status of the windows when I rented the car just a few days earlier.10,0 Wonderful

Windshield was so dirty inside and outside that we had to buy glass cleaner and paper towels to clean it so we could see during the rain. Tire pressure in a one front tire was 39 lb should have been 32 - tire pressure in the rear tire was 26 lb -should have been 32. Car previously rented to a smoker and was not cleaned prior to renting it to us.8,0 Very Good
