The car was very nice, and pickup was efficientCons:
I prepaid the reservation on line, assuming that was standard and would expedite pick up. Then I had to change the date of the pick up...and it cost me a $100 cancellation fee, even tho I had already booked the new reservation with Hertz. Apparently the confirmation email from the first reservation stated there was a fee for cancellation, but since I cancelled more than 24 hrs in advance and rebooked a car, it is pure price gouging that they charged this fee. Will never book a car this way again6,8 Okay

The staff was very helpful and friendly. He tried to take photos of the vehicle but it was so filthy you couldn't see if there was any damage to the body of the suv.Cons:
I drove the car out of the lot and went straight to a gas station to clean the back window. I had zero visibility. I also cleaned the side view mirrors. My pants were so dirty from entering and exiting the suv, I had to return home and change my clothes.8,0 Very Good

We arrived 15 min early for pick up and the car wasn't ready yet. Also, I wish they didn't charge a one-way drop off fee for in state drop off. Finally, the clerk couldn't tell me much about drop off at the airport - given it's the airport, I just expected she'd know more. Perhaps she was new.Avis

Staff at Lebanon was friendly. There was no attendant at return location in Dulles Airport (Sterling). I had to go to Avis counter to return the keys.Cons:
