AVIS didn’t provide the car at allI booked a self-drive car 20 days in advance and received a confirmation number. I communicated my flight details as required for the “meet and greet” delivery. No car was delivered, I had a hard time reaching any AVIS agent, to eventually find out my car rent had been unilaterally cancelled by AVIS. I’m not sharing here the fishy answers I received, nor the extra time and money this misadventure has cost me. If only I had been warned in advance, I could have adapted my plans.
